  • I know everyone who do armwrestling has these injuries but somehow it's hard for me to accept that I try to recover but somehow it's never enough.
Do you also have these problems? Tell me about it. Write me a comment about how you feel about it and what do you do to make the progress better?

Hey megan, hope all is well.
I recommend you dont go 100% on armwrestling table time. If anything, can a feel for it, on how to move and stregthen. And armwrestle once a week and depending of how sore you are, 2 weeks to recover. And continue with your strength training. Like weights or bands. Hope you recover and get stronger💪💪.

@@yourname6703 Hello, thank you for watching the video. And thank you for your advice. I think the problem was that in the beginning I did a lot of hard table training because my arms were very healthy, so I got really obsessed and then I started getting more and more micro injuries that never healed and you keep going until you can't get any further. Just like my sparring colleagues, I have to learn to switch off the ego, sometimes it would be wiser..🤗

When your elbow hurts when sparring or training, the best way to fix it is by doing JM Press. Ive had this problem before it was very annoying and it limits me from training heavy. But after doing jm press for about two session, the pain in the elbow went away and i am very suprised

@@fitmeganstone1459 it is mostly about the tendons, you should do jm press somewhere from 10-15 reps or more if it works for you

Hy Thanks for your opinion, yes, I have heard that it takes a long time for the ligaments and tendons to recover and become stronger. I have to be patient. I am very ambitious and mentally I want more than my body can do. But all these comments help me because I can see that it is much more normal than I thought

@@fitmeganstone1459 Exactly 😄, when you start training by never exceeding a pain above 2/10 everything changes, and instead of damaging the your body adapts 🦴, competitions can be an exception but you need total rest in this case for minimum 10 days, the most frustrating thing is actually listening to your body and wanting more I did the same thing and I tore a ligament in my hand, it gives discipline 💪

I was just watching Todd Hutchens and he says on his you tube channel train your joints not just your muscles most Americans get injured and their joints are weak because we focus so much on muscle building workouts. Americans and most of the world focus too much on just muscle building workouts instead of endurance or core/joint work.. Try kettlebells and dumbbell's instead of bench press or barbell work or try bands that are better for your joints too much barbell work is where most athletes eventually get injured on. Use different workouts better for your core and joints that are better for your elbows because bench is the last exercise you want to do when your elbows are screwed up.

@@benjaminsanders-oz5nu hy Benjamin, Very well explained and a lot of it is true. Over the years you become a bit narrow-minded, it's good to think about other information. Thank you 😊
