This guy is one of my favourite YT content creators. He's just recently got back from the US, and not so long ago filmed in Canada.
Believe it or not he is sometimes defeated by challenges, but they tend to be more North America.
Don't let his size fool you though, he was ranked as the 15th best professional eater in the world.
Given your love for Fish and Chips he has just uploaded a video with his sister doing another monster Fish and Chips challenge.
He's sometimes his own worst enemy though, he frequently starts eating too soon when the food is piping hot, and often comments he should have let the food cool a little first. But I hope you do more reactions to him.

the gravy he had is a staple thing in every british chippy its a dark beef gravy and it tends to be thick ( aka the best kind of gravy as well )

Adam, aka Beard Meats Food, is an absolute legend. I really don’t know where he puts all that food! There are so many more challenges he’s done in Canada and the USA and, with very few exceptions, he aces every one. Do check out more of his videos, ladies.
He is a fitness nut with a very controlled diet the rest of the time to maximise his metabolism so he can burn it off. Plus he doesn't eat for a day beforehand and a couple of days after doing a challenge.

Yea we have normal sized bread which is thin slices thicker ones which are called toastie and I've seen a thicker one at morrisons called super toastie

I watch Beard Meets Food regularly - he has a certain fascination! Try watching the video he's done with his sister for his Christmas song release. It's done for charity, which he explains at the end.
I watched the most recent one last night, it’s fish and chips enough for 4 people!! And yes majority of the time he always asks for dessert. Great choice of video as usual, thank you ❤

Could definitely go for some fish and chips now.Most of the time his videos make me hungry, especially the full English breakfast ones. I usually make a bacon sandwich before watching those.
@@helvete983 hahaha, good thinking, I always get cake to watch 'bake off' with, its impossible to get through it otherwise. I remember being about 16 working in a chippy, and it was just torture , by the end of the night you felt like your stomach had started to eat itself 🤣
He actually did a challenge at my brother's restaurant in Texas, which is how I found out about him. I've been hooked ever since. Also, every Christmas, he dose a music video and the proceeds go to a charity. Some of his video's are short, so you can react to a few of them at a time.
£18 for that load of food is a bargain,I'd take the challenge and ask for a doggy bag, the rest would last me the rest of the week

He's a fellow Yorkshireman, and, I think a fellow Loiner (A Leeds lad). He's got the typical Yorkshire self-deprecating humour, and, like others say, is a legend.

There is always a post credit clip you missed. I regularly work in a venue he did a challenge in a couple of years ago and he has been to a few places near me. It's always a thrill to see that. He lives about 90 min away from me. Cracking vid! Please do more. Preferably one with Mrs Beard in it.
Check his back catalogue it goes back 7 years, he tours America 🇺🇸 loads of times. He's 5foot 10inchs,he has a podcast called breaking bread with his mate gosh gudgeon, very funny banter. Gravy is like flour & meat juice with water mixed together.

I'd eat the chips first because cold chips are hard to eat. My husband gave me that tip after he did the hungry horse challenge at our local pub, the reward was the whole meal free and a pitcher of any beer so he chose Guinness to annoy the landlord further 😂 and 16 dollars is a rip off but I feel u, if it tastes good and you want it...munch away. Also your gravy in some parts is really different to ours, our is made with a rue, meat juices and usually a beef stock and it's usually beef gravy.
Standard curry sauce was introduced when immigrants came to the UK back in the 50's/60's and designed for the western palette. Singapor noodles has often included curry sauce.

In manchester in the 70s there was a chippy near old trafford cricket ground tha was run by an elderly chinese couple...the gravy, peas,and curry were all served with the same ladle....so curry flavoured everything including babbies heads( steak and kidney steamed suet pudding)..also northern gravy is sticky like napalm😈👍

Curry and gravy are staple ingredients in the chippy meal (in the north of England anyway). The curry can be english, chinese or irish each have their own flavour profiles and recipes. The gravy is normally a thick beef broth brown gravy.
Gravy in the UK
Melt butter in pan.
Add tablespoon of plain flour
Mix until a paste.
Cook on very low heat to cook out flour flavour.
Slowly add beef or chicken or vegetable stock to the paste and mix.
Soo good
Beard has a charity song out at the moment, he does one most Christmas times for a charity that supports stroke patients. Not only is he a competitive eater, he is a great musician as well!
How much did that platter cost? It's 9 quid just for 1 large cod and large chips and mushies at my chippy 🐟🐟🎣

I would assume you know man v food, Adam is insane as hes not a competitiveeater.. Not as insane as the Australian guy who's name escapes me at the moment, but his jaw muscles man wtf. And then I think a British woman holds the Guinness world record for eating a rather sizeable burrito in about 30 odd seconds.
I eat big portions but just not as fast.

Girls! The gravy normally sold in Fish and Chips shops is the powdered type that you add water to and is nor “proper”!
Even powdered gravy in the UK is better than “gravy” in the U.S 😉

I’m a Fish & Chips purest. Just Cod, chips and maybe mushy peas with a side of bread and butter. I think this stems from when I was growing up you couldn’t get all these sides of gravy or curry etc down in South-East England. Not that we had fish and chips often. Just twice a year, the night before going on holiday and the day we came home from holiday, two weeks later, so mum didn’t have to cook!

I know it's just me and might sound a right spoil sport. Not saying people should or shouldn't do it at all, but I've never understood why people feel the need to stuff themselves with food unless you are in some kind of survival situation.
Completely agree with you. I just don't get why watching someone stuff their face with food is entertainment to some people or why anyone wants to do it (aside from you tube cash and likes obviously) It just makes me feel quite sick tbh 🤮
