Love the Beard reaction vids. It's always funny when he takes his time to savor a challenge like this rather than just going balls to the wall and trying to break the record etc. Still slammed it.
Lightly fried eggplant is an amazing side. You can eat it with meat, you can eat it with rice. Some people can't eat them when their texture remains the same (boiled, oven cooked), but lightly fried they are amazing and beginner-friendly.
Ash is so pretty she looks like the models from the 1980s the Brooke Sheilds decade , which in my opinion had the prettest models. Dave and Ash are a great couple.
The thing about zucchini is that everyone who grows them in their garden always end up with too many, so they try to give them away but nobody wants them because they either hate zucchini or they also have too many. Some of my coworkers bring in their extra vegetables to give away, and zucchini is always the last to go. Two years ago there was a pile in the break room of ten zucchinis that sat there for two weeks
I love, and I mean *love* boiled or steamed zucchini with salt. Give me a bulging grocery sack full of unwanted zucchini or yellow squash and you are temporarily my favorite person. It's the only food I think I could give Adam a run for his money regarding consumed quantity. 🥒🥒🥒😋
Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus) known in some English-speaking countries as lady's fingers, is a flowering plant in the mallow family native to East Africa. It has edible green seed pods. Cultivated in tropical, subtropical, and warm temperate regions around the world, okra is used in the cuisines of many countries.
Okra is not like zucchini. Okra is a small, pepper looking plant. Imagine a slightly fuzzy, more pointy jalapeño. But it's not spicy at all. It can be slimy depending on how you cook it. It's used to thicken gumbo in the south.
Josh and Olly from the RUclips channel called Jolly have had collard greens on some of their food reactions, they were never really the biggest fans of collard greens. In case your not familiar with Jolly they are two friends from London who travel the U.S. and try different foods from around the country.

Though they may look similar, cucumbers and zucchini do not belong to the same family. Cucumbers belong to the gourd family while zucchini belongs to the Cucurbita family. Technically speaking, cucumbers are considered to be a fruit by many people.
Unless I am mistaken, cucumber and zucchini actually are in the same family. They are both in the cucurbitaceae family, also know as the gourd family or the curcurbits. They are in different genera of that family though. Zucchini is in the curcurbita genus, which includes summer squash like zucchini and winter squash like pumpkin Cucumber is in the cucumis genus, which includes cucumber and the true melons.

Korean BBQ is excellent. I like it almost as much as Texas BBQ. Okra is not Courgette. LOL!! There is no flavor profile in either that has any similarity at all. Too funny.
You are right on okra not being courgette. Don't know about the flavor profile thing though. Trying to figure out the similarities between tomato and potato, and they are very closely related.
I'm from the northern US but I've spent some time in Alabama and southern hospitality is a real thing. The people that didn't rob you were genuinely over the top nice and almost everyone had a smile. They were very religious which was a bit off-putting; I'd be pumping gas or in line at the store and a stranger would walk up and start talking about Jesus. Also, everyone wants you to drink sweet tea but it's a trap, your eyes will go blurry and you will develop diabetes. They basically pour tea into a bag of sugar and sip it while wondering which off their feet they'll lose first. Nice people though.

Courgettes are nothing like Okra lol. Pretty easy plant to grow, you guys should try it out! Great fried and pickled.
Correct. Totally different thing. Come on, Beard!
Yes You are so RIGHT Ash .. Dave needs to see Boondock Saints .. EVERYBODY need to see it at least once .
Boondock* and yeah, it's a great movie. I didn't expect it to be as good and funny as it is.

Fried okra is amazing. It’s a staple of southern cooking.
Yeah it's definitely not courgette or zucchini. lol.

Great reaction as usual and I just have to say that everyone needs to find themselves someone that looks at them the way Ash looks at Dave. 🤷♂️🫶
Scorpions were HUGE in the '80s and somewhat into the '90s. They dominated MTV and Much Music in Canada as one of the premier metal bands around!

Yes... sriracha is amazing with mac n' cheese. Also... courgette is NOT okra. Okra is it's own plant.

And Okra is completely unrelated to either of those things. In fact, it is a much closer relative of the Cotton plant.

You guys should do a donut ball eating contest.
Baked mac and cheese is the only way. And Louisiana hot sauce is the best combo
Another name for that difficult oil name is canola oil.
Okra is closely related to the marsh mallow. I am sure you have heard of it.😊
Many competitive eaters will gorge on grapes the day before a contest to stretch out their stomachs
Collard is leafy and a cousin of the broccoli and cabbage. Mmmm

Got to love it when reacters say that they could do it, it's like clockwork 😂 sure, you could keep up with people who do it professionally.
I grow several varieties of okra every year. Dave, you’re a gardener, get on it!
