Damn that is some fucked shit isn't it? Super speed raider that also deletes your games. Maybe since it didn't remove 1 , 2, or tactics it's a ghost of one of the OG characters (given the run speed in those games was much faster)
Ghost of the running raider. It is said that once that raider was a man from this world, who somehow Through a stroke of bad luck got transported into the game, into a raider's body nonetheless when they encountered the lone wanderer. And was killed by them as he was running. The code bent around him as he died, forcing him to repeat the run he made for his life while alive, but the man wanted freedom, and the only way to gain that freedom was through the game copy he was on erasing itself and anything related to it. The raider then faded into memory, running across the wastes as if escaping the nukes themselves. Until the player spotted him, which caused a chain reaction, ripping the games apart, so he can finally be free

@@kraktjoetvI really liked that in the story, yeah he’s an asshole and evil but he was still a father to a child and raised her. New vegas is amazing but I never felt genuine guilt for my actions in new vegas like I did there when I just mindlessly killed him thinking the npcs wouldn’t react.
@@puppppppppppuuuuu6205 yeah new vegas does a good job of giving you a lot to do, and a lot of ways to do it, but not much of anything in the way of reactions. most of the changes and the way the world reacts happens behind the scenes which doesn’t do a good job of instilling that feeling of “oh my god i just made a huge decision” or “oh my god i just killed someone”

Fallout 3 is less up front, but the environmental storytelling, impact of your decisions, and rewarding exploration is all q step above NV imo
I didn't kill him because I didn't think Amata would like it.
You can convince harkness to let you kill zimmer. Then go turn in Harkness to zimmer, get wired reflexes and immediately kill zimmer and his body guard. Harkness sanctioned it, so no one on the ship turns hostile. Then you can go back to Harkness, tell him Zimmer is dead and get his blaster.

I started a recent playthrough, of FO3, with no mods but all DLCs and the first thing I heard 3 Dog say, on the radio, was that it had been 2 weeks since the BOS defeated the Enclave. It's not just a one time thing, he says it frequently. Quite an annoying bug...

I don't think it's a bug I think it's just improper scripting. With all dlcs loaded the game expects you to have beaten the vanilla campaign so the broken steel dialogue just gets cycled in. It's just Bethesda man their games are held together by duct tape and a 22 year old game engine they won't let die.

My personal favorite fallout. Nothing will ever match the magic of walking out of vault 101 as a 10 year old for the first time and seeing that huge open world waiting to be explored

In one of the raiders camps (there is also a neutral traider inside) you will be able to find this set. It's a modded way to get the set, but feels not cheaty or cheezy

Fallout 3 was just that game i played so much i hardly looked up videos to get stuff, this took me back to my younger days and i appreciate this video a lot. Fallout 3 holds that place in my heart to this day

You can drink from the sinks in the tranquility lane houses and restore hp with no rad cost. Found this out earlier tonight by accident.
You can also wait until after the super mutant attack to cure timebomb to guarantee getting the lucky 8 ball

its a man wearing leather armor and holding a melee weapon that narrows it down.
might be Charon with his shotgun hence why the game crashed. ive had underworld NPCs show up in my megaton home before on the xbox 360 version.
24:22 i think thats is Charon wearing leather armor and holding his shotgun because underworld ghouls will pop up in weird places, so he was trying to run back to DC but instead caused the game to crash. (sorry for all the replies.)
Fallout 3 was my first introduction to Fallout. Still holds as my favourite Fallout game although I haven't given Fallout 1 and two enough of chance.
Two is so good if you enjoy exploring and lore. So much to do that you could never get away with now lol

New Vegas was boring to me. I think the praise it gets has more to do with obsidian making it than anything else

These fallout facts videos are my hyperfixation atm and I'm really happy about it
In the replicated man quest you can side with harkness and still get the perk wired reflexes.
1) Find Pinkerton
2) go to harkness
3) stay civil at all turns in dialog and use his recall code
4) request that he lets you kill Zimmer. Harkness will give you his plasma rifle A321to do it with.
5) tell Zimmer who he is then as soon as he gives you the perk splash him and his guard.
Best of both worlds.
This is how I always finish this quest lol
I would suggest you send this to his discord server if you really want him to see it
Yeah, but unfortunately everyone still classes Harkness as being taken by Zimmer if you do that. Also he will just stay in the market without moving 24/7. Danvers takes charge too so I just let Zimmer take him after getting the gun.
@@CDTyphol Must’ve been a glitch or you let him get too far, that’s never happened to me lol. After I waste Zimm I go tell harkness and talk about what he’ll do next, where he decides to remain the head of security at RC. He still does his daily rotation with the night chick. Done this in pretty much every playthrough I’ve ever done.

I have such a legitimately hard time going back to Fallout 3 and New Vegas after playing Fallout 4. The build mode, and the item deconstructing has ruined me.
Facts. People crap on FO4 because the dialogue options aren't as bountiful as previous entries, but they improved in different ways.

If you ever get that guy running by vault 101 again by some miracle try using vats on him, i cant imagine what that is but that might help give some insight into it
I wonder how many caps it would take to fully repair that winterized power armor at a merchant haha, even my hoarder ass would struggle to pay for such a miracle of science!

Fortunately it's HP is so bloody high that repairing it is never necessary. He'll its HP is so high the first time I got my hands on it I thought it was invincible. Took me over 100 play hours wearing it to even notice the tiniest dent in its condition and realized it was just Bethesda magic working in my favor lol
For the t-rex skeleton in point lookout my guess would be that its a reference to one model of a lever action rifle being classified as suitable for hunting a t-rex
the same lever action rifle was used in one of the Jurrasic Park movies for that exact reason
You can actually get harkness’ plasma rifle AND the perk from Zimmerman. Just go to harkness and confess everything to him, but ask to kill Zimm yourself. Then when you go to Zimm, tell him that harkness is the android, then waste him as he walks away after giving you the upgrade. Boom, winner winner

Useless info: If you look at the couplers on the many metro trains, you'll notice that they're turned 90 degrees vertical, and as a result of that, would be impossible to actually use as a railway coupling. this is because if the train took a curve, the couplings would simply slide apart.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but the fact at 14:20 was suppose to have an explanation as to why the Gary clone got there in the first place. In the cut content of Operation Anchorage, there was going to a holotape that depicted an Outcast interrogating the clone. To make a long story short, the conversation between the two was "brief", to say the least, seeing that Gary was only able to say his name which ended in him losing his arm.
I’ve honestly come to love Fallout 3 over the past year or so.
I played it when it first came out. My first real truly next generation game experience. It felt like the possibilies were endless

Had a different glitch happen last night while playing. Hannibal and his crew showed up to the metro exit, went to another metro entrance and continues to walk is a cirlce between extis and entrances for 4 in game days before continuing with the quest

You can get both rewards and still get the good ending of that quest:
1. Progress until you know the identity of the android by speaking to Pinkerton
2. Go to Harkness but save before talking to him just in case.
3. Tell him everything about it, use the override code to make him remember he's an Android
4. Offer Harkness to kill the bad guy, he will give you his unique plasma rifle (the good Karma reward) plus you'll get some positive Karma.
5. At this point the quest ends but go straight to the bad guy and talk to him, telling him you found the android.
6. Perk (bad Karma reward) received plus some negative Karma as well, then immediately kill him and his bodyguard.
Good ending and both rewards achieved.
this game and new vegas are both masterpiece games
Also, in the place where the player was born you can find the gene projecter tucked in the ceiling

I don't hold a lot of Fallout 3 faults against it because of the age and it's Bethesda but what Obsidian did in 18 months is remarkable and every inch of new vegas has life unlike 3 where half the map is nothing.

Its weird I decide to start playing Fallout 3 again a couple days ago after all these years and RUclips suggests this video.
Fallout has to be my top 5 games of all time and constantly rewatch these and even put these on to fall asleep too
My favorite bug in my game, every time I fast travel to raven rock(after finishing it) there is a very good chance that 3 enclave soldiers spawn, with enough hp to die to a single shot from the .32 pistol. Garaunteed I'd be using enclave gear

Some people don't get the wired reflexes perk? They're crazy. There's no reason not to tell Harkness you'll take care of Zimmer to get his plasma rifle, then turn him into Zimmer to get the perk, and then cap Zimmer's ass.

I was going through and exploring the wasteland and stealing everything to sell to Moira for easy caps and I walked in and walked over to the end of the row of boxes and set off the pressure Plate and about shit myself with the explosion cause I wasn’t aware I set off a pressure plate. I thought i got shot!

Really, as much research as you do, you can get Harknes's plasma rifle and the perk. Wake Harkness up tell him about Zimmer tell him you want to kill him. Turn in Harkness, and after you receive the perk, kill him.
The rat races and the baseball raiders are two examples of what made fallout 3 special.
Some of my favorite encounters and locations are
Tenpenny Tower, Wasteland Survival Guide, Tinker Joe, Rockopolis, The Mall, Baseball raider and Rat race. A playthrough for me is never complete until I collect every single unique weapon and armor.
Rockopolis is my go to hang out spot/player home in fo3. When i first played the game as a kid i was so shocked when i found it lol. Thought it was a hidden easter egg
Tenpenny tower was my favorite I think! I love releasing the ghouls on those pricks
Actually, what is special about Fallout 3 is that it is the most dogshit of the fallout games. Yes, I'm including that Brotherhood of Steel game in that estimation.

Had all my water people start dying randomly or despawning. I’m not aware that aqua pura kills them or sets off some karma failsafe making sure you don’t abuse giving them water, seems like a bug knowing fallout 3. Saved/loaded in front of Staley at Point Lookout and he leaned off the wall reversed into the void so I wouldn’t be surprised
These are great to fall asleep to, and then I can pick back up where I drifted off the next night

because argyle is pre-war, which means nearly 2 centuries after the world ended this poor rotting corpse of a man found someone with a thing for necrophilia or a fellow ghoul and herbert just swoops in and steals her.

I like to think fallout and elder scrolls are the same universe just in different points of time . fallout came first and then millions of years later when technology finally dies out and the radiation has mutated and evolved life in new ways, Harold(tree ghoul) first sprigging, geckos evolve to dragons and brotherhood armour looks like the dwarven centurions. Just fun to think about.
This one is gonna sound crazy but .I had something similar happen with the guy running out of vault 101 but this was just north of primm in Vegas where the centaurs and mutant is ,well the mutants ,WERENT mutants ,it was a silver box caged power armor like, character using a mini gun ,he insta killed me and I never seen him again, I went back to the area numerous of times reloading saves ,this was vanilla Vegas ,never played with mods ,and nothing
I just got the missile launcher by dropping a lot of 5mm in a pile so stacking isn't necessary
