We'll have to assume that Raditz was successful in recruiting Goku, because training with Vegeta and Broley would have led to him having a higher power than he did in the show. On the other hand because he wasn't trying to get Goku to conquer Earth, but rather avenge Planet Vegeta, Goku would have been more amenable to Raditz's demands.
Goku learning about Tarble and Broley's deaths might have convinced him to head back to Earth and summon Shenron and wish them back to life.
Possibly a lot of the story would still play out as in the R&R storyline, although with a Saiyan planet for Vegeta and the surviving Saiyans. Recognizing the power in Gohan Vegeta might even have developed a breeding program with humans just to create more powerful fighters just in case, so Vegeta x Bulma could still happen.
With his success in defeating Frieza, and lacking the bitterness from serving him for so many years, it's likely that Vegeta would actually be more personable than he is in the show too.

i think with, exception for Tarble, Raditz would be still the weak, concidering most of the other Survivers would be the best of the best the only reason for Raditz to be on there ship would be the convinience of being in Vegetas task force. He would still be tasked with the recruiting of other surviving Saiyans just because all the other Saiyans think he is worthless a fighter.
The Raditz Saga would still be as Normal, just because he wants to proof he is not as worthless as all the other Saiyans think he is.
When Vegeta arrives later on Earth he wont fight them and tell them Raditz was a fool and never tasked with conquering Earth, he was just sent to recruite Kakkarot for there rebelion against Freezer. Goku, some other Z-Fighter and Bulma (because fancy ailien technology) would go with them.
After the defeat of Freeza they go back to earth use the Dragonballs for Tarble and Broly while Vegeta invites Earth to be a Subject of the newly formed Galactic Saiyan Commonwealth,
not because he likes earth but because of the Dragonballs, the Human workforce that can help building a new Planet Vegeta and him daiting Bulma making just conquering earth and enslaiving the humans not an option.
oh and if the 24th Tenkaishi Budokai takes place after the defeat of Freeza then Mister Satan would never win the Tenkaishi Budokai because most finalists would be Saiyans

The answer lies with Radditz. Radditz has gone to Earth and talked with Goku so he knows about the Dragon Balls.

Fascinating to add Broly to this- also sounds like Raditz survives! This could lead to a part two, with Raditz learning about the Dragonballs to resurrect Tarble, and then also a non-super saiyan Goku fighting the androids with Raditz and the Princes being the strongest around instead.
Stop trying to influence him and let him tell his story.
@@theopulentone1573 he DOES take fan feedback into consideration. Just saying, nothing gets created in a vacuum and it's quite possible that he could take elements from the suggestion and find a way to expand on them in the future

That would be interesting considering Trunks physically looks more like Bulma with the exception of his eyes it's very possible he could be a fraternal twin of Goten simply having Bulma's trademark hair instead of Goku's crazy spikes.

Raditz could be relevant to this story actually. Over the scouter Vegeta hears about the dragon balls and realizes they can be used to bring back his brothers.
Also would Bardock and his squad be alive in this scenario? If Bardock is with his unit when Dodoria surprised attacked them they might have survived.
Guardian Tree That’s if that part of the two sayin stories of that story stays the same. If his squad did survive, then they’d probably all go back to vegeta to Inform Bardock (Or travel with him of Bardock followed them), where they would all get vaporized. The end.
What if Future Trunks and Mai had stayed in the main timeline?
Future Trunks participates in the TOP, means the Universe 7 team probably won't bother to resurrect Frieza. TOP goes like normal for the most part since apart from the supposed betrayal of Gohan, betraying Frost and giving Goku some energy after his debut with UI, Frieza doesn't do MUCH tournament-wise. Main difference is what happens with A. Gohan and Frieza (now Trunks) vs Dyspo, and B. Assuming the Gohan/Trunks vs. Dyspo fight has the same result as it did with Frieza, what happens when Vegeta loses to Jiren. Does he still transfer his energy to Goku, or does he transfer it to Trunks (probably Goku due to the power difference)? Also, could seeing Vegeta sacrifice himself and being reminded of the stakes (universal obliteration) propel Trunks to unlock an even higher form like it did against Black? And if so, how would it fare against Jiren? Could Goku, Trunks and Android 17 defeat Jiren?

This is actually a really interesting ending to the story. Prince Vegeta's wish could have a much more personal shift if he heard of the dragonballs. Would Goku even stop Vegeta with a wish that noble? Prince Vegeta seems like he's willing to do what he needs to, but he might walk up and take without causing too much collateral damage.

Would you do a second part to this involving Cooler? His quest for revenge here could be against Vegeta and the other surviving Sayains. Raditz's mission to find his brother could even be about a plea for help to ensure their species's survival as opposed to just recruiting him to the ranks of the Frieza Force. And with Broly gone already, it tips the balance back in Cooler's favor.

Interesting. Very interesting. I wonder what would become of vegita. Would he become more sullen and withdraw knowing his brothers fates? What would happen if he found out about the dragon balls? What would Tarble's reaction be upon finding out what hapoened? Perhaps this is worth exploring in a part two.

Masako you should keep Doing what if Broly was raised by king Vegeta
Be kind of cool if this spurred a quest for Vegeta to search for the legendary dragon balls to resurrect his brother Tarble.
Reasoning could be that there would be a new threat to the saiyans:
1. Majin Buu (released and now rampaging through the galaxy)
2. Androids (wasted earths, use spaceship to wreck havoc on other planets)
3. Resurrection of frieza (now golden)
Vegeta would need tarble to reason with his adopted brother to fight frieza again. And vegeta would have to either travel to Namek with his forces similar to frieza but with a sympathetic cause in comparison.
Vegeta has now become disconnected to that crew and events. This chapter wrapped up without anyone learning of the magical orbs.
Vegeta needs to hear about these on the galactic trail. Rumor mill will most likely lead him to Namek vs Earth. So Vegeta is still disconnected from the Z Crew. But a good way to hear a lot of things is to have a lot of ears.

This was a really cool idea and well told. I do think there could actually be a second part though since Raditz is out finding out about the dragon balls. Idk how much more you could really do in the time line that doesn't completely change the universe though
With his increased power, and knowledge from Raditz, he certainly could conquer the earth and start trying to make more sayans... though they can never be true sayans, the taint of humanity will always lie within.

I've actually been rolling over some ideas in my head, what if bra was the one who came back instead of trunks, and then another what is if Trunks and bra were twins and both came back in time. I mostly just want to see bra tease Gohan, similar to the dbza with Trunks and Bulma.

This what if seems like an area where Vegeta could definitely seek out the Dragonballs in order to revive his brothers, upon hearing of them on Earth from Raditz. Making Vegeta's original trip to earth, from a violent one, to a more somber, wholesome one.
