You make a great point that the black version is more formal which was why prefer the turtledove and I’m glad I got it because it goes well with all my outfits. I love a classic black bag but sometimes it gets boring lol
Agree with almost all of your points, great review. I have in black and Dove. I will say I also have both Neverfulls and they are surprisingly light.
Me again… hubby totally bought me one for Christmas, I think in the reverse (I literally just signed for it and know the shipping company 😂) - immediately came back to your video to grab those protectors!! 🎉

Nice video. Finally getting around to adding this bag to my collection and appreciated your thoughts and suggestions. Also, I completely agree about the red trim, I absolutely HATE it and given that navy is one of my main colors, it’s a real shame that they ruin a beautiful look (imho) with that stupid red highlight. I’ve also got reservations about those dividers…. Hmmm
The middle compartment is quite wide and my emptriente leather is malleable so can flex to fit bigger things, not sure if the canvas ones can do it as much. It’s a highly functional bag and I still use mine all the time!

It's definitely more of a taupe, leaning beige/light tan, not gray.

I have 2 NF in emperiente monogram leather. I don't think they're heavy. I also have the Pochette Metis in the navy with red trim. I love it. Now they vane out with the plain navy which is a bit of a different shade but beautiful 😊

The reason for the middle part of the inside is that it balances the bag. If the largest part were in the front, more items might be stored there, and it would hang more upon opening.

How is the turtle dove color for getting marks or color transfer?
So far haven’t had either of those, going over 3 years now
How is the leather in possible rain? Considering my first leather bag for LV
I haven't been in a downpour with it, but i just wipe off any water when i get to a dry place. I think for most leathers its fine to get wet, you just done want it sitting in water for an hour. The empriente leather is pretty durable!

Yes, I have had blue (jeans?) rub off, have to make sure to check at the end of the day and clean with leather conditioner if I see anything.

Are those all mechanical latches? Were any of them magnetic latches?
mechanical, not magnetic latches.
Does the back get dirty easily? Can it handle every day use and a little rough and toughness?
i did see a little color transfer the first time i wore it with jeans, but I sprayed protector and haven't see it since. Can probably handle every day use because the leather is thick and grainy. Might start to see some wear around the corners after a while.

The main thing I dislike about this bag is the fact that it looks so businesslike, and cannot transition to night, either for a casual or even a smart casual look, it's just too serious.
