I know some people will say that your criticism are harsh. But it’s really nice to see how much you love G5. I really love watching your videos even if some people think they’re on the harsh side of things. I also love watching your other videos on game reviews and other tv shows. One of my favorites was the hello kitty paradise review.

I haven't watched your review of "The Blockwockys," but from what I heard, the comments on it weren't at all civil. And it's really just over a piece of media. I don't know why people operate on the mentality of, "They panned it, now they suck!," but some people do, and it's just not right.
I feel like the problem is when people give criticisms of something we adore that we don’t see it as critiques of the media but instead as an attack against ourselves. I'm really glad to see you make a video on this, 'cause I got very angry on your behalf over how utterly butthurt certain G5 fans acted in your last Tell Your Tale review. I get WHY they'd be defensive-they're highly passionate about a show that's riddled with controversy, that's got so many critics against it and even downright shitty people who have bullied fans. Even I, as someone who fell out of love with G5, think it's gotten more hate than it deserves. But it's gotten to the point where you can't even acknowledge that G5 is a controversial show without them being butthurt. Like, not even hate on it, just acknowledge that some people have issues with it. They'll take any mention of G5 that isn't 100% positive as a personal attack. They expect every person that doesn't have all positive things to say about G5 to be a total hater, disregarding anyone who criticized G5 because they legitimately engaged with it and actually cared about it. You haven't said anything in this video that you haven't said or PROVEN before, and anyone who missed that you were giving G5 tough love was ignorant, willfully or not. I'll always be grateful for your G5 analysis, Addy. I'll always be grateful that you were the sane voice of reason in a show that I loved yet simultaneously was frustated with due to its wasted potential. G5 was important to me-shit, it was my biggest distraction in the absolute worst time of my life, my mom died three months before the release of Chapter 1. I'll always be grateful for that, and I critically engaged with it BECAUSE of my gratefulness, and because I legitimately respected G5 for all the good it DID have. I speak in past tense now because my passion on G5 has waned a bit. There's a new show I'm hyperfixating on, and let me tell you it is NICE to like a show where I consistently like the writing for a change. But even now, I still engage with G5 through your reviews. I don’t like the art style of tell your tale and I find pipp to be annoying. I like how diverse the hair textures are how we are getting more lore. Also where did you get the bottle cap heads and do they sell them in Canada

We’re not comparing it to G4 just to be jerks, we’re comparing it to G4 because it clearly wants to be it and it’s literally tied with it. I adored A New Generation because it was a great movie on its own and didn’t rely on G4 to carry it, but MYM completely misunderstood that. All G5 needed to do was let G4 go, that way, G5 could’ve completely stood on its own.

When's the last time I referenced G4 in my videos? Usually I compared G5 to itself, not to G4. Also: Both G4 and G5 are children's media with very similar artistic goals. Comparison is a tool to illustrate how things can be done better/worse in a similar capacity. I compare where it's relevant, and I don't intend to stop doing that
