      It's a god-tier beard. He must dye it though. He can't be 50 years old with no grey hair lol

    Outstanding. These are two of the most important people in the guitar world today. Sterling has done more to promote rock guitar since Les Paul and Leo Fender than anyone else. Look at Morse, Luke and Albert Lee as devotees of his great work. John is a master of the guitar and has changed the way it is played at this point. Anyone can watch this video and learn a lot about the music business. I loved it.

    Glad to hear Steve Morse get props for his vibrato. I always thought he was one of the guys who really had a unique sounding vibrato, but I don't hear a lot of people mention it.

    I genuinely believe the Majesty is the best, most optimized electric guitar design ever. There's nothing I would change about it that would objectively make it better.

    Petrucci is an incredibly humble person. I think it's from the fact, no matter how good you get, you still have to practice and learn new things and improve. I've never seen him pissed off or swear in a negative way. Such a disciplined person in general.

    Haven't really listened to JP much (not a Dream Theater fan. Nothing wrong with 'em, just not my style) but man, after seeing how gracious, humble and sincere he is, I might have to broaden my musical horizons with his work. Always though Kirk Hammet was the nicest guy in metal/rock... J. Petrucci might have taken over that mantle.

    Marty Friedman has the best vibrato technique on the earth

    • @rickfeith6372
      @rickfeith6372 8 лет назад +7

      Yup. JP is the most precise and consistant though, and he is a world class mature songwriter with the best tones ever. A textbook perfect player. But Marty is just nuts, and he puts his sack into every note like no other. But...John's epic solos are just....perfect. I LOVE Friedman., but Johnny gets my vote.
