- Based on some art I made last year, I decided to try a new type of What if Mini. After sacrificing himself against Majin Buu, Vegeta faces his past in the form of Raditz, Nappa, King Vegeta, and a Saiyan named Bardock. What will happen when Vegeta arrives to Hell to meet them? This was a great one off story idea
Do what if bardock trained with king Kai
here's an idea for a short what if:
what if beerus went to namek to wish earth to be placed on his realm??, so he doesn't have to take a long trip to get food
This made me realize how similar Bardock and Vegeta in this point of the story are they were both originally what was expected of a average saiyan but as time passed they both grew and changed, both found love had kids and began to soften up and become better people and in the end they both perished the same way sending there kid off to live another day and preparing to battle an enemy they know they can not defeat but they still fight anyways to repent for the harm they’ve caused and in the end both perished thinking of Kakarot in there last moments, no wonder they my two favorites, great what if mini
You know this does bring up a concept where we have bardock helping guide young Vegeta rather than Nappa.

I love this format! I like the more character driven narrative. It really makes you feel engaged with the story.
Definitely some interesting well-detailed filler; you should do one about Goku (while he was dead for 7 years) meeting his mother, Gine, in Other World during the 7-year timeskip.
I have a few planned with the timeskip!

It would contradict Grahnola arc though, as Goku clearly didn't know his parent until that arc.
He could probably play around this by having Gine never reveal who she is once she notices that Goku doesn’t know who she is, simply being happy that her child was a good soul and lived a goodness life.
@@MinhLe19303 That arc hasn't been adapted into anime form yet (since anime is main focus instead of manga), so that argument's kind of hearsay; besides, given how Goku's portrayal in Super's been (being a forgetful clown and having his previous character development destroyed as a result of Akira Toriyama's airheaded forgetfulness) he could easily be reminded of it after forgetting it.
Character development in this one is huge it’s so satisfying
Meanwhile, Frieza is in a Disneyland version of Hell.
Well we actually don’t know if he was, we can presume but no statement made on that. Now after he died to Blue Goku yeah he was

This format for the Minis is definitely the way to go! I love seeing more character focused what ifs like Masako so seeing yo do it as well is awesome!
I love how it feels like you can continue it into its own what if...like after meeting them again, he tries to bring them back to life

Nice what if but one thing that you should’ve mentioned was how Vegeta found out about Goku’s SSJ3 form in Hell before he got brought back
i LOVE this!!!! Makes me wish it was a longer series with them coming back but this shortness is beautiful in its own way.
Wow. Just wow. I absolutely loved this short scenario! It felt so focused on the thoughts and feelings of one character, it was a really nice difference from the normal scenario.
These are new ideas but it’s being made and adapted to salads ideas and storytelling so it’s amazing.

I think this story could continue, but I don't know how different it could be from the original. Vegeta could request to visit hell from time to time.
I think this will be a good device to use if you're experiencing some form of writer's block, or some other reason that delays more long form or regular series. I enjoyed the interactions, though my thoughts would be that Nappa and Raditz wouldn't get on, other than their hatred for Vegeta. Good work.

Nice, that was somewhat wholesome, maybe next time Goten and Trunks and visit the saiyans, maybe they can find their own way of life to power by meeting Bardock and King Vegeta, also it was nice to see Nappa and Raditz as super saiyans, Raditz had a new render.
Love the thumbnail art, and feel like this is something Vegeta would do after his time in other world
Fun fact: Nappa can turn Super Saiyan in Xenoverse 2.

I loved this new format, its short and sweet. Although i feel like this one could maybe change the course of the story a bit, since i feel like vegeta would revive bardock and maybe raditz too. Still this was great, hoping to see more of these.

Overall, a fun little tangent. But you seem to have forgotten that Vegeta learned about Goku hiding his SS3 power during their battle.

I loved this, although i was hoping that vegeta and the saiyans would see goku goes ssj3 and their reaction since that the reason vegeta rejected the fusion was becauss he realized goku hid his true power from him

Vegeta finally meets the brilliant scientist who when they ran into some radical weaponry on Rygol 7 and things were looking grim until he did this. Your father was an average fighter Kakarot, but he was a brilliant scientist! Who else but him thought of creating an energy source that perfectly simulated full moonlight?
I can see this being a great continuation big picture potential speaking wise at least for the after Moro/ Granola arc, this can have his self worth as a Saiyan be resolved ahead of time while he is training with Beerus/ while on planet Cereal which could lead towards him adapting to and growing with the ultra ego form earlier, to what degree and how it would be conveyed would be for you to entice us with!!

this little glimpse into a small moment that canon is unlikely to ever explore, but that practically could slot in as anime filler if nothing else is nice to see.
Was the "King Yemma letting you keep your body" thing retconned or no? Because Frieza, King Cold, Babidi, Cell ect. had their bodies, didn't they or was that non-canon?
Edit: I just read up on some stuff, apparently all of the "hell scenes" were either filler or non-canon. I'm assuming that the villains don't keep their body, it's just that they're drawn the same so we can recognize them as for who they are?

I was looking through your playlist and I noticed that you haven’t done one about freeza which is surprising considering that you did a video on if Gohan trined like Goku and considering that it took 4 mounth a of just beating someone up for him to match Goku and a decade of him training and fighting foes I find that surprising as he very well could have the most potential
I'd love to see/hear how this continues
If you decide to run with this idea into a full series, how about when Vegeta died in the Namek arc before being brought back? Bardock having SS and dealing with some of these themes would impact him maybe even drive him to bring back the Saiyan race.

Vegeta probably could have washed SSJ Nappa and Raditz without transforming if they're as powerful as Goku was when he fought Frieza.

Maybe a short adventure with Krillin & the Androids b4 Goku recruited 17?Gero uploaded to 17s mind or something or maybe Cell laid an egg .

This really could have led to something more. I can see this Vegeta thinking about the Sayins and at least consider bringing them back. At least make a deal with Yema to make them like his attendants but if so I’d then see them turning said offer down. Who knows maybe he’d make some deal with Baba to ring his father to meet his family
Huh? 🤔 So you're combining anime version of Hell with Super version of Hell since Frieza is not there cool. 👍 It was pretty cool seen Vegeta meeting Bardock, Nappa, Raditz, King Vegeta, and the other Saiyans while in Hell, and showing how much different Vegeta is compared to everybody else. Definitely need to more these types of stories for one-shot ideas. Anyways overall another really good one-shot what if, and looking forward to the next one soon.
What if suggestion:
What if Saiyans were in the Hellfighter 17 Saga?
(It could be kind of a sequel to this video. Where the Saiyans helps the Z-Fighters against all of the fighters breaking out of Hell.)

He taught goku the basics (he thought goku to dodge with his eyes close, even thought he didn’t have ki sense yet) of ultra instinct so if he expanded that then after accessing the form (and a few sensual beans or the dragon balls) he can work on durability and then get ui

What if they accidentally worded it "Bring back everyone killed by frieza and his soldiers" and left out the "on namek" part of the wish? That would bring back most of the Namekians, Saiyans, Nappa, Cerealians, and probably a bunch more I'm not aware of

Doubt that could happen, earths dragon balls can only bring back people who have been dead less than 10 years, and I doubt the namekians would give vegeta the dragon balls to revive the saiyans as Elder Moori would read his mind and determine that’s a bad idea
