Such a gorgeous stove Doug. I'll have-ta look into the specs of it. Maybe I can up-grade my G111 to this baby. I'm assuming it's a base-burner, cause you said it had a split back pipe. How much coal will the pot hold, and does it have prismatic grates? I'm sure this baby is sold by now. Nice job on the resto.
@@macmancapecod Hi Dave. Thanks for the reply. This particular 290, with it's load door mica, and nickel treatment really gets to me. I just love it. You didn't mention the capacity, compared to the G111. Doesn't really matter, cause the unfortunate part, is I can't afford a restored stove. And I know you guys deserve all you can get for it. I wish there was an "un-restored" version of this exact model, that would be more affordable. Thanks for teasing me with it. Merry Christmas to you guys. Now, back to CoalPail. :)
Doug ships his stoves around the world. He sold six of them to a customer in the Ukraine last year. He can ship to Australia, too. Email him: barnstablestove@comcast.net ...he will get back to you. Meanwhile, look over the selection of stoves he has on his website, www.BarnstableStove.com. If you ever make your way to Cape Cod, an hour south of Boston, be sure to stop into his shop next to the railroad tracks!

Out of all of the stoves that I have seen on RUclips, this is the absolute most beautiful one yet.
Jack... have you seen his website? Www.BarnstableStove.com
Doug has hundreds of stoves!
That thing is beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Look at this thing. It's beautiful. In 1910 even a stove was a work of art. Today, everything is a boring ass rectangle completely devoid of art.
Exactly
Some of the most beautiful stoves came out of Troy NY
That is one beautiful stove.I would love to have one just like it. A real piece of art !
