    Hi Tim. Excellent content again. Glad you noticed the handling difference. Cool looking to. Tidy install. You know they’ll be lots more performance and mods eh!

    Good stuff Tim, been wanting these for my M140 but haven’t heard real world reports if it increases NVH in the cabin ?
    You didn’t mention it in the video so guessing you didn’t notice any ?

      Thanks mate! No noise at all, been out in the track ones and you can hear the clunking and feel more clunks in steering…these are no different from standard imo in terms of sound! Getting yours in time for Bedford?

    Good tip on lowering changing the camber, I didn't know that! You say it saves outer edge wear pushing hard on track days miles, but won't it wear out the inner edge a lot more on all normal daily driving miles?

    • @TimWilliamsHD
      @TimWilliamsHD  3 года назад

      Yes mate, I didn’t noticed until Marc mentioned it and he sees it on his geo all the time, it’s a negligible difference but still less camber than what you begin with…yes if you don’t spank your car 7 of the 10 times then yes you’ll notice but having done a fair bit of mix driving, I took off the wheel recently to fit a stud conversion and the tyres look evenly worn 😎

    Hi mate. Quick indirect question to your video. When you had your 140i and you had your remus back box fitted. Did the sound change over time e.c.t. ?? Cheers mate, keep up the good work..

    What's the nvh like with the camber plates fitted?

  • @carmad1287
    @carmad1287 3 года назад +1

    Will the NVH be the same fitting these to a m140i? Aslong as i choose the street and not the track version?
    I cant go the m4 lca/ts route as i have aftermarket alloys that wont work with them!!

    • @TimWilliamsHD
      @TimWilliamsHD  3 года назад

      Yes mate, it’s the street plates that give minimal noise compare to the race ones!

      @@TimWilliamsHD Thank you, i watched your video about you selling the m140i and it got me questioning what to do myself. Ive spent a few k on mine and theres a few more handling bits i was looking into.
      Ill never take mine on track, did you have confidence in the car on the road? Or was it just on track you were lacking the confidence in it?
      I currently have b12 kit, lsd, wider tyres. Looking at underbody brace and powerflex rear inserts and possibly these camber plates, just dont know if im going down a rabbit hole.

    • @TimWilliamsHD
      @TimWilliamsHD  3 года назад

      Every car will be a rabbit hole mate 😆
      On the road, it’s a keeper for sure, suspension is your friend along with good width tyres and rubber…having been out in some modified M140s I’d say it’s got potential to be improved however it’ll never handle the way a true M car can having driven my bunch and my own…If I could go back and change something it would be my suspension and wider tyres along with semi slicks and more driver training on track, I guess I’m in a better place to do the latter jobs with the base M2 and go from there!

      @@TimWilliamsHD Thanks for your reply, i really do like the car tbh and i think an m car at this point is out of my budget, and it will always be a road car for me so might do a few other small bits like the powerflex inserts and rear brace to hopefully tighten things up a bit.

    Should get someone to test blind and see if they notice a difference , I’m guessing track times will stay the same ? Another good vid 👍

    • @TimWilliamsHD
      @TimWilliamsHD  3 года назад +2

      I guess, but never really gonna happen. I do a lot of B road driving in mine and there’s tons of roundabouts so I noticed straight away the car leans and takes corners way better now!

    Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love.
    Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans
    . The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom.
    If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. It's not about following the law - perfectly, as it's impossible - it's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him through His power (not ourselves as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction).
    He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if you had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.
    He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
    He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.
    NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER. Regardless of what you've done or what you're going through you CAN make it through Jesus.
    If you have any questions let me know
