A crazy crit build I happened upon and built up to do as much as I could figure out it could!

Just a quick note! The fateful strike mod only removes ADDITIONAL weakspot damage. So i guess that means from mods and effects and not base weakspot dmg
I understood it as, a weak spot is a normal hit, in a vital area, then modifiers from gun/mods/ect are added. Incase you need to hit weak spots to trigger effects more often, you can still do that, yet without additional damage, therefore it hits as strong as a normal hit would.
Work has been well, working me over, I hope to get back into the game soon to test that, and get my other builds going and put on here.

Status damage is only for unstable bomber only ?
Element damage also works. The game considers blast an element. I'm not sure why Status and Element exist separately yet. I feel like I must be missing something, yet they both increase numbers.
I haven't gotten the jaws yet, did get boom boom with hardy gloves though, saw some 30k explosions with it. Combining it with molotovs can make it explode alot really quickly.
I dont have it fully optimized yet but I can hit almost 250k damage per mag.
Oh that's a good idea for Boom Boom indeed! Forgot about maybe adding a tactical item into the mix!
My buddy trying boom boom is completely curious how you are getting 30k explosions. I haven't looked into the build myself yet, but it seems you are doing something right!
@Xelray I think it only reaches that on deviants with the suppression buff, ill let you know my setup once I get back home.

Sheltered top (any piece with high intensity will do) hardy gloves, 4x falcon.
Precise strike, blaze amplifier, gold elemental overload, slow and steady, weakspot damage boost (or status) bullet siphon,
Boom boom with 2 x status damage, burning wrath,
Weapon for bullseye
Secondary stats focus on mag capacity, elemental damage, weakspot or weapon damage, burn damage, health.
Tactical combo, weakspot chain reaction, flame resonance, tactical combo, not sure if elemental sense effects with blast damage.
It's not a consistent 30k, I'm sure it's with all buffs active, vs the enemy type that throws the boomer enemies. It's usually around 8k-14k damage when it blows up. But I can get a consistent 250k damage per mag.
is this build viable to this day?
The build in practice is, stat wise. Some things have definitely changed. Falcon is no longer Best in slot because of the lack of Psi intensity. Yet with the shattered maiden deviant and weapon calibration attachments, I'd have to crunch numbers to see what is best. I do have a feeling Jaws is a problem in PvP servers so it'll get a pass over potentially.
Don't forget to add 16gb ram to the build.
Yeah, this thing definitely has some latency/lag issues, hah. Sometimes I don't get damage off at all for 5-10 seconds.

Got everything cept the stupid jacket...
The jacket is needed! It sucks to miss a piece. On the PvP server this was a set that was 100% granted in roughly 30 pulls if you were unlucky. 40 max.

no food buff, just use roll
The roll is awesome! One shot, reload, roll before it finishes and POW POW. The Jaws hits like crazy, and my build definitely isn't perfect. Yet it gets by really well if you happen to get the gun. Investment of how much effort to play is low and its easy for everyone who gets it!

How you get guns and items in this game is the dumbest thing, it kills all sense of progression and wanting to play.
You just use the wish machine or open crates, really not that difficult at all. A lot of it unlocks after certain points in the game
@@Rabbit640 I've spent 30-40k on the Wish machine and haven't gotten any of the 3 main guns everyone is using. Shits lame
This was a 100% chance to pull if you saved up. It was on the PvP server. They get Jaws and Sleek Leather Jacket, and they also go the predator and oasis mask. No chance of luck with the build I chose to display here.
RNG when it comes to competitive nature will always make people annoyed, they lose the race, or pass everyone else by and have to wait a lot of the time. It's a fair notion. Yet the game is meant to have everything over a few seasons, not everything in the first.
@@Xelray Oh weird, I'm just on a PVE server and there's no guaranteed drop at least none that I've seen, kinda sucks. And yeah I don't mind endlessly grinding for the best stuff, I've done it in WoW, Division, Destiny, etc.. but make it possible to do so for a decent result, everything is limited in some form in this game that's the issue.
