@@deatheater1900 I had a digital but the issue I have with it besides battery is the tolerances are not repeatable to be honest, I'd take measurements over and over and the last digit would not be consistent, so you could really only trust it down a significant figure. At least reading it on Vernier scale, you aren't wasting batteries haha. I love hand tools in general, and I'd love some high quality callipers but I can't justify the price, where as my plastic one was like a few dollars and my metal cheapie was only like $10 haha.... unlike some Japanese high end ones at $300!
