I’m hoping this series gets big enough so that I can keep radiating out until I hit a whole bunch of my tiktok friends and they get to be guest stars. I’d 1000% have you on if I was in VA
There a huge amount of private collectors who have massive collections, they just don’t want the publicity. 12 key retro for example somewhere in NY is a museum that people live in, and only a limited amount of people know about it. It’s a unicorn IMO, but …..
Found you from kodywithak channel! Glad to see others folks on here with good content and recognize how huge Kody should be ! I look forward to checking out your stuff
There's been retro game stores popping up around New England. Core Gaming in Salem NH actually expanded, and now has a location in Nashua NH. Salem MA has two retro game stores, and a fantastic barcade.
Hit up Brooklyn next! Got to Brooklyn Video Games, and their new expansion store Brooklyn Games & Arcade. Also hit up Brooklyn Game Shack, and finally hit up the BookOff located in Sunset Park, while it’s smaller than its Manhattan location it carried loads of SFC games at very generous prices!
My dude! Saw your post from LI, came to check out your channel. Awesome stuff :) I hope one day you make it to Japan and make a video about shops in Akihabara. I went there to Super Potato earlier this year and loved it.
Yoooo Harry! I was like “that guy looks familiar…” Japan is great. I’m planning a trip in March to visit family if the stars align, I’ve been to game shops out there, but that was in 2019 before I was filming stuff for these videos. I’m psyched to go out there, it’s been a minute though.
i've been to video games new york once, they're pretty cool, but I also recommend 8 bit and up, its only a few blocks away and is much cheaper (obviously not as quality but its so much easier to just go in and buy a game compared to having to ask like a best buy or target
The one thing I miss about living in the city, I had two game stores (1 closed) but, they were in walking distance. I followed the one guy on Instagram and I would go over whenever they posted a game I want
Love all those in the city, if you’re willing to travel out to Long Island I have a few for you! East end gaming Game On Video game trading post Retro Games and toys of LI
I love this video. The editing is great but I think the title and thumbnail will hold it back. The thumbnail is fine but too cluttered. Feels like there’s too much stuff going on when in reality there’s not too much. Probably the borders fault but that’s just my opinion. The second thing is the title. Like “visiting 100 game stores” emphasizes that you’re visiting 100 game stores in that video. Maybe it could be like “I visited three game stores while in New York” or something like that. I mean that’s pretty long for a title but it shows what you did more than “I went to 100 stores”
@@ThePaulWeber makes sense. But seriously, the editing in this video is great. Don’t know if you edited or you hired an editor but whoever edited it should feel really proud of themselves
Video games New York or 8bit and up. There is also BookOff near mid town. This is still NYC so nothing is too cheap, but between those, Video Games New York
All these stores are for Nintenchildren. I've gone to these stores to pick up retro PS2 and PS1 games. Very basic and obvious classics. They never have them. If you don't have Resident Evil 3 or Ratchet & Clank in stock, then you're cooked.
Infinite Lives. Watertown, NY. Only retro store we have unfortunately but quite sizable
VGNY and Bookoff are my favorite in NYC. J & L has terrible prices on everything not modern so I stay away from them.
Dude I’m so glad you are doing these long form videos! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I’ve got nothing but love for your content!!!
Thank you that’s very kind
Great video Paul! Enjoyed it, can’t wait to see more of it🎉
Yo! High praise from such a creative dude!
Love this! I’ve been doing the same as a hobby
YESS SIR LONG FORM CONTENT BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great video bro! 👍🏾
VGNY is awesome, they have so much cool shit there, and the prices are pretty fair IMO.
this video has everything that I love about your short form videos. thanks for all your hard work on it and I hope to see more!
Awesome video! Kept the vibes of your tiktoks in long form. Love it! If you come through VA beach we’ll show you all our game stores!
I’m hoping this series gets big enough so that I can keep radiating out until I hit a whole bunch of my tiktok friends and they get to be guest stars. I’d 1000% have you on if I was in VA
Im so excited to watch this!
Thank you
I rememebrb when video games new york had a PS2 dev kit unit. that was pretty cool to see in person.
I hope a Book-off employee say "you don't like our prices? Then you can fuck off!" 😂

There are some good places in Jersey right across the Hudson River. Nuevalina in specific
Great video Paul.

Thanks man!

I agree, I’ve just started with long form, and I’m workshopping all this, I’m working through best practices.

@@PizzaFrog1 thanks, it was all me, I’m like 100 videos and 100k subscribers away from hiring an editor. :)
Wow no J and L?
4 swords is $226!?
Where are tho last 2 locations?
Hello, is there any cheap store to buy PlayStation 2 games in downtown New York?
Video games New York or 8bit and up. There is also BookOff near mid town. This is still NYC so nothing is too cheap, but between those, Video Games New York
@@ThePaulWeber Thanks, in Los Angeles, can you say if there are any?
