      Steroid Cook what is the problem of using steroids? Do you think is cheating? Do you think you are in a competition against the fitness industry athletes? Do you think it is an easy way to achieve objectives and makes bodybuilding and others easy sports?
      Athletes deny use of steroids because of all this dumb point of view of people like you.
      Steroids don't make things easy,make them possible.Do you think is possible to look like Steve naturally?
      The human maximum physical performace is very shitty.If you havenct trained for a weighlifting sport since a kid,you probably are condemned to look like a dyel the rest fo your life.Steroids make amazing things possible and make sports something more competitive and enjoyable, even in a "healthy" sport like crossfit.

    Crossfit and Bodybuilding can absolutely coexist. CrossFit definitely improves functional fitness. and work capacity but there is also functional fitness in bodybuilding... and by the way isolation movements are ok to do, there's nothing wrong with wanting to have good looking biceps, pecs and calves. Often after an intense workout of the day in CrossFit I'll throw in a few isolation exercises like bicep curls, calf raises or dumbbell flyes.

    Competitive CrossFit athletes need to be drug tested rigorously in order to legitimize the sport. The UFC (who also happens to be sponsored by Reebok) recently implemented drug testing done by USADA for their athletes. USADA use urine but also blood testing, which is the most precise and effective way of testing for PEDs. Since USADA got involved, many fighters have either failed their tests and got suspended as a result, or lost visible muscle mass and gained more fat (coming of the juice). In the future, I would like to see similar drug testing in professional CrossFit. While you can't deny the insane work ethic it requires to be a top-level Crossfitter, the current method of drug testing is preventing the brand to reach a legitimate place in current sports.

      @@CrossFitGamesTV Thanks to you. Since 2010-2017 i was hitting the gym and running and i was focused in a way to be athletic. I never liked bodybuilding principles. So i was strong and ripped but always felt that was not the path. When i found crossfit i knew that was my path. I wanted to be fit, functional, applying those movements to other sports and not going to a "how you look" contest. Those crossfit videos you posted back then taught me so much!!!
      PD: I remember when i was fit in the gym i would play a soccer match and i was strong but after some sprints i was out of breath. After crossfit i wouldn´t get tired lol. That was a crazy feeling and i still remember that so clear.

      califilipino Im sure some can. Im just not understanding the hate towards it.

    • @PigeonMan5000
      @PigeonMan5000 7 лет назад +5

      because when you do Olympic lifts for time, you kinda short change that mind muscle connection and cause tremendous wear and tear on your body. The hate comes from the douchecanoes that don't shut the fuck up about it and the fact that form is thrown out the window AANNDDDD "crossfit" was done way before it became a brand. Athletes did functional training and never called it crossfit.

    • @chuckd5877
      @chuckd5877 7 лет назад

      Calfilipino, who said they could? It annoys me when people switch up the argument like that. And you got a bunch of likes as if it was a valid point. He was just saying that the average person talking shit on here about the crossfitters are in way worse shape than the people they're shit talking.

    • @califilipino
      @califilipino 7 лет назад

      +Chuck D If you look at what he responded he literally just said he's "sure" some can. Also his original comment said they can out lift "you." The majority of the views in this video comes from Steve's audience like myself and many of us are serious lifters. So you shouldn't be surprised that we correct him when he undermines what we do and acts like crossfitters can out-lift us.

    Yeah, that chick Brooke is clearly on some juice. She was pushing through the reps with the same efficiency long after all the guys started to gas out. Juicing up is understandable for body builders that need size, but has no place in fitness athletes.

    • @primusro
      @primusro 8 лет назад +15

      Daniël Klein Nibbelink I understand what you are saying. From my point of view, crossfit promotes itself to be the sport with the most fit athletes. from a multipurpose functionality point of view. Telling someone that they can become the best natural form of themselves and then promoting drug enhanced athletes is a scam. People would look at her, wanting to be like her, without knowing that they will never be able to be like that without some 'outside help'.

    • @henkdedikkesteen
      @henkdedikkesteen 8 лет назад +6

      I absolutely agree with that. Drug testing should be top priority in any sport, to both reveal the truth about the effectiveness of training and nutrition and to eliminate the people excusing their own bad physique with saying others are juicing... and also, steroid production should be a crime and handled like any other drug...

    • @primusro
      @primusro 8 лет назад +5

      Daniël Klein Nibbelink well, the last part can't really be done at that level. Steroids were in fact developed for people with real problems, to treat medical conditions. But indeed, steroid use for any sports should be taken very seriously and frown upon.

      Are you serious? There's a loophole in every sport. You can't tell me that you actually believe every Olympic Medalist that isn't caught is clean. That there aren't some doped professional sports players that pass on a regular basis. Shit, Lance Armstrong is the master of loopholes and would still be in that shit had he not admitted to it.

    Steve is one of the biggest faces in BB. With that said, I totally agree with him about training. BB shows are about total depletion and I got sick of ppl saying do less cardio, lift more, eat clean. While I believe in clean eating, I also believe in functional fitness. So after BB for 2 years I moved into powerlifting. That f**ked my world up. Eat more, move less. Noooo... maybe crossfit is the answer....

Crossfit is a joke compared to bodybuilding, body builders have to work relentlessly 6/7 days a week while trying to get unreal amounts of food in while you do your stupid AMRAP weightlifting, I can't even start why doing extremely technical lifts, where a mistake in your form can mess up your body completely, until failure is stupid! Top athletes 'train' and do not only perform the "Workout of the Day" (WOD). A Crossfit WOD is supposed to be an expression of strength and fitness, not necessarily the means by which it is obtained. People often confuse 'training efforts' and 'performances'.
