    Maybe the Power Commander is a usefull fuel management system, considering the Power Vision CX will flash the ECU map directly without a long piggyback install, but the Power Commander 5 is largely unnecessary for upgraded Exh+A/F and ECU remap.

    Thanks for the videos Albe they're great. On my scout I have these CP Shorty slip ons and and about to install the Arlen Ness Torque Bow air intake. I was not planning on buying a power commander. But I do plan to have the dealer remap or flash the bikes computer. Will this do the same as having the power commander?

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  4 года назад +1

      Hi Gary, just about, the advantage of the power commander is that you can change the maps at will, for example if you modify your bike some more you can just change the maps on your own or if you go back to stock you can just reinstall the stock map, while if you have the dealer flash your ECU you have to keep going back.

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  5 лет назад +1

      They do not make the fp3 for the Indian, only for Harleys, you would have to go for the regular fuelpak that is not as flexible as the PCV, I'm talking about being able to use it with different exhaust, filter and other mods. Beside that, both, me and the owner trusted dynojet to be pretty reliable.

    why not just go with the vision cx?

    • @AlbesADV
      @AlbesADV  5 лет назад

      A few reasons, if the owner wants to go back to stock it only has to disconnect the PC-V instead of reprogramming the ECU. If anything happens to the vision cx, lost, broke etc. The OEM tune is lost and that's a whole lot of problems. And then there is the autotune deal, Vision will not Autotune on the fly but will recommend tunes when hooked with a Autotune and then you can adjust after looking at data (not on fly), PC-V will do live adjustments on the fly with Autotune....and frankly I personally rather not reprogram the ECU in case anything goes wrong during the reprogramming.
