Great video! One question. There's 2 red wires going into the pressure switch on the one side... What's the second red wire?
This system has two compressors, so the second red wire activates a second relay which in turn powers the second compressor.
My left side will air up but it won't deflate all the other switches work can't figure I out
This could be due to a stuck valve if you are hearing a click or it may be the wiring if there is no valve click when the switch is activated. I hope this helps. I would start by listening closely to the valve body once you trigger that wheel to deflate.
It would have been better if you narrated the video.
what happen if you dont use a pressure switch?
Comps would stay running.. it's just an on and off pressure sensor.
@@x2industries would the compressors get burned up if your going over the maximun psi (200psi)
@@streetclasscc5189 they will not burn up immediately, it will be pushing the compressors max pressure / duty cycle which means if ran at that rate for too long can and will cause the compressors to generate too much heat which in turn will compromise the output and or cause premature failure.
if you have a second compressor do you need 2 reallays ? amd 2 complete set of those wire ?
just saw the image you posted bellow tks for that !
@@HiFiP you can use one relay if it is large enough to handle the current of two compressors. The main power line will also need to be able to handle 2 x the current.
@@x2industries yeah I saw that ! I watched a guy video and he was saying 80 amps should be good
What wire gauge did you use for all this?
There are two diffrent gauge wires, the pressure switch circuit is a smaller 16 - 18 gauge and the compressor wire should be 8 - 10 gauge.
The wire that runs to the compressor will be pos correct
Yes, a positive will run from battery to relay then to your compressor.
Nothing better than getting air management/compressor wiring tutorial from Jeff Goldblum
I got questions sir. So I have 2 compressor 444valve.. So I need 2 relay right? The question is what are suggest, do I have to take 2 cable to the battery from every relay. Or i can just use fuse 60 amp 2 way and then 1 cable to the battery Hope ur answer I'm struggling with this two things Sorry for the bad English I'm trying my best🙏
Hello, you can do either way. If you want to use a larger 4 or 6 gauge wire and split off then that is ok,. It is also OK to run 2 separate power wires. If you are using two compressors then two relays would be needed.
www.x2industries.com/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/2018/07/dual-compressor-circuit-wiring.jpg
@@x2industries very confusing.the pressure switch turns the power on & off to fill the tanks, bags, diff. why you need a manual switch.?.my comp needs to be on,all the time, the pressure switch controls when on/off. i need a relay so it doesnt burn out, like the last 5,. this vid does not show or help..i have 3 tanks, 15 gallon, for tires ect. a power tank would be better, but illegal in aus..stupid..
@@harrywalker5836 here is the wiring diagram if that helps: www.x2industries.com/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/2018/07/dual-compressor-circuit-wiring.jpg
So it’s 2 side of pressure switch rite ? 1 goes to relay RED 1 goes to the BATTERY ?????
Where can I get this relay
www.x2industries.com/product/40amp-heavy-duty-relay/ If you need it quick you should be able to pickup a standard 40 amp relay from a local auto parts store. Use one relay per compressor so you don't over draw your relay circuit amperage.
Thanks Man, perfect video content and length, straight too the point and exactly what I needed to know.
A rating of 30/40 means the relay can handle a load of 30 amps on the Normally closed contacts (30 to 87a) and 40 amps on the Normally Open contacts. (30 to 87). most compressors us 40 amp.
Thanks for the copy, we don't use the center closed circuit 30 amp pin for air suspension. Compressor pressure switch wiring only uses the 40 amp open side hence why we trim the center wire which I believe is 87a.
I want to install my gauge but i dont know how to install de sensors
Sorry you are having trouble.. I think the following document will help with installing our sensors into the VU4 manifold... www.x2industries.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/VALVE-SENSOR-WIRING-VU4-VALVE-DIGITAL-5Z-GAUGE.jpg
@@x2industries thank youuuuu
I have everything wired up but i think i may have done something wrong. Once i hook up my battery the compressor turns on, even if my key isnt in the ignition
This is likely due to the pressure switch being wired directly to the battery instead of a keyed on connection... If you would like a dual compressor wiring diagram, you could check out the link below: www.x2industries.com/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/2018/07/dual-compressor-circuit-wiring.jpg
Thanks for posting! Awesome video! My front right was stuck dump and i quickly and simply fixed it and never removed the block from the car
This is a confusing video to be honest. I’m wiring one of your systems and I’m working with two relays. The install of the hardware is easy it’s all the wiring that’s so confusing with your system. Oh yeah that’s me asking for help. Thanks.
Sorry about that.. This document may help a bit more.. www.x2industries.com/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/2018/07/dual-compressor-circuit-wiring.jpg
The 8 popits if 2 go bad do i have to change them all?
No it is not necessary to replace all the valve plugs.. Just the ones that are having the issues.. But many times it is not the plug but the surface that the valve plug sits on.. Be sure to check for debris in the valve channels and check the plug contact surface and well as the rubber end of the plug. I hope this helps,
Well, I can say with absolute certainty that this is not an AccuAir VU4 manifold, however, the design is close enough for this process to still apply. Great job!
What size is the breaker
It depends on the compressor, we include a 30-40 amp for initial turn on spike amperage. You should be good with the same type of rating in a fuse as well.
Im running a single fire stone compressor for airbags.
@@moneymay1062 should only need 30 amps or so..
They are usually 15 to 20 amp consistent, so 30amps should cover the cold start spike.
The pin that goes into the air solenoid that controls the rear air level springs on my 2000 expedition broke off....how can I fix this
re pin it or solder direct temporarily and replace.
Thanks everything kicks on my system bags go up automatically but not by my switches my switches stop shooting air in my bags but my switch will fill up the bags then I turn it off with the kind of switch you have in your hand why my box switches not giving air to my bags
Form the wiring lines which one is the positive wire on the block
The valve block has 2 black wires centered on the top of the connector, all other 8 wires are +12 volt valve triggers. 2 per corner, 1 fill, 1 dump. You can take a positive test lead to check function.
Hello. Can you tell me please what is ac 1 ac2 and ac3. I have no manuel includet.
Are those the wires going into the power connector? Red, white, and yellow wire?
@@x2industries yes red on + black on - and yellow on switching+ white is Illumination.
@@gordong6792 tie the red, white, and yellow together and connect to +12. This will get you running.
@@x2industries i know. It is working. This is not the problem. My problem ist how can i do the settings for warning. I can change the color and psi to bar. But what can i do with AC.1 AC.2 and AC.3 ???
@@gordong6792 ac1, ac2, ac3 is diffrent startup routines.
Does the relay click when connected to the pressure switch and good ground? In most cases the pressure switch goes bad, not usually the relay. You can test the relay by connecting 85 & 86 pins to +12 and ground (it should click) and turn on the compressor. It is not polarized so it does not matter which pins connect to which. This bypasses the pressure switch. Hope that helps.
My compressor stopped kicking on this morning it is connected to a switch first time I've owned a vehicle on air ride with a switch for the compressor I've always connected straight to the battery what could be the issue or how would I go about fixing it.
@@classic9147 have you tried to bypass the switch by tieing the two wires together? Does this switch connect to a pressure switch in the tank and then to a relay or is it just a switch in the circuit? To elevate any issues with the compressor, you can take a hot 12 volt lead and touch it to the power input on you compressor to see if it will power up, if not then it's most likely a worn out brush or armature in the compressor and likely need a new compressor.
Bro thanks for the video,my compressor stop working I can not turn it on with the switch I have to connect direct to a battery what do you think it could be
Might be a bad relay or bad compressor.
Wich brand is this?
I can't say for sure who did make it but I can say for sure that AccuAir did not. This is very similar to a VU4 and works in the same manner but it is an imitation manifold.
Great ! It looks really good! Sustain the helpful job!
You guys should put your link in the description now I'm not going to buy the train horn from you guys
Have you installed them on your car and how did you do it?
You have to drill a hole into the handle, to feed the power wire. Be sure to use common sense as you want to hide the strips as best as possible..
Okej Thank you !
could I use a fire truck horn in place of the train horn?
how much that cost
i believe that would look good on my Yamaha Grizzly 700 lol, talkin bout huge
Nice Video
More recently, some folks are adding truck air horns (and even louder train horns that sound a small-seventh chord rather compared to major chord of vehicle horns) to their individual autos as a pastime or addition to the actual culture. I suggest you a site www.pbmissions.com/ which is really amazing for the car horns. Your video is very informative. Thanks for the video
