Huge Tip: If you're mounting this fixtures in a confined space or flush against a wall/corner, use needle nose plyers and not a hammer to drive the nails. Insert the 2 nails into the slots and press into the adhesive backing to hold them in place. Remove the adhesive backing tape and place into position, then use the plyers to "push" the nail into place. The nails need to be flush with the clip or the strip won't install properly. If you get the hang of it, you can open the plyers slightly and drive both nails in at the same time.
I had to install 64ft of this all along a ceiling corner and switching to this method made installing the last 48ft of the loop faster than the 1st 16ft with a hammer. also no more scuff marks
