If you just pick up the pressure plate and move it a tiny bit after you first put it down, it will lock in the depressed position and you won't need the mannequin. Makes it a lot easier to work with the pad.
Why does it look so simple but never works for me? I tried for almost hours. No matter what I do I cant get the toilet to place after the merge. Is this a PC only thing?
You should try that table merge with the space table on the new bored. You can drop the rides down to the benchs maybe try to put the new ghoul partners rocket on it also.
my personale favorite is a merge with the single foot turret (not the tri-pod) and the broken oven. this creates a nice trashy defence. the viewingwindow of the oven can be covered with a sign or similar.

With the Mr. Fuzzy build, wonder if you could merge it to where the statue head would be on the surface when opened, and just foundation merge it to the ground so it just looks like a head sitting there? 🤔

No, I did it recently in a new camp build. Just make sure you don't merge it too far down. If a lot of it hangs below the bottom of the toilet it may not let you place it. The wooden foundations are more forgiving about this, and you can switch it back to concrete once you placed if need be.
Well, to answer that question I'd have to know what you're trying now that isn't working. Are you using the pressure plate method, the ground sinking method, or something else entirely?

I've made a carousel before using the fountain, I placed the rides on top of the fountain and drop merged them to the bottom, no rugs needed.
