HOOK: 3mm hook, any hook between 2~3mm should work.
In today’s video, I will show you how to crochet a pet collar with tulips. You can also crochet tulips for other applications, such as crochet tulips scrunchies or crochet tulip hair clips.

I did 35 chains
Instead of the third chain form the hook, I did the fourth from the hook. And instead if 5 loops left, 6 loops on the hook left.

Yes, I think you can try to add an extra row of white double crochet.

I made this but I changed the leaves to pink and didn't do the tulip and it was a different design and looked soo cute should try :) I really recommend if u wanna make something for ur kittie or doggie

I’m really not sure about this pattern or tutorial. I can’t seem to follow it as easily as others and I’ve been crocheting for a long time. I feel like I’ve had to adapt it a bit and watch the video and pattern in combination to try to make it work. Really hoping it’ll work in the end as I’m making it for a friend.

Hi can i use cotton yarn instead of acrylic?
I think you can use cotton yarn as long as the the size of your hook and yarn can match with each other. Here i am using 3mm hook, the yarn is about 2mm wide.

In this tutorial, I am using 8ply acrylic yarns, the size/diameter is around 2mm. 4ply milk cotton yarn can also work 🌻🥰

When I make my tulips, I get a sort of row over the edge of them, made out of the chain of three. They aren't pointy. :( Are my stitches too loose? Or am I going from one stitch to the next wrong.
Just a doubt isn't it the slip stich and not a magic ring ?

If the dogs neck measures 19in or 49 cm. How many chains you think? Anyone?
You can just chain and use your dog as a measurement. Chain until it reaches all the way around the neck and make sure it ends on an odd number :))) hope that helps

What if you want all one color. How would that be different
if you want it all one color id recommend just-- ignoring color changes. just wait a moment and pretend you've changed colors and then keep on crocheting. if it really trips you up though, you can always change yarns to the exact same color

Depends on the size of your pet. In this tutorial, 15 gram is enough for each color.

After the chain, you do a double crochet into the same stitch you made the chains in. Then you skip one stitch in and do one double crochet in the next stitch, then a chain and another double crochet. Then skip a stitch, double crochet, chain, double crochet in same stitch and repeat

hi! so when after the chain3 for green. you work 1 DC into the first DC chain of your white. this first white chain is the one that is created when you skip the first 2 ch and work 1 dc (white) into the third chain. skipping the two makes it act like 1dc. or if you want to make it easier and start in the other end thats also an option.i hope that helps! i suck at explaining things :P
