The inauguration formally took place on April 27 but it was not until April 30th, at exactly 5:08PM, they opened the CCLEX gates to the public. So after 4 years of construction, the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway is FINALLY OPEN to everyone! From May to July 2022, the bridge will be on soft opening phase. During this time, there are still some minor works in the bridge especially in Cordova side which at the moment, experiences some heavy traffic. But on July 2022 onwards, the pedestrian lane, bicycle lane, and motorcycle below 400cc will now be allowed to enter the bridge. TOLL RATES are as follows: Class 1: P90 (if your vehicle is higher than 7ft = P180) Class 2: P180 Class 3: P270 There are only CASH LANES during the soft opening phase. RFIDs will be accepted on July. ___ No talk, just drive. Beautiful ! But still many more to be developed on both sides of the bridge or road. In Japan for example, at least every 3 or 4 kilometres there are gas station, restaurant, toilet.
Thanks for showing. They need to improve the toll booth more efficiently. It's still useless you went fast over the bridge only to get stuck in a traffic jammed paying for it.
You're welcome! Hopefully by July the RFID will be functioning by then. Also the unfinished roads in Cordova. That will lessen the traffic in the area. And during the soft opening phase, this is where they'll see what areas they should improve on.

You would really appreciate the Beauty of Cebu in this Angle in this Bridge, Well Done to Duterte Admin. This is such an Iconic Bridge and it brings out the Magneficient Cebu with those lights on. Lets all Hope that this kind of projects keep coming. Vote Wisely.
Hope they can do a toll subsidy similar on Skyway where it was free for a certain amount of time due to ongoing works (TRB to advise??),. It will help pull more motorists to use it and make the toll fee worthwhile once implemented back. Sa ngayon kasi its kinda not being cost efficient from the motorists since they experience traffic/delays on the Cordova side.
Totoo, dapat libre muna ang toll dyan sa CCLEX kahit sa unang 30 days lang. Para kahit paano, mas ma-enganyo pa ang maraming motorista na dumaan dyan. After 30 days o pag natapos na ang daan sa may Cordova side paglampas ng toll gate, saka na sila maningil ng toll fee.
Alam ko namang kailangan mabawi ng Metro Pacific Tollways ang nagastos nila sa pagpapagawa ng CCLEX, pero mas maganda sana kung nilibre muna nila ang toll sa CCLEX for the first month of soft opening.
Kasi dito sa Luzon, standard protocol ng mga toll operators na magbigay ng toll fee waiver sa first month of soft opening ng mga expressway. Saka na sila maniningil ng toll after 30 days o pag pinayagan na silang maningil ng TRB.
is this short cut way from mactan international airport to downtown? because in 2018 I was been there the traffic from airport to down town is very heavy.
15:40 to your left, there is buildup of many vehicles and a bottleneck for heavy traffic during rush hours, toll fee lanes must be at least five or more. if they are using prepaid cards it will be faster. from cordova its a very long uphill drive.
Hopefully by July the RFID will be functioning by then. It will speed up the queue just like in Manila expressways. Also when they're finished with the roads in Cordova, it'll have a total of 4 lanes. That will hopefully eliminate the traffic. @@Carl_John Thanks for pointing that out, that’s great, they’re building artificial hill for the ramp. Like on most long down sloping highways I’ve driven in British Colombia and Georgia down to Florida, they’re really essential for safety, especially when towing fully loaded RV.

The inauguration formally took place on April 27 but it was not until April 30th, at exactly 5:08PM, they opened the CCLEX gates to the public.
So after 4 years of construction, the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway is FINALLY OPEN to everyone!
From May to July 2022, the bridge will be on soft opening phase. During this time, there are still some minor works in the bridge especially in Cordova side which at the moment, experiences some heavy traffic.
But on July 2022 onwards, the pedestrian lane, bicycle lane, and motorcycle below 400cc will now be allowed to enter the bridge.
TOLL RATES are as follows:
Class 1: P90 (if your vehicle is higher than 7ft = P180)
Class 2: P180
Class 3: P270
There are only CASH LANES during the soft opening phase. RFIDs will be accepted on July.

Wow! Fantastic driving po. In my observation, yung one and two arms LED lights will soon be functioning, the electronic signage and directional and informative signages I guess ay susunod na ipa-functions ng mga taga CCLEX. The RFID toll collection system ay baka sa July na. Nice video po sir.

Beautiful ! But still many more to be developed on both sides of the bridge or road. In Japan for example, at least every 3 or 4 kilometres there are gas station, restaurant, toilet.

Thanks for showing. They need to improve the toll booth more efficiently. It's still useless you went fast over the bridge only to get stuck in a traffic jammed paying for it.
You're welcome! Hopefully by July the RFID will be functioning by then. Also the unfinished roads in Cordova. That will lessen the traffic in the area. And during the soft opening phase, this is where they'll see what areas they should improve on.
This is a soft opening. July 2022 is the fully automated toll gate/fee. Right now they are accepting cash.

I don't mind paying for it, but not the congestion that goes with it at the booth. Also, I noticed there was an uneven pavement at the top of the bridge peak. Unlike the old 2 bridges were it's much even pavement and smoother.

Hope they can do a toll subsidy similar on Skyway where it was free for a certain amount of time due to ongoing works (TRB to advise??),. It will help pull more motorists to use it and make the toll fee worthwhile once implemented back. Sa ngayon kasi its kinda not being cost efficient from the motorists since they experience traffic/delays on the Cordova side.
Totoo, dapat libre muna ang toll dyan sa CCLEX kahit sa unang 30 days lang. Para kahit paano, mas ma-enganyo pa ang maraming motorista na dumaan dyan. After 30 days o pag natapos na ang daan sa may Cordova side paglampas ng toll gate, saka na sila maningil ng toll fee.
Mahirap po yan.. For sure babawi ang private company(MPTDC) sa kanilang gastos😊
Alam ko namang kailangan mabawi ng Metro Pacific Tollways ang nagastos nila sa pagpapagawa ng CCLEX, pero mas maganda sana kung nilibre muna nila ang toll sa CCLEX for the first month of soft opening.
Kasi dito sa Luzon, standard protocol ng mga toll operators na magbigay ng toll fee waiver sa first month of soft opening ng mga expressway. Saka na sila maniningil ng toll after 30 days o pag pinayagan na silang maningil ng TRB.

15:40 to your left, there is buildup of many vehicles and a bottleneck for heavy traffic during rush hours, toll fee lanes must be at least five or more. if they are using prepaid cards it will be faster. from cordova its a very long uphill drive.
Hopefully by July the RFID will be functioning by then. It will speed up the queue just like in Manila expressways. Also when they're finished with the roads in Cordova, it'll have a total of 4 lanes. That will hopefully eliminate the traffic. Also, during the soft opening phase, this is where they'll see what areas they should improve on.

Ang CCLEX project na ito ay hindi kasali sa Build3x projects ni PRRD. Ito ay mula sa efforts ng Chartered City ng Cebu, Cordova at mga local government units nag loan upang e finance ito. Nasa NEDA, DPWH at iba pang mga ahensiya ang listahan ng Build3x at hindi ito kasali.

@@Carl_John Thanks for pointing that out, that’s great, they’re building artificial hill for the ramp. Like on most long down sloping highways I’ve driven in British Colombia and Georgia down to Florida, they’re really essential for safety, especially when towing fully loaded RV.
