This development is butted up against the middle of the bay bridge which has some of the worst bay area traffic. No Bart stop and only a bike path to Oakland. The wealth this development will bring to the island will surely bring improved public transportation to/from the island and more food options so I guess this is a good thing 🤷🏻♂️.
Do you mean on Treasure Island? And yes; also read about the remediation that’s been done to prepare for these new residences, as well as the reports confirming through testing that the environment there is safe for habitation.
amazing views and glad to see some new cool housing on the island. taking an L on the high $1,400 HOA. Its a major Con to the pros. I rather have no "amenities" and have a $400 or less HOA. think I am with most people not being a fan of HOA fees
HOA is always a pain for any building. Can’t argue with that. BUT, for the set of amenities you get, it’s a lot less $$ than similar buildings downtown.
There’s no definitive availability / completion date yet announced by the developer but indication is leasing starts this year. You can register online and receive the announcement when it hits. islehousesf.com/#JoinUs
Luxury is wonderful but I want to see developers required to build some low income housing when building high profit residences. It’s badly needed - understatement.
they're required to as part of the building code. Every development has to have a certain percentage, and developers can trade away below market housing on one development and add it onto another. So it is happening! Between YBI and Treasure Island, 27% affordable out of the 8,000 units being built.
You mean, right next to the bridge with all the pollution and noise? And those boxy boring black and white units? Yeah, real luxury. Kinda vulgar and ignorant, fella.

Its been awesome seeing this development be built over the past few years. I think in another 5 years it will be a great extension of SF.
Agree 100%. Excited for all the parks and trails

It’s gonna take a long time but I think it will bring a lot to the area. Bart won’t go there but ferry and bus do go there now which is nice.
I'm from San Francisco. Yerba Buena is relentlessly windy.
Can get windy for sure. Not always tho. Was there a couple times over past two weeks and it was lovely.
Have you ever read about all the people who grew up as kids on the navy base there, and their cancer rates as adults?

Hey! When do you think the developments on Treasure Island will hit the market for rent? I’d be looking for a studio.

@@austinklar thank you so much! Looking forward to move. Keep up the videos, just subbed 🤠
Appreciate you 🙏🏻
But what about the supermarket situation?!
You have to drive to TI or to SF (or take the ferry).
Isn't the Nimez House located on that island? At only time it was talked about becoming the Mayor of san francisco residents.
Yes! Underneath the bridge
How much is the townhouse with 3 bedrooms?
The 3 beds start at $3,095,000. If you want a detailed price list shoot me your email 👌🏻
Hopefully it wont sink .
It’s so high up, gonna be thousands of years before that happens if it ever does
They should have made it more units and taller to actually see the view, what a wasted opportunity
View is pretty prominent there when you’re above the 2nd floor
