    Thanks for sharing!
I remember starting high school when Couldn't Have Said It Better was being promoted, was when I began searching online for rarities, stories and articles about Meat and Jim. Over the next sixteen years I would acquire most the albums, videos.
Being a kid in high school 2003, one of only two kids to wear a Bat out of Hell 2 t shirt, and the only kid to wear a homemade Steinman hooded black sweater.
Internet searches for Mr. Loaf and band to hear many performances live was rocking blessing. "Someone must have blessed us when he gave us those songs" ;)
Searching Steinman was a whole another experience.
The two men were like noone else in the music world; They were unique in a unique music world.
After hearing and reading interviews, the two men were just different people.
Fifteen years of my life focusing primarily on their magical heavy rock and opera. I barely had time for friends!, haha i was never the student who would excel in classes, but man could you ever find excellence and understanding in the music.
My fav band back than was the neverland express! Paul and Randy had played some awesome guitars over the years. And Patti always number one lady singer in Meat's band from 1993 onward. I cant come up with words at the moment for how great Mr. Sulton's contributions are. The bass on All Revved Up is a standout one of many favourites. And John 'the hammer' was hard rock as the best of them. Piano man Alexander really brought the power chords closer to the albums. But every piano and guitar gentleman did their own thing very well.

    'bout time, eh?
    We finally did it.
Couple of obvious mistakes - @5:50 'Objects', "Places he can revisit physically but never visit mentally", etc but I think we just about pulled it off.
    Enjoy!

I really appreciate the things said in this, especially how you can appreciate the humor in the songs, but also take them very seriously as a part of the story. I have always felt the same way and would listen to the songs and daydream this story of a man called Johnny and this angel called Jenny, and demons and other angels were out to get them and the story all happened in this city. I finally started writing that story almost three years ago, today, and I published it July of 2019. It's called Left In The Dark (on Amazon, if you want to look it up). That spawned another twenty books, fifteen of which are also on Amazon.
All because Jim Steinman's music built this world in my head.

So you have written this book Left in the Dark from stories you picked from Jim's songs Did you also write the next twenty then from same idea or did people jump on the idea after reading Left in the Dark I always envision movies from most of them so can see how you could easily see the same sort of things and write as stories and obviously with some amount of success as published and i am intrigued enough to risk purchasing a copy Lol ok found you on Amazon question answered Original Sin Heaven Can Wait Lol excellent I've been reading reviews and just picked this out from one of the buyers reviews (But for those who know, love, and/or worship at the altar of Steinman, the creator of some of the best music of the last half century (think Meat Loaf, Bonnie Tyler, Celine Dion, and Air Supply), the novel is a treasure trove of Steinmanisms and Easter eggs galore.
Not only is the title of the book a Steinman song, but so are most of the chapters. Snippets of lyrics and symbolism flicker at the reader from its pages, as does the aesthetic that is all Steinman: A city burns while horny angels hover and greasy motorcycles tear through the night in an effort to outrun Hell’s phantoms. But back to the tale at hand.) yep i'm sold sounds my type of thing

@@nicksantus5307 Hey! Thank you so much for your interest! The Anthemverse books follow the characters from the initial events in Left In The Dark through the years as different threats and life experiences. It started as what I'd imagine as a musical in my head, and then finally I sat down and started writing. It became so much more than just a story. 💚🔥

Reading the first chapter of 'Left in the Dark' it's obvious that you have natural rhythm. Never let anything get in between you and the rhythm. It's what they don't teach you at writing school.
Huge support for waving the banner of the independent writer!
