    In rajasthan also they are quite common
    People there avoid night adventure near mountains in fear of these sloth bears

      Yes only in movies and cartoons but In the real Jungle book Nobel written by Rudyard Kipling Baloo is a Sloth bear .
      And also the story of Jungle book is about the animals of central india where only sloth bears are found no Grizzly Bears

    They are dangerous ...on 1 st feb i saw a sloth bear around 6 feet height..tadoba moharli....for booking contact

      True. If encountered on foot, Sloth bears are considered as one of the dangerous creatures in India.
