Finally available in HD! Once again, very special thanks to poison ivy for finding these precious clips ^^
*note: at 1:51 I decided to translate "forte" as "loud", but it could also mean "strong" (hence "strong as the sea"), which would pair with the previous "untamable as the sea" (0:47). Just to let you know.

It's amazing how the Italian version can keep up with Naomi Scott's mouth movements...
Yeah... isn't this how dubbing works?

Watch Italian Version of "For the First time in Forever"
"You can't be locked up forever, it's time to fly" beautiful.
I love this version - the lyrics are amazing and they did a great job with the lip sync! 👍
In the revival, Disney Italy has had a lyricist who's been maniacal on the lip-sync, I keep finding myself astonished by how fitting it manages to turn out every time 😳
@@FlamSparks I noticed this when I listened to the let it go version and the words matched with the English version words xd
@@yeranri Coming from someone who’s speaks Italian as one of her three tongues, yes, but the transition of the lyrics is TERRIBLE! I mean, first thing THERE IS NO REPEATED REFRAIN! I mean, this COMPLETELY ruins the song! Secondly, this version has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the movie!
@@FlamSparks Ciao!
I really like the lyrics adaptation, but the lip sync here is even more impressive like wow :O Kudos to the lyricist! I love Naomi's delivery too :D
Yeah, the lyricist is amazing on the lip-sync. Recently she's left me a bit down with the texts (Moana has really awful lyrics, especially YRW), but I can't not admire the work she does with the lips
I just checked and I see it's written in a slightly confusing way on charguigou's site. The YRW version written by the Rocco Hunt is the end credits version, which has completely different lyrics from the movie version ;)
Hahaha well, I had to look up an Italian site to make sure, so it wasn't that simple ;)
It's true that titles tend to change, but that's actually a generally very Italian tendence: even older lyrics bear titles which have more often than not nothing to do with the actual Italian lyrics. But I agree that that song in particular isn't very Brancucci-like, in the begininning I also thought it couldn't be her...such a letdown it was
I'm Thai I like Thai ver but when I listened Italiano it's like opera and have power voice😊♥️
The power in her voice is incredible 🤩
This gave me chills! It's amazing!
I love both the lyrics adaptation and Naomi's voice so much :)
J'aime beaucoup cette version :)

Hey! This works for me! One Naomi singing for another one!

Stupenda!😍
Bad joke time:
Jasmine: "You can't stay locked up forever!"
Belle: "yEs I cAn"

Amo questa versione a parte spagnolo e latino, bravo Italia
Beautiful song and perfect lyrics❤❤❤❤❤

Hi :)
I’m wanting to make a German translation video for this song..where did you find these clips if you don’t mind me asking? Thanks :)
Hey!
I actually own the German version of the movie, due the fact that I own the Italian, and it’s available as a language option! I JUST LOVE THE ITALIAN VERSION OF THIS SONG!
Questa canzone mi ricorda Quynh di The Old Guard.
come stai
Can you do a video with the Latin American dub? I really love Annie's voice
I'm not really planning to work with the Spanish versions, but a translation is already uploaded on YT. You can try and ask the author to upload a new video with both parts and their clips: ruclips.net/video/-bCTv6f3E6Q/видео.html
Someone explain to me why this Italian version is a little different from what I heard from Disney Italia.
I'm afraid you'll have to be more specific: what do you mean by "Disney Italia"? Their RUclips channel? A TV channel? A home-video release of some kind?
@@FlamSparks I had heard the clip and the voice was much better with autotune
@@Cmsp_SP where on earth did you hear her with autotune?
@@FlamSparks ah ok!! Ecco perché mi sembrava strana, grazie!!
Why do Italian versions always add these extra syllables in songs, I really don't like those
The main reason for that is: lip-sync.
Differently from English, Italian words *never* end in a consonant: all Italian words (with very few and justified exceptions) end in vowel.
This means that, if a word ends in "f", for instance, if you don't add an extra syllable, the mouth is going to show a fricative sound ("f/v") while the singer will not be signing, and you are going to notice that the actor is moving their mouth while not singing anything. For this reason, if you want to have that f/v sound spoken, you need to add an extra syllable, because that f/v must always be followed by a vowel. This is true for many words which end by consonant in English, while in Italian they need a vowel to follow.
While I get that, I think that sticking to the original melody is more important than matching lip movements. I went through an Italian Disney marathon last night and these changes got annoying to me after a while. Thank you for explaining.
@CG it is possible, but it would sound rather old fashioned, cutting the last letter in songs has grown a bit of an overused means of making syllables fit in, so they've grown old and a bit odd

Why your mom doesn't use soap?
