It is unfortunate that today's generation does not know who is Jim Steinman. It is one of the best composers in history and its influence transcends musical until today.
Ngl I feel so sorry for Jim Steinman and everyone because that was probably the worst interview they will have had for Whistle Down The Wind. Its very clear to me that Richard Madeley really didn't care at all about what they were on for and I can't believe how he treated them all with so much contempt.
So insulting, Jim Steinman has written some of best songs ever. Meat said Steinman is on a par to Lennon and McCartney. I agree with him wholeheartedly!
@@fozziebear567 I think he meant Madtube. They asked Jim Steinman what he was famous for which should have been obvious before they did the interview lol.
Too short interview, too much time spent on the actors singing and not enough on Jim Steinman. Pathetic how valuable time was wasted asking the actors questions when you had the Godfather of Wagnerian rock as your guest. A tragically missed opportunity and an utter embarrassment.
Richard and Judy thought they were Gods of tv. Their ignorance was obvious and acute. Thankfully they are off tv, and nobody worth their salt goes on that programme.
Those announcers/interviewers are absolutely STUNNED.

Well I know it .
I'm 16 years old, and just a huge fan of Steinman. Pretty well the only kid at my school who knows who he is haha
it's an honor to know him who wrote beautiful songs ♥️
RIP / QEPD Que En Paz Descanse, Un Genio que desbordaba talento!!!
Sad daytime dumb down of such a legend in rock music (Jim S)
Richard and Judy. Lame tv
hey not all of todays generation. i'm 17 and i love steinman.
kellywiggle1 and i'm 17 now, I love him too.
same even though I'm 15.
With ya there. 16 years old, and he's gotta be my favorite song writer
Do you all want a reward or smth or are you just gonna keep boasting?
@@YAMMAS no, just letting old people know that the younger generation appreciate things that came before them.
Genius

Jimmy always was nutty as a fruit cake - bless him.
These people should research their guests before they interview them. They ask the most silly questions and end up looking ignorant!
Madtube just asked Jim Steinman what he was famous for. Dear God In Heaven than man is a joke

nice to see, though!!
Peel out baby

That is the worst rendition of Tire Track you could possible make. Ever... eww, truly terrible.
What a god awful interview xD
