I respect your intro, you aren't wrong, and its an honest take. If you practice well and have a good ear, you can play heavy handed with proper dynamics and style to get extremely close to SRV with the right recipe of gear.
I watched Pedal Pawns video on this and couldn't stop laughing. A Tube Screamer is a Tube Screamer, Brian Wampler has already demonstrated this. You can't have SRV's sound, because you aren't SRV, so stop trying.
Assuming you use Davinci Resolve for your edits, what are you using for that speed ramping at the beginning of the video? Are you using a plugin for that or doing it manually?
I was researching the Pedal Pawn offering and "BANG" as a subscriber your latest video showed up! How did you know I needed this? Anywho.... My experience tells me that this pedal with a strat (Texas specials pups) and a Fender Deluxe reverb you'll get as close to a SRV tone if that's your thing versus a Dumble, and I don't have the $$$$$$$$$ for a Dumble. There is the "bluesbreaker" side of the pedal that they sell (w/out the drive) the "TexanTwang" model and honestly it does sound better vs the pedal you have. I can't explain it, but anytime a mfg puts the driver on the pedal something changes the pedal's tone slightly (even with the driver off)... but that may just be me... we're talking tone and TONE is SO subjective. Cheers !!
Truthfully , I’m having a real hard time differentiating one pedal from another , there are a few that stand out , the Klons , screamers and transparent drives all seem to sound good , but not discernibly different, even some of the less expensive brands some great , what a great time to be a guitarist !
Henning, you should open an online shirt boutique featuring the shirts you wear in your videos because I want to buy at least half of them I see. I just added the Dio horn cactus sunrise shirt to the list
Back from a 3 week vacation... and way too many videos to catch up on... but Henning is at the top of the list... why? If you ask... you just don't know! 😂😮🤘😎🎸🐦🥒
While I have nothing against an expensive all-new design, made from scratch, things like this are pure hack. Clones of the clones and some more clones and then a $350 ripoff, really? Not a bad pedal, yet a clone's clone, a 50-year-old design, so it should be way cheaper than this. As well as all the other Pedal Pawn stuff, and all of the other 'boutique' clone makers. For God's sake, It's $30 worth of Chinese parts, these prices are outrageous. It's about time someone brings this subject up on RUclips, in the right way.
You'll definitely get SRV's sound but you'll never sound like SRV is the amendment I'd like to make! People like SRV and EVH and a few other's were made to be " one" with their instruments. They made the tone , the tone didn't make them ✅️
I was thinking the same thing and I think many know that with tone being in the equipment and style in the fingers. I've been covering SRV songs at gigs for 20 years and been covering songs by many of Stevie's influences for 30. Am I Stevie Ray? No, but the audience "gets it" immediately and the tone I use is the non-tube screamer crystalline tone of the album "Texas Flood". I use a good clean amp with just the Vertex SSS pedal(made to nail that Dumble SSS tone), SRV Strat or '06 HWY1 Strat with pretty hot pickups, .12s for strings and tuned down 1/2 step. Do I nail it? My setup nails that tone 90% or better. I'm happy with my playing but I don't kid myself about being duplicate of Stevie but it is easy to hear the influence in my playing. I find nailing mid '80s to mid '90s Johnny Winter tone far more challenging.

15:20 Try a Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor

Final Cut... and simple 4X Speed
@@EytschPi42 Oh!.. Nice, I like your fun little speed edits. Great content. 🤘
Sounds like any of the other million tubescreamers, wow
That mini plexi jumped right out.
Great sound. I am torn between that and the PRS HDX
Is nobody else bored to tears of hearing srvwannabees?
I'm with ya
Rather bored of trolls like you…
Personally I’m more tired of the metal heads who put distortion on a pentatonic scale and decide they’re the goat
Nope
Man, love your honest take on the pedal. Great review and pedal.
How does the Kingtone Blues Power compare to the Blues Print?
How would I know that?

Try Van Zandt Blues PUPs with the same Amp. Magic
I'll look at them thanks!!@@JimmyKay1976

It's all marketing and the belief that just one more pedal will make you good enough.

The Link is below and mrgugu will be happy… I don’t make money on them, but I get shirts!
So, how much faster will the Sprint part make you play?
Haaaaaa
Nice playing!
Protein vs Bluesprint (yes i know they are different, but would love a comparison anyway)
This Guitar Pedal is like Han Solo in the Star Wars sequel, not necessary, but good for fan service 😃
The sound of SRV is in your hands and fingers..... or not.
5:37 I do have fingers!!!
I have all my 11 of my fingers. Wait what?!
I mean its cool nice tones. But just do you're own thing there's clones of clones of clones. This pedal has been done already

Yeeeaah, not for €347 I wont. The left side and both together sound great especially on the marshall. Right side nah.
🎉🎉🎉🎉

Looks like a blue King of Tone
Without waiting list
Duellist vs Blues Print
Truth in the fingers and heavy strings ☺️
