Those Speedway levels were HELL for me, especially trying to get those Skill Points. It helped GREATLY learning I can press JUMP while flying to gain altitude - saving me from MANY a dip in the water. Worst of all may have been the Skateboard races, the Super Bonus Round one was actually EASY, but trying to get the Skill Point for the Lost Fleet one - Kill Me.
The more I think about Spyro 3 reignited the more sad I get. Spyro 3 was always my favorite of the Spyro games and the fact that it was rushed and didn’t get the same attention as the others will always make me sad when thinking on what could’ve been. That being said, I surprisingly didn’t have much trouble with the Lost Fleet races, including the skill point. And I never found the Speedways too hard. Totally agreed on the others though. A tip I learned for whack-a-mole that helps somewhat is that if you whack a hole where a mole is hiding before they jump out, the game still acts like you’ve hit them. So you don’t have to wait if one ducks in before jumping out. But I literally only just learned from your video that I could make the perspective top down myself...oops...
5) Yep, that slide section is really hard, much harder than Trolley one. I've lost almost 10 lives before I actually managed to beat it. 4) Usually I find the rhynocs race to be the most tedious, while the Hunter race is actually pretty easy considering that you have only to worry about Hunter and get the crabs. 3) I feel like the main problem is that Spyro Fireball is much smaller compared to the one of the classic trilogy. That one was more of a cannonball, while the one in the Reignited trilogy is more of small bullet (That, and is actually less powerful. In the classic trilogy the fireball could destroy three iron vases in line in one shoot, in the reignited you can only destroy 1 at the time unless they are close to each other). 2) You can change the camera during that challenge!? *Facepalming while hissing furiously at myself*. 1) Yeah. While I don't have that too much trouble in the flight levels (You just need to adjust a bit), the flight races are more complicated. In my recent playthrough I managed to beat most of the races in one or two attempts, but Harbor Speedway is without a doubt the hardest. Mostly because of the tight manouver you need to do to get the stars and all the other thing you've mentioned.
Honestly I feel like the only characters that felt alright or improved to play as in the 3rd game of Reignited was Sgt. Byrd and Agent 9. You've pretty much went over my issues with Bentley but Sheila was so unpleasant to play as partially due to her new design which makes her uncomfortable to trek across the levels. Like she makes it feel like I'm dragging her around and it doesn't feel like she was synced up well with the controls.
For some reason, I had an extremely hard time with a certain mission that doesn't really seem to be as hard for others. The Agent 9 shooter mission in Dino Mines was KILLING me inside to the point where I had to save it for the very last when I 100% Spyro 3. Of course, the whack-a-mole mission is even worse with the bullcrap RNG and stupid magicians getting in the way.
The Blue footed Boobies took me two hours to get the hang of - mayyybeee three. Otherwise, I absolutely hated racing the pigs in the Country Speedway. Also is it strange that I struggled with the Butterfly race? For some reason, I just could never cut in front of the last butterfly. Got 2nd place lots of times.
I little side note, but the missiles not landing in the speedway reminded me of how the missiles in Crash Nitro Fuelled seem off. I swear to Godzilla that the missiles in the original Crash Team Racing were _far_ more accurate even without 10 Wumpa, but in Crash NF, whether it's online or not, Juiced Up or not, the Missiles fly right by the other racers 70-80% of the time. This makes me think that either Naughty Dog and Insomniac either *really* knew what they were doing when making their respective original games, or the current developers making these remakes just aren't attentive enough or up to the same standard of quality of work to achieve what was accomplished on previous-gen technology. I may have a heavy pair of nostalgia glasses on, but the originals were made with the full potential of the PS1 in mind, you could see and feel that back then. Yet the current day developers simply don't seem to share that mindset. And that's disappointing to me, they're not going at it with everything they have. (Note: Crash Nitro Fuelled is an excellent remake and a near perfect example of developers listening to the fans and Spyro was brought back with such love it warms the heart. But again, the aspiration of quality is comparatively lacking).
Thanks for the whack-a-mole tip. This is by far my least favorite challenge in Reignited. Though I also gotta mention that Agent 9's challenge in Dino Mines was also pretty tedious, because for some reason the d-pad wouldn't move the circle, so I had to use the left stick for that. Boy, was that a pain.
Also, funnily enough, I didn’t really have much trouble with the racing portion of Harbor Speedway. It’s definitely tough and requires some very sharp and precise turns, sure, but as long as you go through enough speed boosts, then it isn’t really that hard to get first place. If anything, I found Mushroon Speedway a larger offender since the butterflies go through almost all the same speed boosts you do, meaning you’ll have to make *very* sharp turns in order to have a chance of winning. I legit think I ended up getting 2nd place thirty times before I finally won. The Hunter mission though? It was *abysmal,* since the sheep makes such sudden and jerky turns that you’ll have to practically memorize his movements if you wanna go through all the rings and actually have a chance of beating him. That along with Hunter feeling weirder to control than Spyro and being so close to the sheep making the margin for error way larger definitely made this mission a nightmare for me.
I clicked this expecting that mole one to be #1 as every time I've played it in Reignited it's absolutely horrific. But now you've said the camera can be changed I'm going to have to go back and try that to see if it improves it. Your #5 and #1 though were relatively ok for me, oddly, though I can definitely see why they'd be troublesome, especially the speedways which are bad in all three remasters. Your #4 and #3 are well justified! Other infuriating challenges are the goddamn yeti race at the end as it's absolutely filled with bugs all over Seashell Shore's castle raid makes Sheila's drop-kick not smash through as much as the originals and so the time limit ends up incredibly tight, which is also I think something that happened in her already-annoying Spooky Swamp challenge. Bentley's Bamboo Terrace climb seemed to have a lot more unavoidable TNT than I remember. Charmed Ridge and Dino Mines in general seemed to suffer from a horrid case of magnetic projectiles making even getting to their challenges awkward. And some of the jumps in Desert Ruins had this feeling of border-line impossibility about them making getting around awkward. You can really tell that Spyro 3's remaster was rushed and/or out-sourced when you compare it to the other two remasters. Spyro 1's is almost perfect while Spyro 2's has mostly minor niggles. Spyro 3's is still a bit of a buggy mess which doesn't help that it was already, subjectively, the worst of the original three to play anyway. It's rather a shame and it feels like I have to play the original game instead of the remaster if I want to play through it again, and I will as I do it every year or two.
Veggeh some tips actually. These work in both the original and Reignited. In Sheila’s Seashell Shore challenge, you can stomp on the actual extended part of the cannons to blow them up rather than having to clear away the sand and then stomp on top of them. This makes the challenge incredibly fast and easy. The TNT in Bentley’s stage is actually completely avoidable. You just have to spin it away with the square button.
I'm surprised that no one else has mentioned the trick with that slide; when you approach that turn push yourself against the low barrier and it slows you right down making the turn a doddle.
With the issue in the speedways levels i think it's mainly because you "drift" in the air, taking an speed boost (+The Supercharge works like in Spyro 1, instead of Spyro 2).
I had a glitch on the ripto fight in reignited where he got three orbs right when i got a last hit on him. The cutscene for phase two played but when it actually happened there were two riptos. One in first phase and the other in second phase
I never had any problems with the races or slides.... But that challenge in the fireworks factory with the dragons almost made me throw my switch contoller at the tv
I think they FUBAR'd the skateboarding in Reignited. I always remember those being my favorite levels as a kid. But then when I played it in Reignited something just felt off. I think the landing angles both on the x and y axis is off or something cause it is entirely too easy to wipe out.
i do agree with the Twin Dragons being a little more tedious to do, same with the harbour speedway racing challenge (that challenge really was annoying because of how drifty spyro was with turns with or without speed boosts). Bentley's boxing challenges are still annoying to do as well as it took a few attempts to do first few runs though the game
The Whack A Mole thing was what prevented me from getting 100% in one case, because of all the things you mentioned, but also another part that had nothing to do with an egg. It was in Desert Ruins, and you had to glide from a platform to a hand, and then to another platform where there's some gems waiting. Well, for some reason, you are just unable to make that jump in 60 frames, and it took me way to long to figure it out, taking a fair bit of damage every time Spyro couldn't hover up. (That poor lizard next to the jump). Eventually, I looked it up, and was told to put it in 30 frames, and then i was able to do it first try.
Gosh the challenges in the reignited version of Spyro 3 is more challenging than the reignited version of first and second games’ challenges and I’m in for a good challenge on trying to 100% the game
I never played with the D-Pad so yeah it works, I need to test again I don't reeeally remember if that's the easiest way to do it but there is a way to cheeze that
Even as a seasoned player of the original trilogy, Reignited put me through the ringer a number of times. The third game was easily the hardest of the three and several of the challenges listed here contributed to that. With the ninja challenge, I usually put myself in a corner to get a proper perspective of the room to shoot my way out-- I did that in the new version and there were too many ninjas coming that I couldn't move and died. This slide- I died on 10 TIMES. Over a silly thing that should only take 10 seconds. Then I somehow kept missing the Headbash chest in Desert Ruins- not my best day. Another challenge difficult for me was the Bamboo Terrace one saving the pandas- must have done it 20 times before I beat it. Mostly the parts with the bridges and you have to shoot 2 of them. It's hard to spin the controls around to get both of them quickly. At least with the whack-a-hole challenge, I had moments where I could laugh and enjoy myself- spamming A to get through the text and hitting the Great Randini a couple times LOL. The crazy part I found was with all these games, challenges that were harder for me in the original version got easier and the easy parts somehow got harder. Honestly by the time I got through the third game, I was just so relieved to be done. Once I beat Harbor Speedway, it was smooth sailing until the end
So, my thoughts on some of these and how I managed to beat them: 5. I discovered that purposely running into the barrier at that last bend will slow you down enough to make the turn. 4. One of my most frustrating as well, and it probably took me a total of 2-3 hours to get both eggs and the skill point for that track. I did figure out a strategy though, even if it's hard to execute, as it requires you to make few if no wipeouts. 3. It did take me a couple tries, but I got fairly good at dodging. Focus fire and kill one at a time. 2. Also took me a couple tries. The way I did it was I didn't aim for one that were running around, but rather focused on the gophers that poked their head out of the ground first before jumping out. 1. The hardest flying race in the game for me, but I figured out a decent strategy for this, as well. It requires a little patience, and you saving rockets for certain moments, and going through specific speed boosts. I redid it so many times for going off track that I learned the birds' flight paths pretty well.
Thanks to a couple friends, I found an even easier way to do the slide. Holding L2 on the Reignited control scheme will constantly center the camera behind you and basically lock you in place so you never veer off-course.
Speaking of the Bentley side missions, on replays, I always dread the Bamboo Terrace one. Not for the entire minigame itself, really, but about halfway or so up the mountain, there's a Rhynoc standing on his own, on top of part of a temple/house/whatever the bloody term slash name is for that specific thing, but that's not the thing that stands out: The thing that stands out, is that the leveling of the two platforms (the only word I could come up with to describe them) makes it so you have to either jump and hit him, or somehow walk around the other side, and not get hit. This wasn't *that* bad in the original game, as even if the Rhynoc whacked you with his umbrella, you simply took a bit of damage, and that was it (avoiding the bouncing boulder, and the second/third lot TNT barrels was more of a challenge - those two things seem to be easier in Reignited, which, I suppose makes sense... possibly); you could smash his head in, and continue on your merry stroll. Reignited, however, makes it so that, 90 something percent of the time, you WILL fall off the cliff, and plummet to your death, and I'm sure the Rhynoc's got a better aim this time around, and better reflexes. It certainly seems like it, anyway.
Yeah. This video really point out the issues with Year of The Dragon. If you never been a fan of these challenges, they managed to be worse given the buggy nature of the game. It really did took me out I won’t lie. In the case of this remaster I really do lean to the original games. It just makes me want to play them more again. For the most part. Because it’s not to say they haven’t done amazing good changes. :)
Clear Out The Pipe from Seashell Shores was raging inducing for me. Made me want to tear out someone’s eyes and pound them in the face with all my might. Jack And The Ridge 2 was an egg challenge I unfortunately didn’t complete as a kid, but nowadays I luckily seem to get it like nothing by adding 3 mushrooms to the last obstacle rather than 1 flower and 2 mushrooms. Insomniac had a fetish with overcomplicating the shit out of Spyro challenges.
The first time I played Reignited, I had a lot of trouble with Hunter's challenge in Mushroom Speedway. I can do it fairly easily now though. One challenge that I really hate is the one in Harbour Speedway where you have to fly through the rings to catch up to the UFO. Hunter will eventually out-speed the UFO and you have to fly into a wall to slow yourself down.
Here are my thoughts on these picks: 5. Haunted Tomb's Snake Slide- yeah, I agree that that one turn in the slide can make or break your attempt(s) at getting to the end. I'll admit it's one of my least favorite egg challenges in 3 Reignited, and I also figured out on my own that you had to turn earlier than you would have to. I can do it in a few tries now, but it doesn't get rid of the frustration experienced beforehand. 4. Lost Fleet's skateboard races- I also hate these challenges. I don't care much for Lost Fleet myself. The vulture blasting can be tedious, if not boringly long, the acid can be annoying to deal with, (though I myself like the swimming part of it) and I don't really like the level's music, but I'll take those over those blasted races. Though I never knew that you can use your flame breath on Hunter, and I never came across any glitches myself. 3. Fireworks Factory's twin dragons- yeah, I don't like this either. The dragons' designs are the only thing I like about them. The pure fact that the fight can drag on and on, and pretty much everything else you said about this makes this a dealbreaker in an otherwise enjoyable level for me. 2. Crystal Island's Whack a Mole- not a fan of this one either. I didn't know that you could change the camera angle in the challenge itself. If the wizards weren't in the area of the moles, I would bet all the money I have that the challenge would be a ton less annoying. The one minute time limit doesn't help when one smack on a wizard's head and start over for you. On a personal note, I never was bothered by the Over The Shoulder perspective for Bentley that much. 1. Harbor Speedway's Blue Footed Boobies race- I don't like the Speedways as much as I don't like the flight levels in Spyro 1. When replaying the games 100%, I never look forward to playing them. The turning when boosting can be incredibly difficult to get used to, but after a while, it wasn't that bad to me. The only other thing in Harbor Speedway that I can't stand is the music. I've heard repetitive music in games, especially in Mega Man, but I'd rather listen to those than Harbor Speedway's theme. It got ear-grating on me, real fast. I apologize if this is too long for you to read, Miharu. My thoughts on things in comments usually get this long, but I try to sum up my thoughts without going overboard with length.
Fun fact the lost fleet skateboarding is more broken than you said. If you get on the skateboard and quit over and over it will eventually slow down so much it’s unplayable
@@sharmarkealisalad The first time I played Lost Fleet, when I tried to do the Skateboard section it infuriated me so much 😡 Especially when trying to do the course record, the framerate was horrendous and whenever I would do a lap, the lap counter wouldn't go up to tell me I was on the 2nd or 3rd lap. It took me ages to get that Skill Point and made me think that there's no way it was this difficult in the original.
I love the twin dragon's are awesome but man they made it hard I did not even see how the Canon mini game was like cus flashbacks of all the rage it give me in the original ps1 game
The Lost Fleet skateboarding race was actually really easy for me, since as long as you get enough distance between the Rhynocs and Hunter then you’ve basically won the race since they don’t really catch up to you. Unlike in the speedway races where you have to play nearly perfectly in order to win. The skill point challenge though? That was absolute *HELL,* and legit took me nearly 2 hours since crashing even once is pretty much a death sentence, and for some reason I’d barely get boost at times despite doing tricks. Idk who playtested this level, since it definitely feels far from finished, and is a large stain on an otherwise great game/trilogy.
Fun fact for the boobie and yeti race in the original, I always have to lose each exactly two times because the automatically adjusting difficulty of Spyro 3 makes them literally impossible at my play skill and only adjusts after two tries after which it's suddenly a cake walk. Luckily it also adjusts by simply starting and immediately exiting the race two times.
@@MiharuTheFox Only Year Of The Dragon and I also only know because I saw a retrospective where it was mentioned. I'm not entirely sure what exactly it adjusts, outside of minigames. Maybe the reaction time of enemies. It does often feel like the big rhinocs hit way too quickly in that game. But it's definetly a problem when the highest difficulty can literally make the two last racing minigames impossible until it readjusts and make enemies react punishingly quick. But, y'know, they experimented a bit and that's fine.
The thing I don’t like how in lost fleet in reignited is that it uses sheila’s alp music. I honestly preferred it when it used the super bonus music in the ps1 original.
It's only the black label version of the original (and multiple pirated copies, so I've heard) that has that. The soundtrack in Reignited is based on the Greatest Hits version which plays the "real" music for each level. I also prefer Molten Crater music for Dino Mines. But hey, at least the Sorceress boss fight doesn't use the Sunrise Spring track.
Personally I did like speedways, when it came to three anyway. (Wild Flight killed my enjoyment of them in Spyro 1) but in Reignited Spyro's acceleration is wonky. He goes out of control the moment he gets any sort of speed boot, not to mention the AI feels a lot faster in this one on time of the wonky acceleration, making the AI feel rubberbanding in some ways. The Skateboarding controls suck in Reignited, it feels really sensitive in terms of control, as you feel punished for doing flips and tricks more often. At least in original's credit Super Bonus Round had the benefit of the infinite boost glitch and the skateboarding wasn't that bad (still wasn't perfect)
5: whackamole. Once you realize the camera thingy it isn't that bad, but I still hit way too many wizards. 4: Destroying the twin dragons. Way too frustrating. 3: Agent 9 on rail shooter section: I didn't beat that one. I accidentally got a bonus thingy which restored my HP mid challenge. Else, it would have been nightmarish trial and error. 2: Guiding the bomb freaks with Sheila. Efff those bomb carrying losers! 1: Both turbo skateboard thingies. Not that frustrating, but not even fun to begin with. Honorable mentions: The first speedway, both the race and Hunter challenge: Strangely enough, this was the last speedway I played and even more strange, it gave me the most trouble. Three too many times I was about to win the race, but I couldn't beat the last one before reaching the goal. Hunter mission was worse. I am still not sure what kept destroying his saucer thingy and how I managed to beat it. Also, Sheila 2D mission. I thought it was awkward to control. The least troublesome of my complains, but still present. Felt like if I walked, the reaction time when a cannon popped up was too strict so I had to he constantly jumping around, which is not comfortable.
I'm sure those egg challenges can be really difficult, frustrating and irritating as well. It may take some players a while to beat those tough egg challenges you know.
I agree with your top pick although I don't really count speedways as a challenge more of trial and error races I also hated harbor speedway in Reginited and probably the original it took way too long to beat I can't even tell you how long to be honest. The second worse was Shooting the dragons challenge in Reginited it took me like two to three hours to beat and with spyro 3 being my favourite game I fully completed the game 3 times just like the ps1 days I still really love year of the dragon Honestly I think the second worse challenge is the tomb level with the tanks I hated that stage in general the hazards are so cheap same with Dino mines.
You know, I have to agreed with the Rhynoc race in Reignited, because of the trick controls and I tried to do it right, and it keeps screwing up!! Those need to be fixed!
Anything that involves racing is always my specialty. For a video that has a language warning, you only said hell once which is a minor swear word, but it's always fun to watch your videos Miharu.☺ did you have a great birthday yesterday?
Oh, sorry if I sounded rude, I guess I'm trying to be a little more social this year since I'm back on youtube making videos. Fun fact: my birthday is in 2 days from today, I'll be 26.
Nice list though I wouldn't really say the fire dragon bosses were relaxing for me in the original given that they still attack you and they refill their health every 5 seconds! XD But yeah, I agree Reignited made it more frustrating. My number one would definitely be Bentley's whack-a-mole. I just can't fathom how they made this worse but they did. Anyway, good video!
They still attacked you but they weren't nearly as aggressive and I felt it easier to avoid their attacks since they really only did it if you were up in their face.
Yeah I couldn't stand the dragon challenge, Miharu. God that challenge was a pain in the ass. We seen you do top 5 annoying challenges and top 5 scariest moments, but have you done a top 5 hilarious moments in Spyro games?
Hm... interesting idea, but I don't know if I can come up with a list of moments that everyone would collectively deem "hilarious". Like there are some things that made me laugh personally because of line delivery and whatnot, but I don't know if anyone else would find those things funny. That's kind of a tough one to do.
Hey Miharu, have you gotten platinum trophies for any of the games? (if your on ps4) I only have one challenge left to do for platinum in spyro 2 and that's the swinging bugs in crystal glacier. Always seem to mess up after countless attempts 🤣 was easier on the originals.
That's awesome well done ❤ I really need to get that last one but I had deleted game and would have to play from beginning. I really want platinum on crash but I know time trials will destroy me 🤦♂️ one day I might give it a go 😁 just going for platinum on Astro bot at minute I love this game, have you played it?
My most hated challenges in the reignited trilogy is the speedway levels. If Spyro's turning wasn't total garbage in the reignited trilogy, which makes no sense considering the original games' version of the gliding/flights were actually good, how they managed to mess it up is beyond me.
Am I the only one who hates the FPS with Agent-9 in Dino Mines? I hate that one so much. So many unfair things in that game, from quick movements of the screen and multiple dinosaurs about to shoot you, or a dinosaur lining up behind another one and the front dinosaur is a shield but the back dinosaur can shoot you through the front one. I physically threw my controller when I had finally “beat” it by shooting the last dinosaur but he fired a few shots off right before then and I died
I HATE speedways, I completed Spyro 3 recently up until that boss fight in the super bonus round (you know the one but just in case I won’t say it here) and I found out in my European version there was a glitch were you had to complete a speedway 100% before leaving otherwise you locked yourself out of that speedways remaining eggs, even if you earned it you would have a “You already own this egg” message and the egg wouldn’t be added to the total or atlas. That was a pain but luckily I decided to do mushroom speedway before leaving to midday gardens so I reset the game and started from the beginning, almost entered the evening garden speedway before Hunter was saved which would have hurt me deeply because I had 100% up until this point Think I’ll do Spyro 2 next, the first game I every bought myself through pocket money and chores for some neighbours (though I found 20 years later my dad was putting extra 20p’s in my money box that I used to save up when I was out doing extra chores because he wasn’t sure how long that game would stay on the shelves in our small town and he didn’t want me to miss out which I think was super thoughtful of him. I remember I suspected something back in the day after my dad recommended I count and I suddenly had enough money when I knew I didn’t have enough the day before)
I mentioned the right stick for literally one of these challenges and it was to create a semi-top-down perspective. The first entry has actually more to do with shoulder button camera control than anything else.
I have been a fan of speed ways since the originals but they really messed up the boost stars in reignited and the fire dragons regenerate too fast as well
Fuck fact, the blue footed booby race also made me rage quit! Now like you I was never a fan of the speedways but still once you got the patterns down they were a breeze. But in reignited, I don't know why but I can't control myself like in the old games.
For some reason when i played in reignited 3 i has more trouble with the last speedway than the original game. In the original i first tried, but in the remake... Some ds2 boss was more easier than this clusterfuck (yes i know that ds2 is easier than the first).
i actually thought most of the challenges in the reignited version were easier. But maybe that is because i am older lol. I thought Country Speedway was the hardest race. It took me 3 attempts which was the most of any race. Harbor speedway took me 2 attempts. The lost fleet race isn't that bad if you aren't trying to do crazy tricks. That slide in Haunted tomb is difficult if you do it that way. The only thing you need to do is hit that wall on the last turn and it stops all your momentum so it is easy to do. Now whack a mole and the twin dragon fight is definitely way harder than the original. Whack a mole is the only challenge in the game where i came back to and didn't finish it in the same day. That is how infuriating it was haha. But the super bonus round race is 10 times easier compared to the original. It was basically impossible to win the original race for a lot of people. They definitely toned it down a lot. But the hardest thing in the whole trilogy for me was Gulp. I was expecting to beat him in one try because I don't remember him being hard in the original version. I don't know what they did in this version but he is the worst haha.
I just have a question for you Miharu. Since you like both Ripto and Tachyon because they are short guys, do you also like Kaos from Skylanders? Just wanted to know your opinion of him.
Well he is a short antagonistic fellow who wants to get rid of all heroes like the former two villains and acts like a child; so I thought you would like him just as much as the other two.
They seriously need to fix 'Year Of The Dragon' in the Reignited Trilogy, I don't understand why they haven't released another patch for this game, especially when it came out for Switch and PC. Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy got a patch when the Switch, Xbox One and PC versions were released, so why can't Toys For Bob do the same with Reignited Trilogy. I love Toys For Bob for making this amazing remake, but it kind of feels like they've forgotten about it and not updated it in two years 😥 Like Beenox have updated CTR Nitro-Fueled consistently to keep it fresh.

I love the twin dragons solely for the free flight. They pissed me off too to high heaven and my fingers ached like crazy!!
OMG! I was dying at your pain for number 4
I still think the escort twins are the worst. It's like the alchemist, but you have to do it TWICE. However, Bentley's mole challenge does suck.
That one is on my original list. But somehow, as with the Alchemist challenge itself, I had a much easier time in Reignited.
Escort twins are much easier since you can destroy the boulders before the actual escorts and they DON’T respawn.
That's my #1 as well I think, quite infuriating!
When I read the “Language Warning” in the title, I thought Miharu was going to be swearing. lol
I have to put that even for the most minor of swears, as some viewers have complained in the past.
I know how you feel. These challenges are hard. My hands were tired.
That race took me two hours to beat. I literally felt light headed and wanted to throw up.
Sheila felt fine to me, maybe a bit heavy in some areas but I was able to get through most if not all her challenges with relative ease.
5. Bluto the Rhynoc Boat Battle
4. Country Speedway Pig Race
3. Rhynoc Skateboard Race
2. Whack-a-Mole
1. Twin Dragons
Lmao you had trouble with Bluto??
The Blue footed Boobies took me two hours to get the hang of - mayyybeee three.
Otherwise, I absolutely hated racing the pigs in the Country Speedway.
Also is it strange that I struggled with the Butterfly race? For some reason, I just could never cut in front of the last butterfly. Got 2nd place lots of times.
"I detest speedways.".
Welcome to the world of life.
#screwspeedwaysinspyro
@@smoogieboogie1694 I'll have to try these. Cheers!
I see a Miharu video, I instantly click. Love the content!!
I'm incredibly thankful they brought back the Spyro 1 supercharge controls, I hated them in 2.
0:42 *Post Traumatic Slide Disorder intensifies*
ow...
i went boom again
I had a glitch on the ripto fight in reignited where he got three orbs right when i got a last hit on him. The cutscene for phase two played but when it actually happened there were two riptos. One in first phase and the other in second phase
I hate very hard challenging moments, but among them, I love the twin dragon boss.
@Shane Douglas Glad its not just me. Then again, maybe we just suck and were better as little starry eyed children.
I was fine at the skateboard parks, but Lost Fleet can FUCK RIGHT OFF.
...I’m not looking forward to the yeti race...
I noticed with the snake slide if you hit the wall before the last turn, all of your speed goes away and you regain control of Spyro.
i do agree with the Twin Dragons being a little more tedious to do, same with the harbour speedway racing challenge (that challenge really was annoying because of how drifty spyro was with turns with or without speed boosts).
Even Spyro doesn't wanna be Spyro with these.
Awesome video miharu
Gosh the challenges in the reignited version of Spyro 3 is more challenging than the reignited version of first and second games’ challenges and I’m in for a good challenge on trying to 100% the game
0:55 There is a way to cheeze that, I dont remember how I think is holding back and right at the same time
Does that work with analog? I don't use the D-pad.
#5: The way I do it is by hugging one of the walls, making you go slower so you can take the turn more easily.
So, my thoughts on some of these and how I managed to beat them:
I always have problems with yeti boxing.
You can hug the sides in the slide levels and it slows Spyro down :)
#1 Is why I’m more of a Motorsports speedway gamer
Some of those egg challenges are a pain, I agree!
I agree whole heartedly with everything you said in this. These challenges made me rage
I always found the UFO ring challenge quite easy, actually (in both versions), because I treated it like the manta ray challenge in Spyro 2.
Here are my thoughts on these picks:
The skateboarding sections are unbelievably broken in Spyro Reignited Trilogy 😥 I love them in the original game, but dread them here.
Can't argue with that
@@sharmarkealisalad The first time I played Lost Fleet, when I tried to do the Skateboard section it infuriated me so much 😡 Especially when trying to do the course record, the framerate was horrendous and whenever I would do a lap, the lap counter wouldn't go up to tell me I was on the 2nd or 3rd lap.
FINALLY someone talks about the bullshit camera they gave Bently!
Also, I love your new intro!
The original adjusts difficulty?? Coulda fooled me.
I was wanting to watch this so badly!😍
Honestly none of these were a problem for me except number 4 but I eventually got the hang of it
Why did they force inverted flying controls in reignited??? I will never understand that
You mean for the Y-axis? Were they not always like that?
The thing I don’t like how in lost fleet in reignited is that it uses sheila’s alp music. I honestly preferred it when it used the super bonus music in the ps1 original.
It's only the black label version of the original (and multiple pirated copies, so I've heard) that has that. The soundtrack in Reignited is based on the Greatest Hits version which plays the "real" music for each level. I also prefer Molten Crater music for Dino Mines. But hey, at least the Sorceress boss fight doesn't use the Sunrise Spring track.
Miharu The Fox couldn’t agree more!
I may as well be blunt. Screw those speedways and that yeti race! (Although it worked fine after a reset)
The slide and the Egypt ufo fight has always my most annoying egg challenge i ever done
I hate the boxing match with the yeti, it was literally the last remaining egg I had to get
Personally I did like speedways, when it came to three anyway.
Honorable mentions:
The first speedway, both the race and Hunter challenge: Strangely enough, this was the last speedway I played and even more strange, it gave me the most trouble.
Whack a freaking mole took me literally forever until I gave up on it. Cause the hit box is annoying since the stupid gnomes get in the way..
I agree with your top pick although I don't really count speedways as a challenge more of trial and error races I also hated harbor speedway in Reginited and probably the original it took way too long to beat I can't even tell you how long to be honest.
The second worse was Shooting the dragons challenge in Reginited it took me like two to three hours to beat and with spyro 3 being my favourite game I fully completed the game 3 times just like the ps1 days I still really love year of the dragon
Honestly I think the second worse challenge is the tomb level with the tanks I hated that stage in general the hazards are so cheap same with Dino mines.
You know, I have to agreed with the Rhynoc race in Reignited, because of the trick controls and I tried to do it right, and it keeps screwing up!! Those need to be fixed!
I usually don't get mad at video games, but holy shit the Lost Fleet race legit made me want to take my disc and snap it in half.
"Oww! I went boom again."
The bad dragon mission was most annoying for me because they were hard to hit so i agree on that one
Them challenges ain't no joke they are really really hard but I can't believe that I finished
Ok I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed gliches throughout the game. The races challenges were annoying to try and beat
Miharu and everybody else I hope you all are staying well and safe.
Anything that involves racing is always my specialty.
For a video that has a language warning, you only said hell once which is a minor swear word, but it's always fun to watch your videos Miharu.☺ did you have a great birthday yesterday?
I have to at least put a warning because I've gotten comments that don't appreciate any sort of swear, even minor. And yes, I did! Thank you!
Yes! I platinumed all of Reignited not too long ago, these are the only platinum trophies I've ever gotten for any game.
That's awesome well done ❤ I really need to get that last one but I had deleted game and would have to play from beginning. I really want platinum on crash but I know time trials will destroy me 🤦♂️ one day I might give it a go 😁 just going for platinum on Astro bot at minute I love this game, have you played it?
the egg challenges were tough.
the skill points though..
hate lost fleet's skateboarding skill point with a grim passion ..
My most hated challenges in the reignited trilogy is the speedway levels. If Spyro's turning wasn't total garbage in the reignited trilogy, which makes no sense considering the original games' version of the gliding/flights were actually good, how they managed to mess it up is beyond me.
I actually managed to beat Reignited Trilogy all 3 of the games 100% it was hard except I finally did it 🤗
I did it in late 2018 as well
Am I the only one who hates the FPS with Agent-9 in Dino Mines?
That was a pain but luckily I decided to do mushroom speedway before leaving to midday gardens so I reset the game and started from the beginning, almost entered the evening garden speedway before Hunter was saved which would have hurt me deeply because I had 100% up until this point
Think I’ll do Spyro 2 next, the first game I every bought myself through pocket money and chores for some neighbours (though I found 20 years later my dad was putting extra 20p’s in my money box that I used to save up when I was out doing extra chores because he wasn’t sure how long that game would stay on the shelves in our small town and he didn’t want me to miss out which I think was super thoughtful of him. I remember I suspected something back in the day after my dad recommended I count and I suddenly had enough money when I knew I didn’t have enough the day before)
YOU CAN TURN BENTLEY'S PERSPECTIVE??
TL;DR
"I'm bad at the game and didnt think to use the right stick"
I mentioned the right stick for literally one of these challenges and it was to create a semi-top-down perspective. The first entry has actually more to do with shoulder button camera control than anything else.
2:24 that’s gotta be top 0 for me
This is my list except I would replace the dragons with the mission with shelia in spooky swamp
The skateboarding section in lost fleet did feel buggy, I never played the original version of spyro 3 so I can't really compare the two of them.
Did you do a video like this for the original game?
Yes.
I got the #5 slide on accident!
For some reason when i played in reignited 3 i has more trouble with the last speedway than the original game. In the original i first tried, but in the remake... Some ds2 boss was more easier than this clusterfuck (yes i know that ds2 is easier than the first).
The first list to get to the point and be true
Number 3 is the worst. I spent nearly an 2 hours trying to complete that challenge. Fuck that challenge.
The twin dragon challenge fucking pissed me off my first time playing Reignited. I don't remember it being so irritating in the original...
Some challenges are so hard I just skip it and move on
i actually thought most of the challenges in the reignited version were easier.
And I had virtually no problem at all with Gulp. Different experiences.
I just have a question for you Miharu. Since you like both Ripto and Tachyon because they are short guys, do you also like Kaos from Skylanders? Just wanted to know your opinion of him.
Yes I do! You seem to know my type.
Well he is a short antagonistic fellow who wants to get rid of all heroes like the former two villains and acts like a child; so I thought you would like him just as much as the other two.
Just a little fun fact, I officially turned 26 today😄
Happy Birthday!
@@MiharuTheFox Thank you☺
They seriously need to fix 'Year Of The Dragon' in the Reignited Trilogy, I don't understand why they haven't released another patch for this game, especially when it came out for Switch and PC.
Blame Shitzaru for half assing YotD
