Well i usually manage to take some great photos with my 64 mp A71, as long as its bright outside, in darkness however.. well it sucks, i guess its mainly because processing cant keep up with that huge pixel count and spits out grainy garbage instead. Pixel count matters, but mainly in ideal conditions, i find that lower megapixel cameras handle special scenarios better, i use my old iphone se for dark photography and to photograph my phones, its just better at those situations, more pixel perfect, but for most normal situations 64 mp rules supreme.

In India original ( not reused ) s9 price has dropped to 245 dollars So i will go for s9 Because: It is a flagship phone, - so it has high durability and flagship features - Samsung "S" series - heart rate and iris scanner sensor - curved display - wireless charging - water resistant - flagship camera - premium looks - best display - and it is more cheaper So I am going for Samsung S9 😍😍

@@yashbingo2283 Doesn't mean the battery is bad. I have one and although it is strict with management, battery life is nowhere near bad. I've seen worse. Even that, slap on the Medium Battery Saving you'll end the day with 30%. Usage varies. I am kind of a heavy user and I get to the end of the day.
So some food for thought here, I'm "upgrading" from an S9 to the A51 as we speak for 2 massive reasons. 1. Battery Life. My S9 hasn't made it a full day under (what I would call) regular use in months. Not only was the battery never great to begin with, but I noticed a very clear decline in battery life after about 2 months. Don't get me wrong, the thing's a powerhouse and looks really cool, but, I need it to be a phone more than a super computer or game console. I have an on call job, and I spend most of my afternoons/evenings worrying about making it home in time to get it on the charger. 2. Durability. Now I will be the first to tell you that I'm HARD on phones. I've never had a phone that I didn't cause serious damage. But with that being said, the goddamn infinity edge is this phone's Achilles Heel. I've broken the screen (and I mean BROKEN, full display distortion and liquid crystal splotches) three times in one year with an OtterBox Defender and a tempered glass screen protector. The shape of the sides predispose the screen to so much more contact than a standard flat front screen would. So, in short, yes obviously the S9 offers better performance in terms of technical beef. However, it's a bit of a moot point when you can't use it without accepting that your phone will be dead by 3:30. Furthermore, yes, the display looks great, but when it's always breaking, again, moot point.
Upgraded from a Galaxy S4 to A51.. main reason is that on the S4 Google Maps freezes with all the maps upgrades, actually battery life isn't a problem since the battery is easily swappable S4, it's small easily carrying extra with me.. The technica processor specs on the A51 similar to S8, it's still a better phone than my S4 and it was only $200.. unfortunately it's Pink.
Alex Butler you should go for the a71 as it is much better processor and better specs. You can get it renewed or brand new. The a71 would be better in my case.

Well this is only true in US probably. In EU s9 is still 500-600 euro. same as S10 actually. Thats almost one month's worth of the base salary in Greece.
I am still using s9 and it's a damn good phone. Between these two u should defenitely choose s9. BUT if u want my opinion, just add some more bucks and buy the s10e. You will thank me later.
If your thinking of getting a s9 you are better of getting the lg g7 which comes with similar specs like the snapdragon 845 for less than half of the price of the s9 and has some of the best speakers I've heard on any smartphone
So the S9 was released in March 2018. The A51 in Dec. 2019. Of course, the battery in the A51, which people will likely buy new, will be better than the S9, that has been used for two years.

I'm watching this on my note 8 thinking about getting the A71 because of the battery life on the note 8. For my use I always have to charge in the middle of the day.
The S9 goes for at least $350 in good shape in my country... everything under $300 is listed as "in bad shape but still functional" and that's not what I want from a phone it's why I chose the A51, only gonna use it for a year anyway
I think the S9 is better overall the only thing better on the A51 is the battery and screen size. Everything else is better on the S9, specs, camera, design, durability, ip68, wireless charging, screen resolution, and the little flagship things that make a phone a flagship (vibration motor fans)
I am afraid to buy the s9 coz if i use it for around 2 years he wil be very old but i now he has better specs. Someone help me and give me a good advice. I have been usin galaxy j4core (2018) for 1 year and i don't think that a51 will be a bad choice. Pls help me
Go for the latest A51, don't fall yourself in the trap of two year old flagship, samsung knowing lowered the price of S9 as they know there will no longer be much support for the S9 in coming months, although S9 have some great perks like Ip68 and wireless charging which are on personal preference, a lot of people complain about A series in-display fingerprint scanner to be very slow, but I'm using Samsung A50s and it's scanner is very much fast, same will be the case with A51 for sure, go for the A51 which will also ensure the new Android update too, i repeat, don't fall in the trap of OLD FLAGSHIP ✌️
@@keligaming2285 none of the phone is cheap bro, it only depends on the needs of user, some are satisfied by mid-rangers whereas some don't even get satisfied with their $1000 flagships, it's depends completely on the user's need
one thing no video can tell you is the flagship feel :) A51 cannot have it. and the camera on the s9 is still super good. probably the best camera on any phone from 2009 (with all the updates that came)
um power wise the a51 is no better than the galaxy s7 from 2016... so uh, yeah. lol you can go with a 100 dollar s7 and be fine. Just get a like new one with no screen issues. Otherwise even an s8 let alone s9 is a better value.
A51 wins ( hear me out) it will be better condition as it's brand new, more ram ,real world performance not really noticeable(I run cod mobile on highest graphics perfectly on a51 to) , better design, better battery, life and bigger screen , I have the a51 and display is breathtaking to , and even tho its a plastic build it still looks and feels like metal and glass won't notice it's plastic, my best friend has the s9 and while display is still excellent like the a51, the s9 is much more bulky feeling and battery is not too good Imo the display are almost the same no difference noticeable, I tried the a51 be4 buying and I tried my friends s9 and so I am not being biased I genuinely think the a51 is better if I fought the s9 was better than I would of just bought it as it's cheaper (refurbished) Also looking at a51 water test and my experience with rain and water it has some secret ip rating atleast splash resistants The only reason to get the s9 would be for wireless charging Some points to take in is that my a51 is the 6gb of ram version and s9 I compared it to is the exynos version, so I have no experience with the snapdragon s9. (One other plus side of the a51 is every single person I know thinks I have an s20 and it feels good😂😂)
S9 is a better phone in every way. The damn screen supports HDR10 the A51 is a basic amoLED screen in comparison. S9 camera has a variable aperture between 1.5 to 2.4. The problem with the A51 is the 48 MP camera does not let in a lot of light per pixel. So you are going to get pictures with color aberration and some distortion if there isnt any post processing. You really think a lesser phone that is not a flagship is going to have a decent camera? Geez your whole explanation was wack. Its a good phone for the price but the S9/S10 and S20 are flag ship premium phones so they will have the better specs even for being older models

anyone knows if the Ultra Volume app disables the action to take photos using the volume rocker while using a camera app?
The fingerprint on the a51 works but you just gotta press it hard its technology is different.
Love from Pluto 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Just a quick query, I'm way behind,
I have an A3..😂😂
Is it easy to transfer all my photos, when I upgrade to either of these phones?
I think 4 me, my preference is the A51, simply because I'm used to good battery life on my phone..My 4yo phone still lasts me half a day in between charges..
Yes bro
U will need go log in ur gmail then it will ask if u want to copy the stuff u had in ur old phone
Will u be able to activate gesture mode on an s9?
Yes
Yup, no doubt. BUT.. you gotta keep the default Launcher
Im a flagship kind of guy, loved my s9 almost didnt swap out, but now im in an s20+
Bro reduce the amount of ads bro it's freaking annoying , watching this video has to go through 4 ads
Use a different yt app them
Really.
Bruv he has the rights to put those ads, he worked his time to make this video for you for *free* and you start complaining on ads that gives them money to keep making videos -_-
Well this is only true in US probably.
More bucks? bruh the s9 is 349.99 maximum and the s10e is 599.99 minimum. That's not just as few more bucks.
It's like comparing an older Boeing 747 and a newer 737
The 747 is older but still better
You're talking like everyone knows airplanes
Is a51 better than s9 plus?????
Can you do a similar video with the a71 and s10/s10+?
There aint a comparison between those two. S10 is way better.
S9 wallpaper please ? Anybody ? Where to get ? Or name ?
Google it.
And he's not saying about feel which you get when holding solid s9
I have the same phone S9 and the same color but with 256 GB storage Unfortunately there is
No more phones smaller than 6 inch and with headphone jack
So. Many. People. Requested this video, so here you go! 😊 What phone is the winner here, S9 or A51?

Samsung Galaxy S9 (Cheapest on Amazon): geni.us/71JI
S9 (Unlocked): geni.us/skuEV
S9 (Carrier Version): geni.us/wT5RG
Samsung Galaxy A51: techdaily.deals/A51deals
Samsung Galaxy A51 (Amazon): geni.us/7T0Yp
I'm watching this on my note 8 thinking about getting the A71 because of the battery life on the note 8. For my use I always have to charge in the middle of the day.
that almost seems like a side grade since you have some trade-offs. i' urge holding out until the note 20 is released then pick up a note 10+
@@jg14gerhard_bar I think that's a good idea since the new note is coming out in a couple of months the note 10 will go down in price.
The S9 goes for at least $350 in good shape in my country... everything under $300 is listed as "in bad shape but still functional" and that's not what I want from a phone
it's why I chose the A51, only gonna use it for a year anyway
Can s9 last till end 2021 or beginning 2022 ?
Doubt it, most Android's last maybe 2 years
I think the S9 is better overall the only thing better on the A51 is the battery and screen size. Everything else is better on the S9, specs, camera, design, durability, ip68, wireless charging, screen resolution, and the little flagship things that make a phone a flagship (vibration motor fans)
Once a flagship it's a flagship
@@im.animesh_ thnx bro for your advice. For sure i will go for a51 he will be very good phone for me coz i have been using a cheap phone
@@keligaming2285 none of the phone is cheap bro, it only depends on the needs of user, some are satisfied by mid-rangers whereas some don't even get satisfied with their $1000 flagships, it's depends completely on the user's need
Go with A71 trust me you won't be dissapointed or the S10e, they both have reasonable price and a very good specs hope that helps
@@im.animesh_ Yes Im a A50s user too and the finger print has improved a lot after getting the Android 10 and One UI 2.0
Great video dude
Thanks so much! 👍
The s9 is better but only disadvantage is the battery and that you won't have a new software updates for the long time as you could have on a71.
Who else is watching on their S9 😅😅😅
Can you do comparison between Samsung galaxy note 8 and galaxy galaxy A 52
I have to turn my s9’s resolution down to 720p just to get almost a days battery out of it. Battery is awful after a year or so of use.
I'm just watching the s9 drop in battery percentage in between your shots, that already says a lot.
Not even a tough comparison. The s9 still destroys it. That exynos chip in the a51 ain't shit.
Watching it with my s6 edge a 5 yrs old flagship 😯😍
Jokes on you pal because edge started on S7
@@TheLadiesman180 no the s6 had an edge version as well lol
TheLadiesman180 ur an idiot lol
I'll take whichever has the longest battery life.
Where can i buy s9?
"metal and aluminum"
You're calling the A51 "midrange" and then a short time later it's "budget." Which one??
Plz do a video on old flagship camera vs current midrangers
one thing no video can tell you is the flagship feel :) A51 cannot have it. and the camera on the s9 is still super good. probably the best camera on any phone from 2009 (with all the updates that came)
I love how he compare a flagship phone before and a mid-range today...of course there's a lot of differece..
The Galaxy S9 has Live Focus feature on its back camera?
S9 plus has
Yes
I use an S9, excellent but the battery is the pits.
s9+ giving me consistent 6-7 hr SOT
@@sunnyjat97 Yes the plus has a bigger battery.
yes.. but i have Exynos unit ... Snapdragon must do even better
@@sunnyjat97 Mine is also Exynos. Snapdragon is the better chipset.
How much the sot on your s9?
um power wise the a51 is no better than the galaxy s7 from 2016... so uh, yeah. lol you can go with a 100 dollar s7 and be fine. Just get a like new one with no screen issues. Otherwise even an s8 let alone s9 is a better value.
Facts
Nice explaination bro
A51 wins ( hear me out)
it will be better condition as it's brand new, more ram ,real world performance not really noticeable(I run cod mobile on highest graphics perfectly on a51 to) , better design, better battery, life and bigger screen ,
I have the a51 and display is breathtaking to , and even tho its a plastic build it still looks and feels like metal and glass won't notice it's plastic, my best friend has the s9 and while display is still excellent like the a51, the s9 is much more bulky feeling and battery is not too good
Imo the display are almost the same no difference noticeable,
I tried the a51 be4 buying and I tried my friends s9 and so I am not being biased I genuinely think the a51 is better if I fought the s9 was better than I would of just bought it as it's cheaper (refurbished)
Also looking at a51 water test and my experience with rain and water it has some secret ip rating atleast splash resistants
The only reason to get the s9 would be for wireless charging
Some points to take in is that my a51 is the 6gb of ram version and s9 I compared it to is the exynos version, so I have no experience with the snapdragon s9.
@@superroboted🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ I don't know why your saying my points are wack when it was mostly my personal experiences and you are wrong, you don't know much about phones ,the a51 is not basic amoled it is super amoled and saying the s9 is better in every way is completely wrong, I only need to mention the battery life to prove you wrong on that ruclips.net/video/mKr4DhJ6B3g/видео.html
This is a camera comparison personally I like the video on the a51 better ,although I am liking the s9 photos a bit more
Both great cameras
As I sed you will not notice a big enough difference in performance to justify buying a used phone with smaller battery life and outdated look,
Also look at there displays side by side won't notice a difference.
@@takeit3255 ignore the trolls.
They seem obsessed with "flagship' phones and troll everything else.
@@consciousgentile5141 yea I will, appreciate it ,dude probably angry he spent over 1k on a phone when it was launched 🤣
@@Codyslx wrong again another person who knows nothing about phones , super amoled is not the same as basic amoled, super amoled has 20% brighter screen, 20% lower power consumption 80% less sunlight reflection
Also the s20 ultra has the curved screen and big camera
The s20 and s20 plus have almost the same screen and camera as a51
And as for speed well look at this comparison dude s20 is only seconds faster in real world use
ruclips.net/video/04L3Axhwrqc/видео.html
My a51 never lags feels fast and snappy ur one must be either made up to suit your point or just bad WiFi connection.
Try the s9 if you are a Samsung fan as for me I would go with mi note 10 lite
