I fell in love with Cebu the first time I saw it. Now, its my favorite city in the whole Philippine archipelago. All the people I met are nice and kind. It's where I fell in love and fell out of love. Still, I will go back to Cebu because it's a nice place to fall in love.

I strongly dis agree , Cebu has long been a prosperous city long before Iloilo came into the picture but the queen liked Iloilo more than Cebu . It was only Iloilo that was called queen city of the south . It was only thru promotions that cebuanos called Cebu queen city of the south and thus who have no knowledge of history believe them!
Water and sewerage remain medieval. Saline corruption of the water table has not been addressed and investment goes into the pockets of the corrupt. This 2013 promotional film appealed to the greedy based on the premise that peaceful people would acquiesce.
True. That's because 60-70% of Cebu's revenues mandatorily goes to the nat'l govt, so Cebu ended up not having money to fund infras such as u pointed. The plans are already there a long time ago especially the ones refined by JapanICA assistance but the greedy natl govt won't fund many of them as nat'l focus too much on Metro Manila & around it

Pg pumunta ka ng Cebu pag mg resign ka sa trabaho d aabot ng isang buwan may trabaho kna agad dahil kulang pa rin ang ng aaply. Mas marami ang investment kaysa applicante.. yan lng yung advantage sa cebu compare sa manila. Alam ko yan dahil lagi nlang tina tanong kung tga saan ka pag may ka comoetencya kang tga Cebu second option ka nlang pro tanggap ka pa rin dahil kulang apolicante.. marami lng turista sa Cebu.
