The literary poster boy for the ultimate conman. They've existed since time began. This one is a gem of a huckster! (Thx for the upload. No one does drama as well as the Brits.) But Moliere and Voltaire? Magnifique!
Never saw Anthony Sher's Richard lll, but his powerful first scene in this play suggested what the seduction of Lady Anne must have been like. The rest of the characterisation seemed far too demonic to be true, but it sure was a rivetting production overall. Loved the way Molière grovelled to the monarchy in conclusion. An excellent way to get away with whatever you want to criticise elsewhere!
Awfully over-acted in male roles. The guy who plays Tartuffe, especially. Cleanthe and the females roles, on the other hand, are terrific. A nice production, all in all. Enjoyable.
The Brits are awesome Even in Molière. But here Tartuffe is grossly overacted and a caricature. Shame. Imagine the dark subtlety of Alan Rickman instead. That would have been amazing.
Brillant ! Molière is so subtile, and this performance is the best i've ever seen, even among french ones. I'm french.
That was fantastic loved it loved it loved it. Thankyou wonderful 😊 acting superbly done. Wow. Xo

Hollywood should redo this, and put a xenomorph in the end.
