By the way, for people afraid of slipping out in any trick landing, keep in mind that the more loose and with bending the knees you land, the smaller the chance of a wipeout / slipping out. The stiffer your legs are on impact with the ground, the higher the chance the board shoots out from under you. This really helps with pop shove its, as you really don't need to do a massive pop and hard scoop and 'stomping the landing' at all. It's a pretty mellow trick that benefits from not going crazy. Obviously, the more experienced you get, the more you could pop them and even do them over or onto things.

@@biskeoat9337 idk if youre still finding a hard time committing, but this week i just started maintaining consistent clean rolling ollies after like 2 years of trying to learn and not committing, and what helped me bro with getting over the fear of slipping out was I forced my arms to stay down and low parallel to my body, this caused my shoulders to always remain over the board and parallell with it that made me feel 1000% safer in the air, i hope this might help for anyone

Other tutorial videos just kind of say "pop and then land" without going into the nuances that are needed for people learning the trick. (hint: you are wearing the shirt of one such channel lol) Other you tubers seem to forget while it can be an easy trick for them, there are nuances that can make it difficult for new learners. Ugh yeah the commitment is killing me with even the most simple tricks! But I'll get there, I'm skating tomorrow and just going to work on my mental game :) The tip about just focussing on landing 'wide' is boss, thanks!

I’m trying my best and I’ve been only able to land the trick with front my front foot. I’m focusing on landing wide like u said, I’m not giving up! Great video bro!!!

I went back and relearned some of the basics. I noticed, that I kept landing on the nose on Treflips, I just couldn't get the forward pushing motion. What helped me, since I just muscle pushed the forward motion, was learning to get the hips parallel to the back truck. Makes the rotation much easier and you don't need nearly as much force. I never noticed it on the 180 Shove It variations. It started to happen when I tried Treflips and 360 Shove Its.
Also I wouldn't recommend learning them Fakie (maybe to get a little more familiar with the motion) since you don't need to scoop as hard, but normal Shove It's are just a little different in terms of weight distribution (for me at least).
    Enjoy yourselfs skating,and don't get hurt. 👍

Ok I said this before I tried because I saw that it would help but I literally landed it within 5 tries. Thanks and I’ll share it with all of my friends!
