Fun fact: So far, this is the only film from Illumination to be nominated for Best Animated Feature. I really like this one. Gru is as fun as ever, and Lucy and El Macho are both great.

Fun fact, Illumination studios actually hasn’t made a movie good enough to win best animated feature, given the fact the best movie they’ve made is Mario, and everything else is pretty mid to meh. I don’t think I know a single kid he likes the sequels to these movies, I’m convinced fb aunts made the box office for these
Just so you guys know, the reason this one looks so much better is because they had a much much bigger budget. Despicable me 1 was their first movie and after that blew up they had a pretty big budget for the following sequels

fr!!! i was just recently thinking how much more i like other stuff from reel rejects as compared to mcu. dont get me wrong their marvel reactions and reviews are great but its lighthearted standalone (well within the smaller franchises) things like these movies and shows like b99 etc that i truly love more as it really lets the reactors, channel and us have some breather.

Incase no one told you yet Greg the voice of the woman Groot went on a date with is Kristen Schaal, the same voice of Mabel from Gravity Falls. She’s in quite a few animated films and shows you’ve probably seen already. She’s in Bojack Horseman, Bob’s Burgers, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2, some Toy Story spin offs and few live action movies as well.
She's also in the music video for weird Al's "Tacky," the cover of "Happy" which is from this movie... Fun connection I didn't realize!
Fun fact: Al Pacino was El Macho and recorded all his lines and was fully animated. But he dropped out of the movie 2 months before release, so they had Benjamin Bratt record over all of Al Pacino’s scenes in the movie.
The "It's so fluffy, I think i'm gonna die" is epic! I still use it sometimes 😂

Minions 2 you get to see the early years of Gru with the minions in 1975 when Gru was 11 yrs old

They both did their role very well on this one it was very well done can't wait for more
These were still the good old days before they overdid it with the Minions by this movie they knew it was profitable and funny but still didn’t put them everywhere for no reason. I really like this movie for it’s pure entertainment value.
