I love the empreinte and reverse PM's. I love empreinte because it gives me the look of the classic monogram with the durability-flexibility of leather. (Canvas can crack in cold weather!)
My Pochette Métis in Bicolor Empreinte has the same marks on the underside of the flap and I barely got mine on November 2022. It’s because it touches the top part of the bag when closed. That was there when I got it too. Plus that could also be what’s in the flap (how they attached the top handle and made the flap a little more structured, stuff like that).

This bag had a lot complaints before on canvas version. Many people returned, exchanged. Many of them got cracks on handles, handles came off after a couple months of usage. Hope the new series they make will get better. I refrain buying this because of the reviews online. The black leather is gorgeous
For empreinte you can go blindly towards it as you can see mine was looking so good after 3 years! For canvas, it seem to be good now. My 2018 or 2019 PM in reverse is looking fantastic. However my Infrarouge one which is from 2015 or 2016 I think is having some piping issues :/
Mine is 2 yes old and everything is in almost perfect condition but the top edge of the bag under the flap, I guess the rubbing is starting to peel the bag. I love this bag and for sure have not used it enough to have this damage
Mine is 1 year, hardwear on the strap started to tarnish after 6 weeks, the leather corners are started to fade of the leather, and there are little cracks in the flap. Its really difficult to make annappointment because of covid, but I.ll will bring it in the shop next week. I didnt used the bag so much, dont get whats going on amd still love the bag

Congratulations! If it’s a dark color there is absolutely no need. For a light color maybe you should but even then Empreinte does really well without.
I guess I’m not expert but on mine I chose it so it looked flat grainy inside like you said but still not so embossed to look subtle and not look cheap.
@@AlexAndHisBagsEN and how can you tell that it is not proper embossed? You see bigger pebbles in the smooth area? Is it a bit higher when you pass your hand over it? Also, do you feel like the embossing towards the bottom of the bag is a bit flatter than the top of the bag? I'm So sorry for so many questions, I just received mine but I never got to check it in store or compare it to other pieces to see if I got a good bag. Also, mine is made in USA so I'm hesitant because of that too. Thanks for your help!

Mine was quite aligned even if no perfect. I think in the noir you don’t see it but I admit on canvas I prefer it aligned perfectly! I hope yours will bring you joy!!

this is still one of my favourite bags. but i found the strap uncomfortable if i wear it all day so i changed the strap with the thicker canvas strap

How can you tell if the embossing is proper? Are there a flat grainy look inside the LV and Fleur de Lis?

Tbh the hw is really better quality than the Speedy for example! As you can see on my video only where I put the strap it has tarnished a bit
