- I decided to do a series of drum-only video's in the next period, soloing the drumtracks so my fellow drummers can learn a thing or two. :)

Tim i need you're help.. i have a band and we play songs of rammstein, the problem is the drum, we use digital programs ez drummer or garage band, we dont have a real drummer.. and i want use your audio .. from videos like this.. "drums only" ...if you can upload more songs.. please.. i want play rammstein in my city.. i'm from Chile.. and my city needs more rock!

Tim, I just thought I'd mention something I noticed. The pearl export kit you used before this starclassic b/b sounded very thin in your recordings, lacking much low end punch or any snap. In particular, I listened to both of your Fuhre Mich covers, the export's snare sounded like a pillow, where the starclassic is much louder. Also in Bestrafe Mich, there's a noticeable difference in low end. If I had to make sounds for each one, here's what they'd be: Export: "Bong" or "Boing" and Starclassic "Pow!" (or Boom).

Great cover! What do you use to EQ your drums? Are you using any compressors? I found a really good one called Supercharger GT by Native Instruments. You should check it out!
Thanks! For EQ I only use the 3-band eq on my mixer (Soundcraft EPM8) and I do the post-processing of the stereo output track in Adobe Audition with its native compressor and mastering-tools.
Tim Zuidberg could you do more of the drums only? i think your skill is amazing!

no es que sea del reggaetón, el regaetón simplemente la usó, ese ritmo quiza existe desde los sumerios.
Efectivamente, es un dembow trabajado con muchos arreglos de rock, pero sí el dembow viene del reggae de Jamaica que a su vez viene de los ritmos africanos traídos a América por los esclavos negros y recuerda que la influencia de los músicos afroamericanos la encontramos en el jazz, el rock, el reggae, la salsa y muchísimos más, además Schneider, el baterista de rammstein es un músico estudiado y que viene de una familia de músicos y como tal conocedor debe estar abierto a todos los estilos musicales para mejorar su técnica y apreciar y utilizar los elementos que le agraden, a diferencia del rock ero promedio que todo lo que no sea rock es basura
