Hello, I'm planning to put an LSA on an LS# 525 crate. Do I need to do anything to the internals like forged pistons or different cam? Any tips help, thank you.
Greatly depends on boost, if you’re using stock 3.00 upper pulley on the LSA then forged pistons aren’t needed. A cam would be recommended if you’re wanting best power but not needed. I know guys that have been running 6-700whp with a 2.45 pulley and blower cam with stock bottom end for tens of thousands of miles, street and strip driving.
Who are you gonna get to tune it and will you dyno it ?
ruclips.net/video/XOxPkxtMyXg/видео.html I will eventually
Did you do anything for the speedo etc after putting the diff in to account for the gear change? I have a '12 caprice
I gave the info to the tuner , so should be taken care of I think when we flashed the new tune in
