I built my third floor yesterday, and after trying to place floors from the outside like you did here, which leaves a slight gap, I came up with another idea. I used a blueprint of a regular wall that you can place anywhere (there’s tutorials on RUclips how to make them) and placed that wall inside the lodge on the second floor really close to the existing wall. And then just attached the roofs from the inside, that way there’s no gaps, it’s at the right height and it blends perfectly with the structure. I swapped the glass roofs out for some wood roofs for looks. It’s a bit fiddly to get right at first but the results are worth it.

@@scamz5356 I can’t find it, but look for videos by MrChurch, LucyJanePlays and KikiBPlays, they all have tutorials on free standing walls.
How exactly did you place the anywhere wall inside the lodge? Whenever I go to place the blueprint it says it’s floating, but it places anywhere else fine
@@boomerbub It can be tricky as all fudge. If it doesn't go down try placing a small mat on the floor where you want the wall to go and position the wall on top, that usually works for me.

thank you, friend. I'd mostly figured this out from watching your vid the first time, but I went back. I DO suggest possibly (for anyone that might want), adding a half wall as well. If you do it'll line up to the wood ledge near the roof a bit better.

I like it alot. 😊 I designed a side-cabin with the same principles you used in your tutorial, but it never crossed my mind to use it to make a third floor. Time to experiment! :)

Finished an amazing build. Found a video teaching on using Power conduits as ladders and expanded the roof outside of the 3rd floor to create an amazing overhang in the front! Would love to show you if I can message you it on Discord or something :P

If there a way to place this structure on a premade floor and blueprint it so like a mobile survival tent? I have problems placing it down in alot of locations due to th terrain
It is hard to use it as a portable camp. You can't place it on another structure.
Great post, very useful, just wondering how can I build a stairs to get up there?
Pile up small objects to make a form of stairs. I use marsupial mutation on all characters, I can't even play the game without marsupial unless it is a challenge or something.
Now I have to figure out how to get a set of Stairs in there to the Third floor...
you can check one of the last videos on my channel with Preston Garvey on thumbnail. Preston used power conduits to make a 🪜 ladder

Hi Vlad, If the Mutated Events at the top of the hour are gone now, how do we get more Mutated Party Packs? Do random regular events become mutated sometimes? Thank you!
Hello, they can pop up any 20 minutes so you should keep an eye on what event is up. You can change the server if the event you are seeing is not mutated. I suggest you to join someone from your friendlist to make sure that you will not get onto the same server.
@@VladArmstrong_EN Awesome, thank you for that. I couldn't find this info anywhere, thank you for having it! And great tip about not logging onto same server, which happens a lot when I switch servers, I will try the friend list.
@@Silversmith70, the mutation events are not happening this week. I believe they are intended to be one week on and one week off from now on.

I could place it on a foundation inside the house and kinda replace the one we have by default there, but it looks ugly. In my orginal camp build I used 2 fireplaces.

I don’t have this since it’s FO1st exclusive. Could someone place this in my camp or am I out of luck?
Not possible. You must get it urself. you can buy fo1st in the end of current season, get all exclusives and make ur best effort to complete the next season within a month.
Useful glitch for speed running scoreboard: if you have rerollers and all of your challenges are spent you can find a server with an event that's usually busy (I use moonshine jamboree and make sure there's at least 10 people) leave the server and rejoin by dashboarding and rejoining from team and as soon as the game loads reroll your challenges before the game "catches up"
