    Just a quick update: I went to the store just to see if it can be fixed. I was told this should not be happening to the bag which is not even 6months old. It was pointed out that the stitch nearby is loose (it was like that from the beginning) and it could be a contributing factor. I was told exchange for a new is possible however pieces they had where.. well with similar or different issues, plus one had a really badly scratched gold hardware with no bottom sticker on it. So a new one is being ordered and will be send to me within 7-10 days. This is a service a did not expect,I certainly did not ask for an exchange I really hoped mine could be easily fixed (because eveything else was ok with it).Terrifying though that so many of them had some issues.
    Customer service still impressive.

      Good to know that they're offering a replacement . I got rid of mine both leather and canvas years ago and trying to stay away from the design similar to metis. There is nothing you can do about the glazing cracking around the flap as that is the part where you mainly gets the pressure from closing and opening. Thanks for the update .

    This is my favorite bag, I have it in marine. I also have the coach cassie which is the same design. That area is a set up for cracking. It has happened to my Cassie which I bought this fall. I expect my PM will eventually have issues too, but the difference is LV will fix it

    Also I sometimes I fill it up when u can because I think it looks better. But sometimes it does look a bit empty and still not bad. I love this bag

    I had the same bag and I noticed weird white spots on the glazing too, but not in the location where most of the stress on the flap is. My spots are all along the bottom of the flap near the s lock. My bag was only one year old and rarely used. They offered to replace the bag or a store credit. I opted for the credit. I’m sorry this happened to you too.

    I have the same bag and its been 5 years. What I noticed with my other lv bags is that they get dried out slowly so I think that starts causing the glazing. So what I do is keep it in the bag when not in use, and either when I use it or if I don't then I wipe it down with a wet wipe. I use baby wipes but I did read that its better to use wet wipes with no alcohol. That has helped my bag look shinier. Good luck.

    I agree I have the reverse monogram and the inside flap is kind of bending from inside 😢

    I have the reverse monogram. The glazing issues are around front and back sizes for me. Haven’t seen others post about that. Maybe ppl aren’t looking there

    I had a glazing issue on a double zip and they took the bag and fixed it for free, came out like a brand new bag.

    Hi. The glazing isn't cracking. That's how the glazing is formed on that particular area of the bag since that is primarily the functional opening and closing of the bag. Mine also looks like that. Hope this helps.

      It was not like that when I bought it and there is a clear crack, I was told by the SA it can be fixed.

      I think that when you leave the protective film on the lock, eventually dust and particles will get trapped under the film and that’ll also cause scratches. It is inevitable. I have this and the reverse monogram. It is a beautiful bag but not for me. I’m planning on selling them both.

      It is definitely not slouchy, it was pretty empty so the dent is visible.

    I have the same exact bag, bought in 2018 and i just notice the glazing has come off on the corner of the top handle 😢 i hardly even used it as i usually rotate my bag usage. I need to go to LV to have them look at it, do they fix for free?

    • @koriw
      @koriw  2 года назад

      Bags have only two years of quarantee. So within this time LV can fix it for free. After two years you can still bring it to them but they will charge for the repair.

    I am so tired of so many brands being cheaper and not lasting too long without something happening to them. Seems like coach, fossil would last longer and age nicer. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

      Exactly! You give a lot of money and you just get problems to take care of these bags😂

    I know people spend a lot of money on their bags and want to get their money’s worth. I understand that you shouldn’t have to put up with poor workmanship. I probably have quite a few scratches on the hardware of my Dior 30 montagne and if you know the bag it has a large clip on the front. I just don’t obsess with it and just enjoy it. I don’t check it at all. I don’t have a lot of money or a big collection of designer bags, I just love using it. I’m sorry you’re not happy with that bag and thanks for letting everyone know.

      You are welcome. The title says it is about the glazing issues. I hope that someone who thinks of buying it will think for a moment and perhaps restrain (that's the purpose of it, not to complain). I wouldn't like my bag to crack in several months it doesnt matter if it costs 2k or 100$. This is not a video for everyone and hardly 'everyone' will know about it. Simply do not watch and recommend or give a dislike. Have a great day!

    That will eventually happen because those are stress points

    • @koriw
      @koriw  2 года назад +1

      I would expect that and I would be fine with it after a bit longer period of time (year or two) I hoped glazing would be more durable.
