    Great video! One question. There's 2 red wires going into the pressure switch on the one side... What's the second red wire?

    • @x2industries
      @x2industries  5 месяцев назад

      This system has two compressors, so the second red wire activates a second relay which in turn powers the second compressor.

    A rating of 30/40 means the relay can handle a load of 30 amps on the Normally closed contacts (30 to 87a) and 40 amps on the Normally Open contacts. (30 to 87). most compressors us 40 amp.

      Thanks for the copy, we don't use the center closed circuit 30 amp pin for air suspension.
      Compressor pressure switch wiring only uses the 40 amp open side hence why we trim the center wire which I believe is 87a.

    This is a confusing video to be honest. I’m wiring one of your systems and I’m working with two relays. The install of the hardware is easy it’s all the wiring that’s so confusing with your system. Oh yeah that’s me asking for help. Thanks.

    1 goes to relay RED
    1 goes to the BATTERY ?????

    I have everything wired up but i think i may have done something wrong. Once i hook up my battery the compressor turns on, even if my key isnt in the ignition

    • @x2salesdepartment662

      This is likely due to the pressure switch being wired directly to the battery instead of a keyed on connection...

    I got questions sir. So I have 2 compressor 444valve.. So I need 2 relay right?
    The question is what are suggest, do I have to take 2 cable to the battery from every relay. Or i can just use fuse 60 amp 2 way and then 1 cable to the battery
    Hope ur answer I'm struggling with this two things
    Sorry for the bad English I'm trying my best🙏

      Hello, you can do either way. If you want to use a larger 4 or 6 gauge wire and split off then that is ok,. It is also OK to run 2 separate power wires. If you are using two compressors then two relays would be needed.

    What wire gauge did you use for all this?

    • @x2industries
      @x2industries  2 года назад

      There are two diffrent gauge wires, the pressure switch circuit is a smaller 16 - 18 gauge and the compressor wire should be 8 - 10 gauge.

      If you need it quick you should be able to pickup a standard 40 amp relay from a local auto parts store.
      Use one relay per compressor so you don't over draw your relay circuit amperage.

    • @x2industries
      @x2industries  4 года назад

      It depends on the compressor, we include a 30-40 amp for initial turn on spike amperage. You should be good with the same type of rating in a fuse as well.

    Does the relay click when connected to the pressure switch and good ground? In most cases the pressure switch goes bad, not usually the relay. You can test the relay by connecting 85 & 86 pins to +12 and ground (it should click) and turn on the compressor. It is not polarized so it does not matter which pins connect to which. This bypasses the pressure switch. Hope that helps.

      My compressor stopped kicking on this morning it is connected to a switch first time I've owned a vehicle on air ride with a switch for the compressor I've always connected straight to the battery what could be the issue or how would I go about fixing it.

    • @x2industries
      @x2industries  4 года назад

      @@classic9147 have you tried to bypass the switch by tieing the two wires together? Does this switch connect to a pressure switch in the tank and then to a relay or is it just a switch in the circuit? To elevate any issues with the compressor, you can take a hot 12 volt lead and touch it to the power input on you compressor to see if it will power up, if not then it's most likely a worn out brush or armature in the compressor and likely need a new compressor.
