      Thanks. My first stab at any air stuff. St. Louis roads will be brutal on it. I’ll update if it was worth while.

    So these are just air lift shocks that are used over air bags? If so, that’s pretty simple so save from having to weld in extra mounts. Any idea how the ride quality is yet?

    • @vdub618
      @vdub618  3 года назад +1

      Ride quality isn't bad with 30-40 PSI the more air the stiffer it is. On the front end of VW bugs I've looked at Airkewld and many others and they all have a air shock option I just did my own thing and it works really well. It's not fast up like air bags but it odes the trick.

    Can you tell me what fittings you used and bought from Amazon to change the fittings from 1/8 to 1/4? As well as the fitting you used to connect to the fittings coming out of the shock, looks like an L angle fitting. Thanks

    Where in the fuse box is it wired to?

    • @vdub618
      @vdub618  3 года назад

      I really need to get an update up but haven’t had time. It’s currently wired in with the wipers but a new fuse box and wiring cleanup is next up and it will probably be moved then.

    I bought some air shocks & this same kit for my Impala. You think I can hook up the compressor to an air tank? My thought behind that idea is so the compressor doesn’t have to turn on every time I want to add air.
