I really feel your pain…I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve lost all 9 of mine, and I loved every one of them! Yesterday morning I also found my grass spider sling dead…very devastating😔🇨🇦
I know this is over 2 years old but I'm sorry you lost your friend and yeah i say friend because i have a wild caught Phidippus Audax and i have had him for 13 days so far and anytime i see him sitting in a position like your spider was in this video, i get so worried that Jack (i named him jumpin jack) might be dead and i know that when that day comes i will for sure be sad too. Jack is my first pet spider and he has really been helping me to get past my arachnophobia. Yeah I'm scared of spiders but so very fascinated by them and jumping spiders are not just spiders like some people may think. They truly all have personalities of their own and so that's why i say friend. Jack is my friend and Oreo was your friend. I just subscribed to you today thanks to this video about Oreo. He is getting you likes and got you a new subscriber from his grave. Your lil buddy is still looking out for you. 😁🕷️
I'm sorry to hear about Oreo! They're so delicate :< I had my first girl just about a month, she was an adult. She laid a clutch of eggs, and they hatched. A couple weeks later she deteriorated in a matter of a day or so and passed away. I cried. I didn't have her long, but she made me fall in love with jumping spiders. I was glad to at least have her children.
They do indeed seem to be quite delicate. I still don't know what the reason for his death was and it was a very random death as well. I'm glad you got babies though! Baby jumping spiders are adorable and so precious.
@@scorchinggoat9589 I think they have a maximum lifespan of two years although around a year is more common so yeah not very long. Only downside to these guys in my opinion
