MOA complex and Seaside Cebu are both "lifestyle cities" under the SM brand. Thus, to answer your question, yes it is kinda going in the direction where MOA is at now. What's unique about Seaside Cebu complex is their Cebu Ocean Park (SM partnership also). I just hope that they dont copy the new reclamation that MOA is having now.

I’m an architect but looking at it it is far from done. All I can say is structural is at 80-90% done but the rest still has a lot of work to do.

So basically what they're doing is a copy paste of Mall of Asia complex. The arena looks like MOA arena but a bit larger.
nope it is not a copy paste because they will have different design and Seaside Arena will have linear park
Although it would be logical to just copy and paste the MOA Arena to save money, there are actually a lot of differences between the two:
🔹 Regarding the exterior design, before the MOA Arena came into existence, there was already the University of San Carlos Anselmo Bustos Gym in Cebu City, which was built first with the same eye-shaped facade. An inside joke among the students at this university is that this is where the MOA Arena took its inspiration from, although it is not glassy 🤣. Therefore, the SM Seaside Arena can’t just apply the same design.
🔹 The MOA Arena was designed to accommodate a seating capacity of 15,000, while the SM Seaside Arena has 16,000, a bit higher. To achieve that, obviously, there’s already a huge difference in the layout inside.
MOA complex and Seaside Cebu are both "lifestyle cities" under the SM brand. Thus, to answer your question, yes it is kinda going in the direction where MOA is at now. Seaside Cebu complex will have condos, more hotels, a possible IKEA branch, an outdoor amusement park, offices and more.
What's unique about Seaside Cebu complex is their Cebu Ocean Park (SM partnership also).
I just hope that they dont copy the new reclamation that MOA is having now.
Actually yung shape is same sa moa arena, but mas naimprove ito dahil mas spacious na yung walkway pababa sa lowerbox - patron then hindi na siguro door type style yung entrance exit papunta sa lowerbox tingin ko parang mini lounge na din na may standing area same sa t-mobile arena,
yung suites is iba na din pansin natin na may 2 klase na ng suites, yung isa is parang opera boxes idk im not really sure,
then mas madaming capacity yung upperbox , sana lang di nila gawin yung katulad sa MOA ARENA na may partition ang lowerbox at patron (retractable seat)
i expect na magiging kamuka ito ng vivint home arena, home of the NBA TEAM UTAH JAZZ, dahil na din sa shape and style ng seating plan , but this one is unique excited ako makita ang interior features nya

@@james.518 hahaha...arena are concrete enclosure...pagnasa loob ka nyan wala ka ng makikita at sa laki nyan nabloblock pa ung view ng ibang building..kung concert lng pupuntahan di naman kailangang nakabungad sa harap ng view ng dagat...dapat sa likod ng s.m na lng nilagat hindi sa side...mas kikita pansila if other business nilagay jan...laki ng footprint nung arena.
