- Vegeta, the prince of all saiyans, has died! After Vegeta's new transformation into Majin Vegeta and sacrifice against Majin Buu, the prince finds himself in Hell! But not any hell, his own personal one. Vegeta finally meets King Vegeta, his father, after many years. King Vegeta leads him down a dark path through Hell, where the prince must confront his past!

Part 2?
I like how you made Vegeta actually get reminded of his crimes and be punished for it in a sense. That is one of the major problems that fans have had with Vegeta redemption. He doesn’t actually pay for his crimes and goes without consequence as a result. I liked how you expanded on it and more with Vegeta’s father too and made it into just that more of an interesting story.

This is something that's always bothered me too about Dragon Ball. Vegeta literally committed genocide many times throughout his life yet the Z-Fighters seem to just forgive him for that. It's so bizarre that it became a running joke between my friends and I growing up lol
@@ProfessorChimpYT The z fighters were reluctant except for Goku. But you're point still stands as I overall agree.
@@ProfessorChimpYT Honestly, that's valid. Specially in moments like the Cell saga where Vegeta actively makes the situation worse.
But he's strong so...gotta keep him around.

I like this idea of Vegeta meeting his Father while in Hell, and why his character changes for the better. Plus this idea works a short series for sure. Anyways a good start to this new series, and looking forward to the next part tomorrow.

@@stephenquinn7931 He is actually though he said it himself in the tournament, it’s even mentioned in the Cell saga after the androids beat them up.
The way every action flashed back to harm him, from him blowing the audience in the tournament to him ending a disabled Nappa, it feels in a way, cathartic. True atonement for his sins. The Namek Brawl was also legendary as Vegeta fought actually two warring sides banded together through revenge towards their murderer.
Heh, What if Goku and Vegeta kept their beards? Tldr: They become the most powerful beings in existence

While I understand the show not going into Vegeta's time in Hell since there was enough going on in the story as it is, I certainly like the idea of this being what he went through before he was sent back for another try at Majin Buu.
As it’s written thus far, this could easily have been what Vegeta experienced in hell. Very well done! 😊

This is psychological torture at its finest. But as messed up as it is, I really can't say Vegeta doesn't deserve it.
Funnily enough, this story could tie in very well with Vegeta's later development. In the Super manga he starts showing direct regret over his past actions, has accepted the fact that he'll go to hell, and admits the saiyans deserved to die.
Nice reference to Nioh 2's ending line by Toyotomi Hideyoshi (Also a poem he created and recited IRL) for Vegeta's opening line.
