The sad thing about it is I don't know a man that is attracted to a low maintenance woman. Almost every woman a man is trying to get is exceptionally beautiful one and nine times out of 10 she is caked in makeup.

@@AdelTheForsaken I think many men can appreciate a woman who takes care of her appearance but also appreciate a woman who is comfortable and confident enough to wear no make-up. My boyfriend loves it when I go full out on date nights but also loves me just as much without any make-up. The way he puts it is that without make-up I'm beautiful but tip more toward the cute/adorable side and when I go full out I'm beautiful and tip toward the sexy/hot side. That being said, I also appreciate that my boyfriend looks after himself. After he met me he actually started doing so even more. He works out more, uses more than just a 1-in-8 body wash, eats more healthily and actually takes care of his skin now. We regularly have spa nights together, lol. I think it's normal and unproblematic to appreciate your partner putting a bit of work into themselves to make you happy/be attractive to you.
These women are all attractive before they put makeup on. Straight men are absolutely nuts. men will call you horrible names for not being pretty, and then if you are pretty with makeup they’ll call you a liar AND ugly lol. On my average work day I just wear pencil on my brows and concealer under my eyes and chin and the one time I was too tired to put on concealer (still did my brows) I literally went home from work because everyone said I looked sick and should go home lmao.
The last time I gave blood I went without makeup. I couldn't close my eyes and relax because when I did, a volunteer would rush over and ask: "are you all right?" They thought I had fainted.

If you looked very different how would they know any better, I never got getting upset when you've looked a certain way generally, then look different on day and people notice. Not putting you down but you kind of set yourself up for that when you make it an everyday thing, people notice when you stop

The history of makeup is so long, you can find it even in ancient Egypt and also before that. I don't understand why these people think makeup is something that is invented by modern times women who just want to fool men. No, it's fun and it's normal to adorn yourself whether it's with jewerly, hair, or makeup. To me it's a hobby and a art form.

As someone who's dropped easily $1000 on make-up, make-up is fun! It's fun to mess around and change your face and add colour. I hate that our society is one of "you don't need make-up, you're pretty" or "you should wear make-up because it looks like you don't care of yourself". It don't hurt nobody, and if the argument is that people wearing make-up is "you're decieving people" then you probably believed in the tooth fairy until you were 20. Make-up is fun, and stop holding people to this standard you yourself can't reach.

ACE CLOP I actually think a lot of these guys would have an abrupt perspective change if they simply found a woman. I knew somebody who- although I’d not go as far as to call him an incel- obsessed over the “unfortunate truths” incels do- ie. having looks, money etc. means you’ve an inherent advantage blah blah- and cited the benefits of chastity, avoiding degeneracy etc. Then he started to hook up with folk on tinder and surprise surprise his ideology changed... most of these people don’t really “believe” their ideology, it’s just a way to deal with their insecurity. “Can’t lose the game if I say the game is stupid” and all that.

Has this perfect specimen of man ever considered that many of these women have acne because they feel they need to put make up on because of the beauty standards place on women in our society. My guess is all the make up can’t be great for their skin. This guy is pathetic
I had acne as a kid, and rarely do now, and used to wonder if make up made it worse. So, I checked with a dermatologist I had been sent to for my allergies. This is what I got from them. Most acne is bacterial or fungal, and results from the normal flora of your face growing out of control. Things like normal hormonal fluctuations, diabetes, changes due to aging, dietary changes, and pregnancy can all cause normal facial flora to become numerous enough to result in acne. You CAN transfer bacteria, virus, or fungus to your face via shared make up applicators, etc., but you don't have to. Most acne is not actually "blocked pores" like the commercials would have you believe. Washing your face more may help reduce surface bacteria/fungus/etc. but it does little or nothing to reduce the subdermal resevoirs that actually cause acne. Wearing make up doesn't cause acne, even if you wear it all the time, though it can cause localized rashes. This is another thing the advertisers have fucked us up with, the lies around skin blemishes.

Most of this is photo work as well. Nose contouring does not get you as far as the B&A photos in the second picture, for example. A lot of this boils down to the lack of understanding of makeup that these guys have. Most women who look really good with makeup look really good without it. Skincare is a huge part of the makeup industry.

as someone who wakes up every morning and puts on makeup for 15 minutes just to say big chungus on discord i think it's really funny how he found all these pictures of women wearing crazy cosplay or wedding levels of cream contour for sculpting, falsies and eyeliner that i guarantee 90% of women aren't getting up every morning and putting on. this is like the watercolor painting of makeup, the average woman probably doesn't even bother with anything more than concealer and mascara. once you know even a bit about makeup these kinds of incel rants turn into a completely different level of wacky

In this specific instance, he suggested the guy in the video might be gay or aroace because he said something along the lines of "all girls are unattractive" and consistently claimed average looking women were ugly to him. Definitely a weird thing to go around assuming peoples sexuality based on them making sexist videos, but I dont necessarily think that his audience would read it as "gay men are only gay because they hate women."
Still I agree he should probably stop trying to armchair psychoanalyze peoples sexuality because people could definitely read that implication into it if he keeps doing it.

The vast majority of women on the street are not out here spending an hour or more applying full contour and highlights in addition to every other step it takes to get those results. I put on some eye makeup and then contour my cheekbones and that's it. Depending on how busy the pharmacy is, anything else would be gone by the end of the night.

also pretty sure hormonal changes make adult acne almost inevitable for a lot of women, as breakouts can be somewhat correlated to menstrual cycles. And wearing makeup for prolonged periods probably also doesn't help keep pores clear either. But what else are you going to do when the world expects you to look like the finished version? Well, I wouldn't know, I hate makeup, haven't worn it in ten years and that was because I was briefly in a preforming art that required it.
