Wow you did an amazing job! You make it look easy..... usually crafty people make things look like I can do them and well they don’t always turn out as good lol. But I persevere and keep trying. The corner technique really makes them look professional. I love your color scheme it is beautiful and versatile. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us.
Thanks for your tutorial! I've watched it several times to make sure that I'm doing it right. So far, so good! I've made 4 new cushions (using marine vinyl) and have 2 large ones left!
I love this series! I've dreamed of having my own camper and renovating it forever, so I'm living vicariously through your videos. Can't wait for the reveal, but I'm also enjoying the process along the way!
Thanks for sharing. I'm converting a old popup camper to a high low camper. I don't hAve a sewing machine so I will need to wrap the corners like wrapping a present. I will need to add plywood ( lauan) to the bottom cushions but the backs have it already. They did not staple it in just inserted it. your idea will help me greatly. You are definitely a talented designer. I like using my creativity but. I'm still learning.
Girl you are going to have a condo on wheels!! It looks great and I can't wait to get the whole tour. You are so talented!!! Love your style 🌺 Thanks for giving us a peek 👀
Thank you for this Tutorial! We are transitioning to a RV and living full time. I have 2 months to remodel before we move in! And finding simple task that i can do while my daughter is napping Yesss!
GREAT Video! We're getting ready to renovate an RV and it is WAY out of my skillset. This was so helpful. I'll be watching everything in this series. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!
Thank you for posting this! I followed your instructions and they were great :) I am not a great seamstress and our cushions turned out really well - I appreciate your efforts to share your knowledge!
Oh gosh😮 The measuring scared me away. These look fantastic. I want to make a head board for my queen bed this looks like it could be the same process.🙏
Hi!! I absolutely adore this affordable stylish option for my current camper renovation! I noticed that in the beginning of the video your dinette has the original fabric on the backing and the top of the stationary portion. (im hoping that description makes sense) and in the end of the video it looks like you have removed the fabric and it is a crisp white wood look. Hoping yo can share how you did this without ruining the wood! thank so much!
Thank you so much for sharing this. We have just got a caravan about the same age as yours with similar cushions (what were they thinking with that crease?) anyway you have really inspired me to re upholster and update the deco myself because we are on a tight budget.
Just wondering when I do mine will it be a 6”X6” square to sew the darts too? If not how do I figure out how big to mark the square? Thank you this is a wonderful tutorial!
1999 Fleetwood Wilderness 5th Wheel is getting a Glow Up! Thank you for posting this! Lots of inspiration and I can't wait to get started! Any sewing tips or resources you can recommend for a newbie seamstress? I'm thinking of using drop cloths
I'm getting ready to make cushions for our TT. Using your directions but I have a question. How thick was the plywood base for your cushions? Purchased everything except plywood.
Christina, do you think this me this would work with a rv sofa that is similar in nature to these cushions? It folds down a futon type mattress that’s probably a twin size.
Good timing! I am going to recover the seat of high bar stools. I want to paint the chairs and table legs chalkboard black and rough the edges to let some of the brown show through. I plan to leave the table top original wood. Any advice? I thought maybe a gray upholstery material would look good.
THANK YOU SO MUCH : ) for your quick response!! We are enjoying your tutorials with the details and ideas. We are going to use the white mosiac peel & stick backsplash as well.
Looks awsome! I noticed you also either removed or painted over the wood frame behind the cushion? Was it padded with fabric before and did you just rip it off and paint the wood white?
Hi great easy video even for me who till now have never even touched a sewing machine. Just one question that I hope you answer asap as I am sat waiting now :) once I have folded the corner on the diagonal line when I stitch along the straight line and turn the cover over the stitch does not follow the line on the reverse so am I better off making sure these 2 straight lines meet on both sides and then stitch? Or just carry on folding on the diagonal line and then stitching? Many thanks
Is there a way to get corners like that without a sewing machine? I dont have one and I dont know how to sew but i need/want to do this exact same thing to our dinette!
Danielle Hicks - you may be able to use the iron on fusion tape (it is used for hemming pants without sewing) - then trim off excess material. Or just sew it by hand. Just do small stitches so it’s nice and tight.
Doing this with my camper cushions over the next few weeks! Hopefully mine turn out just as good as yours lol. Side note, what did you do for your flooring??
hello very beautiful video please kindly film how to thread the sewing machine how to wind the bobbin and how to operate it please ok?please kindly reply back ok?thank you very much
Not trying to be a nosey nellie, just curious, but how much did this cost you to do this?? I'm going to try and redo our camper without letting my fiance know! Lol

Super easy! I only hope it’s as easy when I try it. 😂 I have two “curved” cushions in our dinette, so that will no doubt make it more challenging.
I love this series! I've dreamed of having my own camper and renovating it forever, so I'm living vicariously through your videos. Can't wait for the reveal, but I'm also enjoying the process along the way!
just got me an older pop up gonna make it a pop out camper in style 70 yr old man without a clue wish me luck lol this girl is good
Thank you! I have bought a 2003 Arctic fox to live in full-time. Thank you so much for this tutorial.

I'm renovating an rv as well. Very slowly. Lol. I'm in the process of making some curtains!!
How did you determine how many inches to measure for the corners?
I'll be doing mine soon. Love how they came out.

I'm following your dinette cushion recover tututorial and I'm wondering how you determined the 6 inch square for your corners? Thanks so much !!
+Gary Sonmore The depth of my foam was 4 inches, and I added 2 inches to that for wrapping around the back.
THANK YOU SO MUCH : ) for your quick response!! We are enjoying your tutorials with the details and ideas. We are going to use the white mosiac peel & stick backsplash as well.
Hi, When you say length plus depth X 2, is it the depth you are doubling? I am terrible at measurements, haha!
That's where I am confused too!? Why times 2?
Loved the color of the fabric you picked for this project. Where did you get it and what was the name of it? Loved this easy tutorial!
Hi! Thanks so much :) It's this one: www.fabric.com/buy/0432823/premier-prints-jackson-indoor-outdoor-beech-wood
excellent video
Looks awsome! I noticed you also either removed or painted over the wood frame behind the cushion? Was it padded with fabric before and did you just rip it off and paint the wood white?
I removed the fabric piece and painted the rest!
What kind of thread are you using, and needle size please?
My question is didn't the cushions smell bad?? If they do what can you do? Buy new ones?
How much material did it take to do both sides?
You should say what size staples you use.. ?
Can you please add a link to the fabric that was used for the cushions, or something comparable?
I used this one: www.fabric.com/buy/0432823/premier-prints-jackson-indoor-outdoor-beech-wood
Did you just remove the fabric covered trims on the top and side on the dinette? This is where I’ve been stuck to take the leap to reupholster.
Yes!
love it 😍

You could pin the corner in place first - ensuring the lines match - and then stitch.

Great tutorial! How many yards of fabric did you use for the cushions?
Thank you! I think I used around 5 yards.
Doing this with my camper cushions over the next few weeks! Hopefully mine turn out just as good as yours lol. Side note, what did you do for your flooring??
Hi! It's a Vinyl Plank :)
The crack was there to avoid wrinkles and bunching up of the fabric
nice and sweet 😍😍
Thanks July 2017
How many yards of fabric did you need to cover the dinette cushions?
I think I used around 7, but it depends on the size of your dinette.
Even I can do that except the sewing. I don’t mind paying for someone to sew the corners. Great look for next to nothing
hello very beautiful video please kindly film how to thread the sewing machine how to wind the bobbin and how to operate it please ok?please kindly reply back ok?thank you very much
....there's also another highly specialized staple remover that is really expensive. A flat nosed screwdriver! Ha ha ha 😁😁😁😁
I’m lost . I don’t get the corners
Not trying to be a nosey nellie, just curious, but how much did this cost you to do this?? I'm going to try and redo our camper without letting my fiance know! Lol
