    As a 50yr+ guy, I've switched to a 2+1. With 3+1 I found I was just ramping too much for 3 weeks in a row. The down week is mostly just dropping the double days, and making the workouts more race specific. My last 3 week build was 140, 144, 110kms as part of my Boston block. So when I comeback after that downscale week I'm ready to ramp up again.
    Love the back and forth between you and Luke.

    Regarding the “down week”. As a 54 y/o I certainly incorporate a down week. I believe it has kept me healthy and able to continuously flirt with 3:00 low. It does however affect my OCD and the Strava Graph 😂
