This was one of my most favorite quests in Fallout 3. So happy to see you finally covering it after all this time. Really can't wait to continue watching this story with everyone else here!
There's something he missed if you walk up then do a u-turn and walk away he callout asking where your going
The fact that the volume and tone of his voice when he says “Hebert” and when he says “Bob” kinda makes him saying that Bob is real kinda somewhat real
Do Fallout 2 please.
I believe he did. It's in one of his playlists!
@@TheJinx1441 it's fallout 1
TheJinx1441 Can’t find it, only Fallout 1, 3, New Vegas, and 4. Link?
I agree it's time for fallout 2 if not side quests in new Vegas
He said in his livestream fallout 76 day 27 that he is playing now for footage
Him talking about the tree growing on his head made me think about when Happy from Fairy Tail grew a mushroom on his head.
“Bow wow wow”
Never have I heard such true words
This really was my favorite quest of the game. The choice was really hard, in the end I boosted his heart si it doesnt get destroyed, but I felt so bad for him ^^
Not going to lie I burned Harold by accident on my first playthrough
In these days, i just wounder about this (and other F3 quests) watching your NV full story. Man i can only say finally, one of the most hard choice and sad quest for F3, and one of the my favourite. I'll wait the next episode with impatience! Good job Ox, loving your hard work.
Tree Father Birch: to meet him, you must undergo the Ceremony of Purification
The Lone Wanderer, after going through the ceremony from the Point Lookout DLC: now hold on just a minute
COME ON!!
Your storytelling is impeccable. The best of the best however these cliffhangers kill me!!!
I've been to Oasis before but your gameplay with the story makes it more exciting!!
If you look hard enough you can find Professor Oak
Harold and grey both become leaders heh
Lone Wanderer: Are you talking about a god?
Birch: No, He is not a god.
Also Birch: He is a god-tree.
Oxhorn! When will you do Broken Steel???? I assume you will have to complete "The Full Story of Fallout 3" mainquest like you did for vegas. I cant wait!!!!
Oxhorn you are my favorite RUclipsr by far I see all this others turning there back on Bethesda but you still holding it down
I’m gonna be honest this isn’t my #1 favorite channel, but it’s in my top 5. Definitely my favorite soothing voice on RUclips, though.
I love when supermutants mutate into such strange forms xD master, harold and herb--i mean bob.. and now various 'cryptids'; from 76, if i'm right. bethesda sure took a while to take the most interesting stuff into their games
Look who made a video about Oasis one day after I explored the place the first time. I had a feeling you were going to make a video of it soon.
I remember playing this game with my dad
I feel sad now
Bow to the ol' powerful Three Dogg!! AHWOOOH!
I had forgotten how annoying he was. I'm not looking forward to meeting him on my current playthrough
@@Gkkiux what are you talking about three dog is awesome
Right on Ox, I never found Harold in my first FO3 playthrough. Wouldn't have understood it's significance though, I never played the early Fallout games. Thanks buddy.
Becoming a tree would be hell
I just love how Birch has a pistol in his hand the whole time you’re talking to me
YES! I remember asking you about it on twitter and you said, "someday soon". Glad to see that day arrive :D
This is one of my favorite places. I randomly found it my first play through and was completely blown away. Even now i have a hard time deciding what to do.
Been waiting a while for you to start a series on the Oasis, such a great quest
Oasis sounds like fertile paradise to me if I lived in the capital wasteland or that or tenpenny tower , but oasis sounds refreshing and cleansing of the soul 🤗
21:06 if what he's saying is true, then the liquid we were forced to drink during the ceremony might have been some combination of sap, puss, and piss witch would explain the funny shape of the alter and the fact that we immediately get knocked out
I remember doing this quest I killed the live tree to end his suffering
Also Gary says Gary
Same here it's the right thing to do he is suffering greatly after all.
What a treat to open up RUclips and see a new Oxhorn video
I was looking for a video of Oasis by you, about 2 weeks ago. 😯 im glad you finally made. Even when i was watching this, i thought it was an older video until I noticed you uploaded this 1 hour ago
I don't know why I remember Oasis being easily reached by a rope bridge. It's been so long since I've played.
I've been waiting for this series for so long!! I love the Oasis questline! I've must have played it hundreds of times yet I'm still excited to see you cover it!
Thanks for this Oxhorn. I loved this quest. I wonder why Bethesda does not get more people to voice their characters. It's like I'm talking to the same three guys over and over again.
Oxhorn - you should (eventually) put together a Fallout college/university type course... i would pay to attend that one. :) *** Thank you again for sharing your work.
Great video when I played Fallout 3 I could never find it but I eventually found it and I had Harold grow across the Wasteland, I just couldn't kill him. But what will you do?
From your biggest fan
This comment is to Oxhorn
Oxhorn I have watched your videos since the beginning and I watched everyone of them I even got my brother Carter to watch your videos and he loves them as much as I do. So thank you for your amazing channel
From your biggest fan
@@tywatts700 damn you right but i would let him grow because the wasteland gets kinda sad without the beautiful green. Although ethically i agree that would be right.
Ty Watts I like your answer
@@stealthprod29 I know and it still was tough for me but I just felt so sorry for him, maybe I'm wrong but I think I picked the best choice for him
I couldnt kill him either, I helped him grow
Thank you so much for making this video. Exactly what I needed
Am I the only one who gets the Boy and his dog Reference? Blood would Call Vic "Albert" just cause he thought it was funny and it annoyed Vic. One of the best references imo.
Finally! I was hoping you'd do some episodes on Oasis soon. Thanks again for a great Fallout lore video
one of my favorite place in the entire fallout universe, it is just so beautiful and interesting. Thanks for making this video Ox :)
I think the Treeminders are my favorite cultists and here's why.
1. They don't force you to do anything.
2. They are nice.
3. I like nature a lot (I just can't take care of plants really well).
Also the Child of Atom are fine, they don't really bother me too much but I much prefer trees and grass meadows over the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Sewer Party.
I'm glad oxhorn is finally covering the Oasis
>Has played "Mothman Equinox"
>Watches Ox approach an Oasis member
>Sees uniform
Waiiiiiiit a minute
Should have talked to the back of the Tree, or "interact" with it and THEN show your Surprise "OH BOOGUS ITS TALKING? I've been Bamboozled! This is not a Tree!"
Can't think those branches are too comfortable
Oxhorn:(sees Bush)
Oxhorn(starts a documentary on it)
