- I needed to reupholster my camper cushions but due to stores being closed I couldn't access fabric. I found an unused dropcloth and thought this would be perfect for the cushions!!

So I’ve been researching everywhere how to reupholster my Ashley sectional on the cheap but I wanted a canvas looking, thick material and found nothing that fit my budget. I finally gave in and went with IKEA slip covers and spent about $400 but still need to alter it to my couch. I just put it on yesterday, to see what it would look like. But you just went down to your basement and had that bright idea without putting so much thought and money to it. So yeah, you’re a genius! I’m getting the drop cloth and returning these slip covers. Thank you so, so much for the tip! 🤗
Hot tip: apply pressure pushing down on the foam to compress it some while stapling and it will be nice and tight when the foam expands back 😊

I found great plans on the Stodoys plans website. I think this is a good solution for everyone.
I'm going to press down on the cushion to compress the foam a little so it makes it REALLY nice and tight...

What kind of wood is that? I only know of plywood and that’s thicker and not smooth, I can’t find this kind online, would love a name for it!

Drop cloth is my new go-to. I am bleaching them and have stated to cover my furniture. Easy to work with and durable.

This was SO helpful!!! My parents had a crazy idea one day to buy a camper. A few weeks later after a long search, we bought one. In the process we bought an entirely new car because we needed one to be able to pull it, because our van couldn’t. We’re getting a hitch on very soon and once that’s done, we’re going to pick up the camper that’s 5 hours away.🙄😑 My mom and I are super excited about decorating it and everything, and we were wondering how to do the cushions and I found this video! We are trying to do everything on a budget so this was super helpful. My mom is a big sewer so she’ll probably sew them, but we’ll see. Thank you for posting this!!!😁💗

How does the fabric look after sitting on it? I’m planning on recovering a sectional sofa that gets a lot of use.
I used a washable drop cloth to reupholster an ottoman and it has held up for years.

You have zero control over other people, not even in an emergency. Im sure you try to control people durring normal times, you just feel entitled to it right now. Well youre not.
