Thanks for sharing your experience! I wanted a Monogram, but it is proving hard to get! So I'm thinking opt to the Emprenite Noir as it is slightly easier to find here... and seems to have a few stocks available... was worried about the wear and tear on leather but now you have convinced me! Big thanks!
Yes the monogram one is constantly out of stock, it seems. But I'm glad the video helped. Get the empreinte one, it is beautiful :) xxx

Keep your eye on the scratch over the glazing (or glue as you referred to it). That may be a sign that your glazing is cracking.
Oh ok thank you for the info! I didn't know it is called glazing, but I'm learning more and more words, so thanks for that as well :) If it is getting worse I might go to Louis Vuitton soon

Maren, take it to LV near you they will fix the glazing issue. It will continue to separate. They are very aware of issues with the PM bag.

Btw ich habe mich für die marine-rough Version entschieden, allerdings war schwarz auch sehr lange im Rennen :)
Das freut mich sehr, dass mein Video in irgendeiner Form geholfen hat :) Louis Vuitton sollte mich bezahlen, wenn ich lese, wie viele sich danach endgültig für die Tasche entschieden haben :D :D Ich träume dann mal weiter haha! Ich finde marine-rouge auch richtig richtig toll, die hat etwas ganz besonderes und ich stehe mega auf den roten Rand. Aber ich war dann doch zu feige und bin mit schwarz auf Nummer sicher gegangen.

Oh thank you very much :) As I said, I wouldn't exchange my Metis for a Chanel, but a Chanel holds it's value better, so it is a hard decision (Of course first world hard, but you know :D)

Just subscribed to your channel. Love this bag I have the same one and it is my very favorite bag in my collection. The empreinte leather is so beautiful I also have it in the Rose Bruyere a med pink and it is so pretty.

I got mine in Madrid, in the lightest color (crème) and I absolutely love it, just a bit worried about future color transfer into the bag because it’s s so light almost white.
I have never seen the creme one in real life, but the online pictures look amazing. I hope you won't have any colour transfer issues, I cross my fingers for you.
Fun fact: My parents initially wanted to call me Mercedes because my Mum lived in Mexico when she was a teenager and she always loved the name, just had to think about it when I read your name :D Besitos!

I love my louis vuitton pochette empreinte, however im not happy with the metal closure ( I dont know what it's actually called) infront being scratched so bad.. wanted to buy to buy it on other colour but thats just putting me off.. any suggestions how to look after it?
Hey Jane, I know what you mean, but unfortunately I have no suggestions. It just happens if you use it, I mean, you could let the plastic protection on there, but I heard that the glue damages the metal after some time. But maybe someone here has an idea? Or you could send an e-mail to LV, maybe they have an official recommendation? :)

Hey Liebes! Rubbel mal mit Backpapier über die Stellen des Zippers an denen es nicht so glatt läuft, danach müsste er super laufen! Kannst du auch am kompletten Zipper machen immer wenn an Taschen oder sonst wo der Zipper nicht so glatt läuft ;-)
