    Awesome, When I used to weld for a manufacturer we always matched our sheet metal and plate steel up to 1/4" corner to corner like that, it looks much better even for a professional welder. I personally think a 5 or 6 inch stack will work, just put a damper on it so you can adjust the flow if you need to.

    What bolt size did you use for the stack? Also, are they raw metal bolts or they have a coating??

    Think a 5” would work. It would give you more room to tighten the nuts that hold it on. The last smoker I built I used a pellet feed off a pit boss grill. Wireless hands free light.
